I actually really loved this movie because of the animation and the characters. I dont see why anyone would hate it, i thought it was pretty good to be honest.
i've been growing up with this movie and i love it. i know a lot of people have their opinions on why they don't like it, but just the red queen (i forgot the actresses name), johnny depp, and tim burton will always have a movie i am satisfied with.
I absolutely agree with him on the whole use any techniqe or combination of techniqes in order to acomplish a goal. Its thinking and reasoning on multiple levels at the same time. I think the same way.
I am a Tim Burton fan, but I hate this film. But I don't blame Burton. I blame the writer. The person who ruined Sleeping Beauty and the awesome character Maleficent. But hey, at least she didn't make every male character either stupid or evil and turn the female villain in a positive character in this film. If this film had been made using the original story, more humor, more surrealism, an actual little girl playing Alice rather then an older teenager, then it would've been a much better film. The original story was tailor-made for Tim Burton. In fact, I feel that Alice in Wonderland was a film Burton needed to make at some point in his career. But that film should've used the original story. So really in the end, I blame the writer.
I don't hate the film, but I do agree with you. Some parts were really cheesy in this film, and therefore, I blame the writer because it is not Tim Burton's fault whatsoever. I love Tim Burton's movies a lot, but sometimes some of his movies would just go downfall, and I do too not blame Tim Burton for those reasons. It is the writer's fault. I probably make no sense, so I am just gonna stop this comment here.
You make perfect sense Ella Deutsch :) When I dislike a Tim Burton film, it's almost always because of the writing. I can't think of a film Tim Burton actually wrote the screenplay for. Though the films that he had involvement in the story are the films I like the best. The film that comes to mind is Edward Scissorhands. In fact, my three favorite Tim Burton movie's are Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, and Hansel and Gretel. I feel that Edward Scissorhands was his best film as it was his most personal. As someone who was bullied, it meant a lot to me (also, I happen to be a Goth). But in the end, it's the writing that made me dislike this film. I think the biggest mistake was making Alice into a full grown woman. Alice should be a little girl. A little girl who's curious and cute. The Alice in this film was boring and quite annoying. Also, what really ruined the film for me was that dance routine the Mad Hatter did at the end of the film, the "Futterwaken". Jesus Christ! What horror! And the music, oh my god! It was like Danny Elfman's unholy combination, of Zydeco, Gospel, Choral, and African Mallet music. Which in theory could be pretty cool, but not in the way he did it. Couldn't he have just done some Oingo Boingo style music instead? If you want to see a really creepy version of Alice in Wonderland, check out Alice by Jan Svankmajer. It's on Netflix and probably elsewhere on the internet. Really great film! Very spooky! Though it doesn't really have much of a Mad Hatter character. But cool film nonetheless. Also, check out Tim Burton's Hansel and Gretel. His most bizarre film. It's on my channel. :)
Hathaway was completely miscast in this role. She was far too old to play a young girl. Otherwise, the film was pretty good. As expected, Depp and Bonham Carter were superb!
+Christa Ford through the looking glass is her going back again i think. this video had nothing to do with the 2016 film they just put that in the title
rewatch the movie and you will see that the movie is about Alice returning to Wonderland its seen in the movie she was there when she was a child and painted the white roses red! this is like the events after!!!
Learn how to spell and this was telling sneak peaks about aoic through the looking Glass they were basically giving out hints.. about the new movie if u watched all the way I will understand little child 😂

the movies that I liked that Tim Burton made was CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY,DARK SHADOW,JACK SPARROW,ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Jack Sparrow is not a movie and it's a charactr from Pirates of the Caribbean, made by Disney, not Tim Burton. You have to revise your classics man 😕

On the bright side it's aesthetically pleasing.
Not every human can be pleased. Because our species is idiotic.

This movie really reminds me of the game called Alice Madness Returns :v
Thank god I'm not the only one. XP
Me too!
Nahhh that's why it's called ALICE in MADNESS returns
There's no true people of Hatter
Michael Cheen looks like Tony Blair in the queen 2006
What is the difference between alice in wonderland from 2010 and this one in 2016?
+Christa Ford through the looking glass is her going back again i think. this video had nothing to do with the 2016 film they just put that in the title
Alice Through the Looking Glass

@@trailerworld9062 lmao lol ok ur welcome!.😁😂
Mia Wasikowska will never be Alice. She hasn't the feathered hair, the attitude, or the generic beauty to fit the role.
I know! In the book Alice has is such a little smart ass and I love it!😂
Um she fits the role perfectly
this is not alice througth the looking glass
Idk why but Tim burton looks a bit like tony stark. Squint ur eyes and imagine mr. stark
