Do you still do these? If so is there one for a horizontal opening window and can you get one with an adjustable restriction ie you can adust how far you want it open?
You can get a restrictor that has a quick release for fire exit. All my windows upstairs are for fire escape so this type is not suitable for me but, it looks a good strong fitting.

does this restricter have a quick release in case of fire so that the window can be fully opened ?

Yash Fard not easy to do with double or triple glazing...
You'd need a fire escape window restrictor that comes with a quick release button that enables the window to be opened fully.
