Sirs, what a splendid video of a splendid collection of splendid vehicles. There are people with collections of super cars but I’d much rather have an early SD1, an Aerodeck, a Mk1 Espace and of course the Matra Rancho, a car young me loved but sadly my father did not., than any of these Lamborarris and McLaseratis. By the time we get to the most wonderful of all the BMWs, the early six cylinder E30, I might just have exploded with joy and envy.
Sir, the episode of Sensible Secondhand Classics with the BMW will be up on the channel at some point. I do look forward to trying some more of these cars in the future, but it was a privilege to see so many of them in person.
Gosh sir, thank you so much for this! More of these collaborations please! 40 minutes just flew by. You both come across as being knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the cars and it was an absolute pleasure to watch. I never understand why the Grand Thrift Auto channel doesn’t have more subscribers as his cars are very interesting and very quirky. You get the feeling Mr Douglas DeMuro would be like a child in a sweetshop amongst them.
Sir, we did enjoy ourselves very much! Mr Charles doesn't get the time to upload very much, and puts a lot of efforts into his videos, which takes time, but I expect that he will have something else coming up soon.
Sir, Mr. Charles has some very fine and interesting cars. Great to hear from two blokes who know a lot about and are very enthusiastic about these cars.
I found the Grand Thrift Auto channel because Mr Charles is on the beige sweary car forum. I do enjoy his acerbic wit in his videos and he has a very interesting collection of cars. We both seem to appreciate estate car shaped coupés. Seeing Royale coupé brings back memories. The silver 2800 saloon my parents owned briefly in the mid 1980s was also a 1979 model (KEX 460V). Was very upset when it had to go. Royales were also later fitted with a 3 litre engine, which I suspect was a lot more economical with fuel injection. I have never seen a Lancia Gamma in the flesh before.
The Gamma is amazing! We know that Slightly Sweary beige forum, sir. I think we may be able to do more videos with Mr Charles' collection in the future if I behave myself. The Royale is sublime!
He does indeed, sir! I think that this is the longest video anyone has ever made on all his cars (although four of them do not actually appear in the video).
@lloydvehicleconsulting It was very enjoyable, Mr Lloyd, I hope you continue to explore the car collections of others in the future, it's a great edition to the channel.
Wow Sir, such a nice collection of interesting vehicles. Nice how its not all top spec but more middle range and autos. The stuff that usually gets scrapped. SD1 and wierdly the Espace for me please 🦖
Yes, the collection is very varied and some of the cars are extremely rare. I am looking forward to trying more of them in the future. Thank you again for watching, sir!

Sir, this is probably the longest video which exists covering all his cars!

Great Video Sir & wonderful to see Mr Charles secret Lair with such an amazing selection of 70.s & 80’s car’s & very nice garage’s too.
The secret lair was a most illuminating place indeed, sir!
Top job Sir! Martin has a fine collection of cars - some of my all time favourites!
Sir, Mr Charles and I enjoyed ourselves very much last week.
Great to see you made it to Martin’s collection. Hoping to make it there myself next year, it’s a who’s who of my favourite machinery!
Mr Charles does indeed have a spectacular collection, doesn't he? Thank you ever so much indeed for watching and commenting.
A great little collection in Mr Charles' lair, a great variety of cars he has.
Sir, I am pleased that you enjoyed this lengthy Slightly Shambolic Shuffle Around Mr Charles' secret lair.
Fantastic, Mr Lloyd, I really enjoyed this feature, Mr Charles has some very interesting cars indeed.
