Nissan Sentra! It's a compact car that's known for being reliable and fuel-efficient. It's got a comfortable ride and usually comes with a decent amount of tech features too.
Proper Economy car with hints of sporty. The price is the attraction with the Sentra. I believe these cars will be appropriated by their owners. Get em while you can.
No 22000 in my opinion is terrible with a cvt transmission it should be like 15grand. Save that extra 7 grand for a new tramsmission when it decides to go out
I love my 2024 Sentra s!!!!!! smooth ride no issues no complaints wht so ever. It's all about how u take care of ur car. Raiti dont be so quick to Zonk this car bc for the price for the look and the reliable u cant ask for a better set up, this is not meant to be a sports car with all the bells and whistles. iv driven my car on long road trips and it was great. Only issue tht u have mentioned b4 with a car thts 0-60 in 6-8sec is the merging onto traffic but other than tht great car and again I have the S model. they put a lot into these cars for the cheap price. Nissan did better with the CVT but of course I cld do without tht. GOOD JOB NISSAN!!!! My thing is if u want a car with all the amenities then dont buy a car that doesnt have wht u want, buy tht dream car if ur able to afford it, if not then buy wht u can afford and be grateful u have a car to get u from point A to point B
I would go with Nissan over KIA any day of the week. I own a 2015 Altima that we use for interstate travel. It has the original Transmission at 126,000 miles. It's been a very reliable vehicle. I do the pan drop transmission service every 35,000 miles. I think that CVT works just fine if you don't push it hard.
I love my 2024 Sentra SV in Atlantic Gray Metallic, great car for the price minus the premium package. Economical, more space than the previous generation, handles well, smooth ride, mpgs are awesome and no SV badge on the trunk for 2025. The color shown is Scarlet Ember Tintcoat!
I bet the Kicks and the Sentra drive very similarly and have the same powertrain. But I was curious how the 2025 Sentra drives, but the video cut to a driving clip of the Kicks so I’m gonna have to zonk that. Still, I think the new Sentra looks great and I’m a fan of that red color with that interior.
I was fortunate to grow up in the JDM golden era. My best friend had a 1991 Nissan Sentra SE-R turbocharged. The car lasted forever. When Nissan was bad ass, even the low trim models. Nissan lost its roots!?
On Nissans website that very car has the premium package. Msrp shows almost 28k for the 2025 Sentra SV with the premium package. The base SV is around 23k.
got a new 2024 Sentra S, it was 22k out the door, very solid and good deal for what you get, amazing 33 mpg and a good amount of tech, as long as you do oil changes on that CVT and you should br OK
I bought a 2024 Sentra SV with the Atlantic grey 😍 love itttt. I like the premium model but HATEEE the poop brown so I just got the basic stuff with the heated seats and wheel
It’s a good car and saves gas…..if you want speed just put on the sport model LOL. Not baddd for someone’s first car but just get a rouge if your looking for a car lol
Thanks for the review. Thinking of getting my daughter a Sentra but wanted to see it driven. It switched to a Kicks, which we are considering too but a bit strange lol.
Yeah the new Sentra looks like it's the same size as my Altima now. I had a 2014 Altima S which I got in July of 2017. It had 75,000 miles on it at the time. The only major repair I had was the transmission got rebuilt for about $3,800 at 225K miles. It just recently died at 261K miles. It was rusted out bad underneath but the engine and trans were still fine. I paid $16Kfor it. I just recently got a 2024 Kia Forte LXS for $20K and some change. It doesn't have as much headroom and it also has a CVT like my Altima did. There's no center fold down armrest in the backseat. It's significantly smaller than my Altima. It's been decent so far. We shall see. Only time will tell. 😎👍 Kia does not make the Forte anymore. It is now called the K4.
i was interested in both, i would buy a k4 before a Nissan Sentra because of hands free adaptive cruise control. I researched them but i came to the conclusion that I firmly believe both are overpriced. I would rather buy a lightly used car of my choice for less than the markups, dealer fees, taxes and titles and the stress of the dealer. its getting pretty old.
Their good cars now that they worked out the cvt quirks. You get great gas mileage and they are affordable. The only downside is interior components are outdated. The gauge cluster is one of my zonks, atleast the Versa added a digital tachometer to change things up on the SV and up trims.
Night and day Mazda 3 is better I’ve been hesitant on them or Nissan cars cause of resale value but Mazda 3 vs this you get basically same fuel economy with 187 hp a 6 spd tranny vs 149 hp and a cvt! No thanks.
Video really needs to be updated with the correct price. That model is nowhere near $22000 with those options and is actually 27000 including delivery. At that price pretty much ANY of the much more updated competition is a better alternative unless nissan sells them with deep discounts to get price down to $22000 lol.
Is it true that the Sentra gets a redesign in 2026? Btw I personally think that the Sentra is overlooked as a good alternative to a small car. Great review btw!
The Nissan Sentra is a great little car that is a solid commuter but I would say skip 2025 because it has minimal to no changes from the previous year. Get the Nissan Kicks instead which has better technology and looks. Hence, why Raiti was driving the Kicks 😂 Nissan needs to update the front with their new Nissan design language, update the interior and add at least 12.3 inch infotainment screen, improve the technology and put an e-power engine in it for 2026.
Tbh that isn't a bad thing.$22k is a bit of a stretch for me but i do own a 2010 Sentra and it has those trans issues so while these features like heated seats and wheel are nice, I'm reluctant to go to another nissan.im looking at a 2018 Buick Regal Tour X or a 2016 Porsche Cayenne to replace my Sentra 😅😅
Sentra turned into a Kicks 😂😂
Literally 😂
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
😅😅😅
It's an Autobot😮😂
It even comes with the option of transforming into a Kicks! Two cars for the price of one - a MUST BUY!
Ummm you got in a sentra and wound up in a kicks!!!! Drinking before editing again. Lol.
had a 22 Sentra until about 2 months ago when I decided to switch to a WRX, very reliable vehicle 0 complaints
im so glad that the sentra is still around
I'd be happier if Versa was around. Sentra is blad and boring.
@@xiondFirstversa is worse
So the Sentra transforms into Kick SR when you drive it. 😱🤣
Nissan Sentra! It's a compact car that's known for being reliable and fuel-efficient. It's got a comfortable ride and usually comes with a decent amount of tech features too.
My girl has a Sentra, it's a great car.
The Nissan Sentra has been around for a long time
I like the Sentra. Everything makes sense. It has an old school shifter on the console. The start button is at the perfect place
In Canada, the SV trim still has the 6MT available roughly asking for US$26k
Sentra just Kicks in yo!
Proper Economy car with hints of sporty. The price is the attraction with the Sentra. I believe these cars will be appropriated by their owners. Get em while you can.
If I would ever buy a new Sentra I would definitely get the SV model with the Premium Package
More than enough for a daily driving car and the price is not too bad.
Not really. 149 hp is just bad. You can't pass up other cars bc of that. As someone who owned a forte... that part frustrated me.
No 22000 in my opinion is terrible with a cvt transmission it should be like 15grand. Save that extra 7 grand for a new tramsmission when it decides to go out
The driving section of the video was the Kicks not the Sentra or am I crazy?
They probably edited the wrong recording into the video lol
I love my 2024 Sentra s!!!!!! smooth ride no issues no complaints wht so ever. It's all about how u take care of ur car. The driving portion of this was from a kicks and not the Sentra?
Was just about to comment the same!
Shows you how bad their editor is
🎈 in before all the CVT and bankruptcy comments 🙂
That interior is nice. not bad for 22k.
It's 22.9 but the premium package is about 2500 so it's probably around25 25.5 plus destination and floor mats and whatever. It's around 26k-27k
I rented one a couple of years ago. For running around town, it's a good car. The passing time of 3-5 business days is a problem though. lol
Right, u gotta daily a 5.0 mustang gt
The Sentra is much better than the Corolla. I’ve driven both extensively.
Moved to Colorado last year, and I’m glad my car has black plastic cladding!! The roads are horrible and rocks constantly hitting the cladding.
I would go with Nissan over KIA any day of the week. I own a 2015 Altima that we use for interstate travel. It has the original Transmission at 126,000 miles. It's been a very reliable vehicle. K4 all the way. More standard features for the money on the K4. It is the most fresh and modern looking of compact sedan segments.
I believe the tan leather etc on the SV is the optimal package and not on the standard SV.

Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
Just by the fact that FINALLY a 2 tone light vibrant color is almost all over inside I would definitely get a SENTRA
I was fortunate to grow up in the JDM golden era. My best friend had a 1991 Nissan Sentra SE-R turbocharged. The car lasted forever. When Nissan was bad ass, even the low trim models. Nissan lost its roots!?
Yes of course Joe & I will buy this car for sure.
Really liked the kicks for the second part!=
On Nissans website that very car has the premium package. Msrp shows almost 28k for the 2025 Sentra SV with the premium package. The base SV is around 23k.
Nissan can easily make a Sentra SE-R by borrowing the technology from Mitsubishi.
got a new 2024 Sentra S, it was 22k out the door, very solid and good deal for what you get, amazing 33 mpg and a good amount of tech, as long as you do oil changes on that CVT and you should br OK
Great choice of topic! Thank you for the fascinating video! 🔥😛
The CVT is the main reason for Nissan's crisis. No matter what, they keep stepping on the same rake again and again
People say to never buy new because u save more buying used
I always buy new because of that reason. Manufacturers warranty
A Mazda 3 hatch
Did the video just go from a Sentra to a Kicks?
I bought a 2024 Sentra SV with the Atlantic grey 😍 love itttt. I like the premium model but HATEEE the poop brown so I just got the basic stuff with the heated seats and wheel

Thanks for the headline not saying is it better than a Corolla….
Guten Tag Mr Joe 👍
Oh no!😂 I really wanted to see the driving portion for a SENTRA
Thanks for the review. Thinking of getting my daughter a Sentra but wanted to see it driven. It switched to a Kicks, which we are considering too but a bit strange lol.
Joe, you forgot the 1962 Ford Galaxie

😎👍 Kia does not make the Forte anymore. It is now called the K4.
Just showing support for Steven loving his Sentras 🤓
What's up with the driving portion of the video? It's from a new Kicks. 😮🤔
Looks like they edited 2 different videos together. Lol
The test drive is the wrong car. It's the Kicks instead of the Sentra.
Joe “Magic” Raiti! Can you turn my Yugo into an F40?
Doh! Rapid Kicks interior swap and interstate travel portal!😛You delivered on the fast food history anecdotes though. Love the tan interior.
I like seeing what Joe is listening to eighties on eight is good
The new Sentra "Kicks" edition sounds awesome. 🙄😅
This is wild. 😂 He's driving a different car.
Whoever edited this video is not getting a bonus this year 😂
I’m making a list. I’m checking it twice. I’m gonna find out who’s been naughty and nice!
Dammed Joe, you got kicked into a Kickls ...
Wait… The Sentra can transform? That’s wild!
what’s funny is that even on the sv pre-refresh trim, you could option in those beautiful led projector lights with the led drls and turn signals.
i was interested in both, i would buy a k4 before a Nissan Sentra because of hands free adaptive cruise control. I researched them but i came to the conclusion that I firmly believe both are overpriced. I would rather buy a lightly used car of my choice for less than the markups, dealer fees, taxes and titles and the stress of the dealer. its getting pretty old.
Damn for 22k I’d expect nothing less when I’m driving and my Sentra turns into a Kicks; good job editor.
10:36 thanks for dropping the knowledge on the chicken lol lol
Way better option KIA K4 starting at $21,990!
Nissan Sentra starting at $21,180.
Their good cars now that they worked out the cvt quirks. You get great gas mileage and they are affordable. The only downside is interior components are outdated. The gauge cluster is one of my zonks, atleast the Versa added a digital tachometer to change things up on the SV and up trims.

My 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander has the 3rd gen JATCO CVT transmission and where I live it gets pretty darn cold so it STRUGGLES.
I’d be afraid to buy a Nissan. Recently reported company only has 12-14 months of cash flow! Serious trouble for the Nissan brand.
Went from a 2025 Sentra to a Kicks interior during the test drive ? LOL
Joe didn't you mention about the Genesis g70 the Mercedes-Benz A-Class or the BMW 5 class?
You forgot to mention that Genesis g70 the Lexus products the Mercedes-Benz e-class or perhaps the BMWs why didn't you do that!
I hate that now I'm craving KFC. Thanks Joe
A Sentra and a Kicks review in one!
I thought nissan moved away from cvt. So why is the sentra still using CVT
Great price 22k. Affordable.
only downside to this thing is the cvt for me, that interior is gorgeous for the price.
Video really needs to be updated with the correct price. That model is nowhere near $22000 with those options and is actually 27000 including delivery. Great vehicle
The only k4 worth getting is the turbo model.
All garbage from Korea
When you incorrectly label your files haha.
Ooops. Still luv ya Joe.
the fact that nissan is having issues as a company does give me pause to invest in a car that won't have a home.
They completely did away with the fog lights with the remodel even on the SR model.
The Nissan Sentra is a great little car that is a solid commuter but I would say skip 2025 because it has minimal to no changes from the previous year. Get the Nissan Kicks instead which has better technology and looks. Hence, why Raiti was driving the Kicks 😂

I can guarantee you that car msrp is not $22k
JOE, please stop promoting FAST FOOD ultra processed American fast food or any American food of any kind. It brings tooooo much happiness.
22.9K wow
Red ♥️ Sentra intro, on throttle Kicks? Twilight Zone Revisited.
@Joe, the test drive is a Kicks .
Kicks? Or Sentra, transformers
Yes
Woohoo, that's got some Kick 🦶
Wow ill buy that kicks trim option lol ....
Do I get a free Kicks upgrade as an incentive? Cool!
you can see the stereo's stalk amplifier and 6x9's in the upper trunk area...lol...i'm changing those out first thing...hehe.
Nissan should have turned this into a sleek coupe
Tbh that isn't a bad thing.$22k is a bit of a stretch for me but i do own a 2010 Sentra and it has those trans issues so while these features like heated seats and wheel are nice, I'm reluctant to go to another nissan.im looking at a 2018 Buick Regal Tour X or a 2016 Porsche Cayenne to replace my Sentra 😅😅
No way am I spending 31k for a Sentra with a CVT.
How did the Sentra turn into a Kicks?
