Hey Chris. the saggy butt might actually be fixable by removing spacers, instead of adding them.
The front crossmember on the forester has spacers on them. get impreza xmember bolts and remove them. this will lower the body vs the xmember and rise the engine and stuff up which may require you to swap out the steering shaft for an impreza one or to cut it down a bit and weld the oem one back together. otherwise there might be issues with the steering binding.
It is a lot of work vs strut spacers, but it makes the forester even more similar to the impreza height, geometry and handling wise. I believe SF's and SG are the same here and the xmember spacers can be seen on the xmember behind the front wheel where it bolts up to the chassis. and I think there is no rear xmember spacers, but removing the front ones should help and it is an option to having strut spacers.

I wanted to do same to mine but after you said the wagon rear struts are little longer than the wrx ones I am wondering maybe should be better to search for one of those to avoid needing to add a lift kit, are you truly sure they are longer if so would you say 1'5 inch perhaps?
Did you do anything to the standard studs before putting the spacers? In other words, doesn't standard studs get in a way of properly putting the wheels back on? I'm concidering the same 20mm spacers for the same year turbo forester.
Yeah, Impreza suspension with strut spacers sounds like the ultimate combination!

Do you know what year WRX strut assembly is compatible with an 06 Forester?
02 to 07 if it's the WRX, and 02 to 04 if it's an STI.
If you're getting WRX suspension, try get 2005+

Not a 100% with this specific model I have a sf5 s 01 plate and there’s spacers you need to remove on the front subframe (raiser blocks ) that will give you the look your after 😎
Anyone know if changing 2009 forester oem suspension to 2010 forester shocks do anything to the ride height
