There is a charm about the older IPhone design. I moved from the se 2020 to an IPhone 13 mainly due to the frustrating battery. But loved everything about it and miss it
100% agree. I still casually use my iphone 7, which I bought in 2018. I just can't get rid of it, even when it needed the battery replacement - I went for it. My main phone rn is 14 pro max. At first, I upgraded to iPhone 11, and I got rid of it as soon as I bought 14 Pro Max, 0 affection.
@@maths98_i loved my 7 as well, 7’s camera was so good on daylight (even better than 12’s) and the 16:9 aspect ratio is just ✨ Currently using 12, not satisfied with it, i would have gone for SE 3rd but didnt because of battery and heating issues while gaming, now looking forward to 4th generation.

I do too love the SE series! They’re the last iPhone models that have cute and nostalgic vibes. If I were you, I’d get the SE 2022 because “the newer, the better” kind of mindset haha I’ll get the SE 2022 after my 2020

Banana Fish left me with trauma and depression for a while for sure…😢 But I never regretted watching it! Have you read the manga that kind of concludes the whole story? It’s called “Banana Fish Another Story.” If not, I highly recommend it! Also, thank you for listening to my piano performance :)
I use it as a secondary phone with my S20 FE, they are a pretty good duo, social media and videos on the iPhone, S20 FE for the rest. I love them both.

I still use an iPhone SE 1st generation it was my main device up until I got a 13 mini. The only reason why I stopped using the SE 1st gen as my main device was because of the battery and lack of new software support. The SE phones are amazing.
Good video. I also have iPhone SE 2020 same color. You are getting pretty good battery life, I am very surprised. What is your current battery health percentage? Mine is at 75% and it drains very fast(almost nil in couple of hours). I have started using an Android phone(still using my iPhone as secondary phone though). Apart from battery, the storage of 64 GB is pretty low and it is difficult keep backing up photos and videos from time to time(also backup options and the process is not smooth as Android). However, the performance, ease of use and simplicity is unmatched till date. I love the Touch ID as well.
I love the Touch ID too! It’s sad Apple stopped making models with home button:( There’s no way to know my current battery health because I had my battery replaced at a local electronic store last year and iPhone doesn’t recognize any unofficial parts😢

Thank you for your comment! I use Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2. I don’t use MacBook because 1) they’re pricier than Microsoft and 2) I’m honestly not a big fan of MacOS. I’ve been using Windows since I was a high schooler, so I’m more comfortable with it! I’m planning my next iPhone vlog with different locations and nature in it so stay tuned!
i love journaling and did on day one app for many days, and i lost it all. 😞. now i started using Apple's journal app so that it will upload to icloud always. Journaling is so cool, and looking back to it after many months is such a good feeling. i have a journal from my 8th grade in school which only has 4 pages, after some years, now when i read it. I feel sooo good, and nostalgic and regret that i didn't write more back then. not gonna have that regret in future. :-)
I totally agree with you on these benefits of journaling you mentioned! I have many physical journals full of letters and doodles. I’ve been journaling since I was 14 almost every day and it really is fun to look back on what I was doing and thinking when I was younger! Like a time machine almost

there is one thing that might add to your "analogic" notebook journaling experience: a fountain pen! Since you're in Japan there so many cheap and excellent-performing fountain pens from Pilot, Sailor and Platinum. You should give it a try. Au revoir!

Yes, iPhone SE 2 is my main phone and I have iPhone 8 and 6s as backup phones! If I were you, I’ll go for the SE 2 just because it’s slightly newer than the 11 so iOS support will be longer. Also I’ve never used 11 so I can’t say anything about it😂😭

Hi, Just found your channel and the videos are amazing as the ones I was looking for. Subscribed immediately 😆. Totally loved the videos❤. But one thing i still didn't understand was like did you charge the phone only in the beginning of the day or also in time between by which I mean is like if you charged the phone in the morning, how many hours did you use it for on that single charge and by how much did the battery go down. Sorry for asking such a complicated question 😅

iphone Se is a beast!!! I've got my red Se 2022 but then due to works I had to switch to 14 plus. But still, the Se phone gave me unforgetable memories 🫶 it's so good to see you working good on the Se phone 👍👍👍
Sis, idk if u already knew this, but I think it's possible to keep battery condition after replacing it, u need to keep original flex tho, so it can recognize it as such. Take in mind I'm not a technician, but I've seen several repairing vids and they seem to do this often, they even promote it. Just saying, in case u use this info in the future. Anyway, I'd advice u to ask people that actually knows about this.
I didn’t know that! But when I searched for local electronic stores that do battery replacements, all of them said the battery health won’t show after putting in an unofficial battery. But it’d be nice if the battery health percentage still appears after the replacement…!
SE 2022 is something I want to get once my SE 2020 stops working! I just put on a screen protector with white bezels because I love how it looks rather than having black ones. I guess I miss the front design of the iPhone 8, which has white bezels!

As for touch typing, I watched some advice videos about typing fast on TH-cam and kind of copied what they do, like using only right thumb for the space bar and not moving your wrists as much as possible. And the most important thing is consistency I think! I practiced at least for 10 minutes every day! About anime, I think Japanese people do watch anime! At least me, my friends, and most of my family members, even those who older than me, enjoy watching anime. In the past (like a decade ago or older), people tend to hide liking anime/manga because they were seen as “nurds” in a negative way, but it’s getting more and more normal and acceptable now! And thank you for liking what I listen to! I love The Lemon Twigs and music is something I can’t live without… Excuse my long reply!😂

I have iPhone 6s and 8, and I honestly think the camera qualifies are not noticeable between them and the SE 2! I’m not much of a tech person, so maybe there are some differences that I haven’t noticed, but I believe older iPhones are still totally usable to shoot good videos!
If you use the iPhones with more than two cameras, then there are probably differences like wider angles and stuff, but I’m satisfied with what I already have right now as for a camera.
Hi, I wanted to purchase Se 2020, but I don't know when I tested its hotspot the battery was running out so fast. I use a hotspot most of my day, and it's backup is low, should I consider buying it? I'm in love with SE 2020 but due it's low backup on hotspot 😢🥺😭

I love this vid. Although iphone se isnt the best budget iphone, it still deserves credit. I personally wouldnt get the se in 2024 tho. I find that refurbished iphone 13 mini is a better value and ur still getting that small formfactor like the se but with more features

I think it is true that Apple products are cheaper here! Probably because of the Japanese yen getting so much cheaper these days. I’ve heard some news that people outside of Japan come here just to purchase Apple products in lower prices

Since you’re a light-moderate user, I think the SE 2 will be a good one to use as long as the max battery capacity is not too low.
Like if it’s on the 80s or so, you might need a power bank during the day to use as your primary phone!

I still use an iPhone SE 1st generation it was my main device up until I got a 13 mini. The only reason why I stopped using the SE 1st gen as my main device was because of the battery and lack of new software support. The SE phones are amazing.

Good video. I also have iPhone SE 2020 same color. You are getting pretty good battery life, I am very surprised. What is your current battery health percentage? Mine is at 75% and it drains very fast(almost nil in couple of hours). I have started using an Android phone(still using my iPhone as secondary phone though). Apart from battery, the storage of 64 GB is pretty low and it is difficult keep backing up photos and videos from time to time(also backup options and the process is not smooth as Android). However, the performance, ease of use and simplicity is unmatched till date. I love the Touch ID as well.
I love the Touch ID too! It’s sad Apple stopped making models with home button:(
There’s no way to know my current battery health because I had my battery replaced at a local electronic store last year and iPhone doesn’t recognize any unofficial parts😢

I don’t use MacBook because 1) they’re pricier than Microsoft and 2) I’m honestly not a big fan of MacOS. I’ve been using Windows since I was a high schooler, so I’m more comfortable with it!

i love journaling and did on day one app for many days, and i lost it all. 😞. now i started using Apple's journal app so that it will upload to icloud always. Journaling is so cool, and looking back to it after many months is such a good feeling. i have a journal from my 8th grade in school which only has 4 pages, after some years, now when i read it. I feel sooo good, and nostalgic and regret that i didn't write more back then. not gonna have that regret in future. :-)

there is one thing that might add to your "analogic" notebook journaling experience: a fountain pen! Since you're in Japan there so many cheap and excellent-performing fountain pens from Pilot, Sailor and Platinum. You should give it a try. Au revoir!

Yes, iPhone SE 2 is my main phone and I have iPhone 8 and 6s as backup phones!
If I were you, I’ll go for the SE 2 just because it’s slightly newer than the 11 so iOS support will be longer. Also I’ve never used 11 so I can’t say anything about it😂😭

As for my phone battery, it was changed to 95% at 8 am and I didn’t charge until 9:26 pm that day when it dropped to 16%.
So the battery lasted for 13.5 hours without charging in between!

Sis, idk if u already knew this, but I think it's possible to keep battery condition after replacing it, u need to keep original flex tho, so it can recognize it as such. Take in mind I'm not a technician, but I've seen several repairing vids and they seem to do this often, they even promote it. Just saying, in case u use this info in the future. Anyway, I'd advice u to ask people that actually knows about this.

I had my battery replaced last year, so the battery itself is only a year old but still I’d say the battery lasts pretty long!

As for touch typing, I watched some advice videos about typing fast on TH-cam and kind of copied what they do, like using only right thumb for the space bar and not moving your wrists as much as possible. And the most important thing is consistency I think! I practiced at least for 10 minutes every day!
About anime, I think Japanese people do watch anime! At least me, my friends, and most of my family members, even those who older than me, enjoy watching anime.
In the past (like a decade ago or older), people tend to hide liking anime/manga because they were seen as “nurds” in a negative way, but it’s getting more and more normal and acceptable now!

I have iPhone 6s and 8, and I honestly think the camera qualifies are not noticeable between them and the SE 2!
I’m not much of a tech person, so maybe there are some differences that I haven’t noticed, but I believe older iPhones are still totally usable to shoot good videos!
If you use the iPhones with more than two cameras, then there are probably differences like wider angles and stuff, but I’m satisfied with what I already have right now as for a camera.
