- Embark on a journey of craftsmanship in this TH-cam video, showcasing the meticulous creation of a hammer on a lathe machine. Witness the transformation of raw materials into a precision-crafted tool. For this hammer I used bronze, copper, aluminum, fluoroplastic, ebonite and a chrome plated rod from a shock absorber.
I hope you like it! If you have any questions on the used tools, materials or the processes, write it in the comment section - I will try to answer as soon as possible!

Bee-yoo-ti-ful hammer. Too nice to use. Now make another one not quite so nice.
Thanks! I totally agree with you 😎
👍👍 beau travail.
Thanks a lot!
very nice
Thanks!
How do you cut those threads?
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks!
Very nice. I've some disasters with Copper in the past.
What you using as cutting fluid? Looks like WD-40 or similar.
Thanks for you comment! To cut copper first you need a sharp cutter and WD-40 is excellent, but it is better to use animal fats, they have very good penetration and anti-friction functions.
Yours is so much nicer than the one I made on the shaper in highschool 75 years ago. :-)
Your feedback means a lot to me - thank you!
Definatly a 10 thou hammer
the subs are too short to be read properly. Everything else: Great.
Thank you for the feedback! I'll make sure to adjust the subtitles for better readability.
Yes I agree with yoyo @dealer...... if I'd have held round bar stock in a 3 jaw I would have probably got the sack!.... even so great job buddy, nice machining! 👍🏻
Too nice to use...
I think so, too!
Seeing yhe way the stock was held in the 3 jaw for cutting the side flats definitely spooked me a little bit but very cool build regardless
Thank you for watching and appreciating the effort put into the build!
Nice job 👍
