Came here after the Jaguar Wright interview. Now, I keep an open mind on everything that she's saying on these artists that she's been exposing but she's losing me with this particular debate right here. For her to be saying that Em forgot about Proof was an understatement and that's not me defending Em, that's just me keeping it 💯.
Now I ain't going lie, I do agree with the fact that Proof is not talk about more than he needs too. Because me being from Detroit, I have been wondering why Proof ain't have no documentary and him being from the same neighborhood that I'm from (7 Mile Eastside) is not being shown more on camera and wondering why his story is not being told more and his death is not being mentioned more in the state of hip hop. I think Paul Rosenberg is responsible if im being honest but I ain't going assume much because idk, I'm guessing. And as far as her saying Em sacrificed Proof, on one side I'm not agreeing with that, simply because it wouldn't make sense considering how damaged Eminem is emotionally and it wouldn't add up. However, im not denying either only because I'm smart enough to know that people get sacrificed in the industry all the time. Then it could be possible that Proof sacrificed himself so that Em and his daughter could live, when I listened to the 3rd verse of his Kurt Korbain song. But I don't think that was the case either, again idk.
In conclusion, this is serious info that Jaguar is saying and for her to be saying that, we going need to see actual Proof and not just her to be saying this. I don't agree with her about the ghostwriting part, that's for sure. But everything else needs to be shown proof.
