Thanks for the video. I was in Bacong in September and Dauin, it’s way nicer and not as hectic as Dumeguete , for myself anyways. Enjoy Thailand! It’s been 12 years for me since I’ve been there. Will be back in Valencia in a few weeks.
Another very nice video sharing of your "BACONG Dumaguete Philippines southern neighbor should you live here?" video! Full support already & Best of luck po/Ned 👍👏👍
This gym is a convenient option for those looking for a nearby workout spot, especially since it's newly established. While the equipment may be limited currently, it's likely to improve as the gym grows. As long as it motivates you to complete your workouts, it serves its purpose. Additionally, the presence of basic amenities nearby is a plus. Thanks for showing Bacong. I appreciate your posts, especially because Bacong seems to be a place where prices are fair and reasonable. It's refreshing compared to Dipolog, where it feels like everyone's trying to inflate their prices without justification.
Wow the highway is nice, it was cement only when I used to bicycle by there. That restobar/laundry/ kiddie place is a great place to get it all done. We lived behind Nevas Pizza just north of Silliman University, but I cycled all around Dumaguete area. Warning about the Market on the road to the Apo Island, many pickpockets roaming there and the prices are no better.
Thanks Kevin lol i commented on your video with mark and wrote Timmy instead of Kevin !! pardon me. Big fan of your channel and cant wait to see your travels in Thailand! Have a safe and great time . Danny east coast ny state
You may decide to move to Thailand. It's a better quality of life there. I'll be watching for videos from there. Keep 'em coming when you have time and when you're in the mood. Thank you for doing this.
Hey Kevin, new to your channel. Served in the Navy many Years ago, spent sometime in Olongapo (Subic) Baguio was my favorite, but you mentioned your first time to Thailand ( I only knew Pattaya for short visit ect) I think you Will really enjoy , it’s Fast Pace & have a U.S. vibe to what I remember. Um at 65 & pulled SSI @ 62, living in US is getting tougher ect, um considering relocation & sell off? But I watch like everyone else thru TH-cam , anyhow Best to You & Travels, I write to you down the road, ☘️ Mike from South Jersey
I started out with using half available margin but got a little put crazy had 28 puts open as well as 13 put credit spreads. Had to close some otm puts for .01 yesterday to free up margin on them before close. Rolled some itm puts til next week to avoid assignment but did get assigned 200 shares which I wanted anyways. Good week for options but horrible week for overall portfolio.
Loved the walkaround. That's why you have the perfect location to be, all the basics are right there for you... some after a year you didn't even know! Heck, Mon's is great for a rast6 meal instead of heating up the house cooking the same thing. What are the hours of the gym; is it lighted for evening workouts when it's cooler? What you really need is like a Swan's truck; someone that once a week goes into Duma with a refrigerated truck to buy groceries to then deliver to groups.
chaing mai is awesome the night markets great food very cheap go to the elephants reserve where they paint pictures it will blow u away also go to the long neck people in the mountains they have gold bands around their joints i will be there in feb for 2 weeks
Hi there good video I paid 500 pesos at Boss Gym when I fist worked out there, 2 years later 700 pesos for a month, yes 1,500 pesos too much , Mahanakhon building , do experience that if your in Bangkok as at our age just 250 baht I thinjk it was ,(Jan 2023), normally around 900 Baht for adults , also a buffett cruise is worth it too on the Chao Phraya, a Filipeno lass was belting out the numbers on the cruise we were on, hope to make it to Duma early next year.
If you are paying 200 pesos per kilo of laundry you are paying way too much. I have seen it in the range of 25 to 35 pesos per kilo. Even tourist places like Angeles does not even charge that much. They may charge 45 to 50 pesos per kilo in the area around Walking Street where they know foreigners will pay that price.
How you doing? Kevin Salvador from Denver, Colorado. I've been interested in the stories of your life in Philippines. I'll be in the Philippines September 22nd I would like to meet you for a cup of coffee and chat a little bit if you don't mind.
I’m definitely DOWN on the existing shares in my portfolio, BUT I did some PUTs and got assigned. It brought down my overall cost. I think September is a great buying opportunity….DONT DO ANYTHING THAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD THOUGH!!!
Like I said, Kevin, I'll be in the Philippines for 2 weeks. Just to see what it looks like. And if I do like it on my move out there in Philippines. What are your recommendations and also I want to go to thailand too
Kevin, in your interview with "Every man has a story" you implied that you are a single man again? Would you like to elaborate? Just curious? Thx. Byron
Hey, when I get over there I’ll wash your bike. We can do the barter system. Maybe you can teach me how to invest? deal? I’m pretty thick!!! lol If you yell at me while you’re teaching I might understand after a while!!! Get some tools and I’ll change the oil for you too!!! Hell I’ll even make sure the tank is full of gas! lol I want to attend one of those seminars!!!
@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 ok so I got to come to dumagete to buy it I'm craving alot of things after being here 90 days 😆 a real Pepsi or coke like America crawfish and a good Rib eye steak
Hey mate I sent you a message about two weeks ago about you teaching me how to day trade stocks. What platform do you use? And you said you wouldn’t mind? I offered to pay you but you said you wouldn’t mind teaching me when I got to the Philippines I was supposed to be going this month Fell through yesterday anyway that you can teach me over zoom or WhatsApp video or messenger video let me know I’m willing to pay you for your time. I just figured if I could start doing it as soon as possible let me know if something that interests you I know you’re going to Thailand, but maybe when you get back, let me know thank you. I had somebody that was buying my house. The sale fell through yesterday that’s why I won’t be going this month. Need to wait until I sell. 0:290:32

For less than $1 USD, I can’t beat it for a quick walk in! Thanks for watching as always Maggie, I appreciate it 😉
Beautiful face and complexion
Have a safe trip😊
Thanks for the video Kevin. Nice to see more of Bacong.
Hey man, how’s Arkansas life treating ya?
@@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 Fall weather is here. County fair soon. Life’s pretty good.
Great video Kevin!!!! You have everything that looks close to you!!!! 2 thumbs up my friend!!!!
I like more to have a quiet place to live but also to socialise with others and to travel
There are plenty places in Bacong and Dauin to socialize. I love the quiet and close knit community. Everyone in my neighborhood knows who o am

Nice little informative video Kevin.
Thanks
That wash & wax looked amazing and those roasted chickens are what I'd be eating each week. Have fun in Thailand.
Great video.
oNice video

👍🏻 like I said…if you can afford it…right now is a great buying opportunity 😉
Nice video, very simple & honest
Thanks😃
Great looking area there where you live. I have through there a few times a few years ago .

Hey Kevin, I sent you an email and hoping to get a response...ONWARD brother
Safe travels.
Thanks man! I may stay at Florentina Monday night…maybe we can get dinner….OR a very early breakfast Tuesday morning
Love that repaved National Highway road. I use to catch the jeepneys to Robinson's for my shopping trips.
In the Philippines they put sauce on everything!
So Diesel is about $3.44 a gallon for the cheap stuff. And $4.18 for "premium." In the US, it's currently $3.62.
No, 51.99 pesos per liter , which is $0.93 USD per liter. There are 3.87541 liters per gallon. $0.93X 3.87541=
$3.52 USD per gallon
Regular gas in my area $2.86 unleaded $3.32 diesel this morning
Yes, it is DEFINITELY more expensive here…BUT most people drive scooters and motorcycles, so your fuel bill is about $5 USD/week 😂.
Exactly. Still commuting to work but not far - 9 miles so gas bill not too bad
Wow, chicken looked great!
chaing mai is awesome the night markets great food very cheap go to the elephants reserve where they paint pictures it will blow u away also go to the long neck people in the mountains they have gold bands around their joints i will be there in feb for 2 weeks
Did the ex take the $$?

Nice video of your area... But, you may not want to return back to the Philippines after your trip to Thailand, lol
use your 401k people so when your in your 50s and 60s you can explore new countries and afford to go to the gym there!
Thailand try southern Thailand Trang and krabi. Beautiful drives and islands trust me 😊
Good video. You live in a nice area. Sure better than Dumaguete.

I’m VERY excited!!!!!!
Did you survive the market purge this week. Made $1100 doing the wheel this week but came close to a margin call 😮
I’m definitely DOWN on the existing shares in my portfolio, BUT I did some PUTs and got assigned. It brought down my overall cost. I think September is a great buying opportunity….DONT DO ANYTHING THAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD THOUGH!!!
Why would they do that to their dogs? IT’S HORRIBLE.

I no longer have a girlfriend 😂, surprised you didn’t know this…last week of July actually

Where will the new airport flight path be? My husband and I were looking at a place, but were concerned about being under a flight path.
It’s going to be in Bacong….somewhere west of the Diversion Road. I’m hoping that’s still a decade away or so 🤞🏻
Where you buying Hienz ketchup at ?
They actually have it at Belcris and Hyper Mart
@TooMuchTimeonmyHands65 ok so I got to come to dumagete to buy it I'm craving alot of things after being here 90 days 😆 a real Pepsi or coke like America crawfish and a good Rib eye steak
Not much going on their remind of Georgea
Peace and tranquility is what I like about it😉
how was the chicken
Fucking GREAT!!! I ate 1/2 the chicken. Tomorrow, I will shred the other half and put it in a huge pot with pinto beans, noodles, and chicken gravy 😉!
