Love this! If you ever wanted to show what a PX-S3000 can do in terms of its acoustic piano THIS IS IT!

Steve, I love your song in 5 with Dave weckl! The melodic content and chordal shadings are just perfect. Gives me chills actually!

You're such a great player. I first found you in association with David Weckl and I'm currently listening to/discovering Simon Phillips and your name keeps coming up. I'm definitely a fan! When the world returns to normal I would love to catch you somewhere live. Best of luck and keep up the beautiful playing.

I came here for the Casio review, but I'm going to go listen to Steve Weingart's music now. Beautiful playing!

Your playing always has that Invasion of the Body Snatchers, 1978 touch. Great vid 👍

Steve Weigngart and Virgil Donati are also the best Musicians for Progressive Metal. Steve played for Octavision and Virgil auditioned for Dream Theater.

Agree with all that you said but there is one thing that remains to be done.... amplify the out put of the keyboard speakers. They are not loud enough for gigs. Any suggestion for an amp that preserves the tonality of the various voices the piano? Is there an ideal "neutral' amp for this keyboard? By the way - loved your playing.

What about the flawed action that ThePianoforever is talking about, is it better with the 3100?

JPS is a mid-level student player who plays nothing beyond the same prepared pieces. He glosses over how to correct many aspects of the keyboards he complains about in his reviews(velocity, patch volume consistency).
As to the key weight differences in the 3000, it’s not something a beginner will notice or be hampered by . I personally don’t care for the action, but I’d play one at a gig or session if it was presented to me.
I like their Hybrid Grands and am curious and eager to try the new 7000/6000/5000 series pianos.
I like the soundsets and main APs/EPs I’ve heard in the demos on these instruments.

it's home oriented casio... despite the sound and portability... it does look good in your living room or your children bedroom... it even come with red..

That is one of Steve's originals called Daydream. It can be found on his piano album Oasis.
