Thanks for another great video ZK. It was interesting and informative and enjoyable to watch. Nice work on this one ZK. Appreciate the fact that you got the basic fix done for this owner and let him decide how much farther he wants to go fixing the situation and of course the dollars he wants to lay out. My personal opinion is this tractor did not have the best of care before he got it and probably he is not wanting to spend a great deal on it. I admire you for getting the track retention and fixing the cylinder for him so the tractor can do its job although understanding it needs more work to make it 100 percent right. The owner can decide from there. Seems now days some owners want everything 100 percent right and others want it fixed to do the job and look at the other repairs as money permits. Each to their own. You did great on this one ZK and made the tractor usable. Nice work. The combine you are going to sounds like an interesting repair. Will be anxious to hear about that one. Have an interesting feedback opinion for you. And I know you keep up with the other TH-cam folks so I will use names. The Larson’s had one of their combines go down first day of harvest. What completely shocked me was the engine motor came completely apart- - took the hole side of the block out, you could see inside the motor and piston and crankshaft parts all over the place. I have NEVER seen a combine engine do that before, wow wow!!!!!!! My question is have you seen that before where the side of the block virtually came apart??????? I was shocked when they filmed it. Wow. Your opinion please!!!! Obviously they are looking for a motor or a replacement combine to keep harvest going. Feel bad for them. Hard way to start harvest. Now back to you and your very professional work on this tractor. You got it going for the owner which is what he wanted. As always super work and teaching us ZK!!!!! You are appreciated!!!!!! The Iowa farm boy. Steve. 😊👍👋✅🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yes I've seen low hour failures like that on the 13.5L's. We had one knocking and were bringing it into the shop and it threw a rod out of the side of the block. I yelled at Patty, "don't stop! Keep it going into the bay!". Didn't want to have to drag it. Lol what a mess that made
Incredible knowledge and skill combined with the ability to be a strongman and contortionist makes you a real pleasure to watch. Thanks for keeping harvest rolling. God bless.
Great repair video ZK MASTER TECH awesome job 💪I hope you get some time for a few motorcycle fall rides in before snow ❄️ thanks for sharing, my friend. ✌️
Mr Zeth Love your videos keep the great work Wow Right now I’m working on the same tractor changing the fuel tank out of it. I’m going to send you some pictures
Thanks Zeth, that was interesting. It made a change to see the bushings slide out like they did, I know that is a rarity, so well done on that score. At least they were getting some grease where is needed to be, if not the rest of the wheels, but when did you last check your wheel rims honestly? Hope you get to show us the rest of the repairs, that would be equally interesting. From UK.
Another awesome vid! I helped replace it on our 8430t. That tractor has not gotten enough maintenance done on it,in my mind! Running it into the ground? Stay safe
Those cylinders can be fun. Getting the snap ring on that front groove is the easy part, getting it back onto the groove either takes one minute or ten in my experience
Never enough time to do it right but always time to do it over. Now the farmer will probably say when you finish the repairs why didn't you do while you were there the first time but will forget that you told him about it
Zeth let me help you out with the scammers. I do this all the time. My wife says I’m crazy haha. Ask them what they’re wearing and then tell them that turns you on. Then ask them if they like to wear sandals. If they say yes, tell them you just love a set of good lookin toes! If they say no, ask why they have ugly feet. Zeth they NEVER call back! 😂😂
Vry cautious repair & intervention of jd8400T tension cylinder rebuild just doing as a Nascar pit stop inorder farmer can use it to Auger jobs which is his imminent concern especially when harvest crop is ready, farmer can hav mor time afterwards to think dat he can invest more money in dis old r used tractor based on his farm job needs
Next time do the inside idler first because when the tracks angled it'll be easier to put the outside on basically assembly is the way you disassembled and nobody likes to be vertically challenge laying down

Another amazing repair by a very talented master.
Well done! It's nice to see a Master Technician at work.
I like the guys shop. That mezzanine rail is nicely made.
“So nothing will squirt everywhere”….. compresses the cylinder SQUIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT 😂
The 'dirt seal has left the chat' had me laughing! 😂 But seriously, great job diagnosing and fixing everything. Love the step-by-step breakdown!

Scam call under a tractor. You were much nicer than I would be.
Great video thanks ZK
We have a very old cat D6 and it has a grease fitting you pump grease into the cylinder that tightens the tracks and they still work perfect

You’re just doing that to show your fancy new boots off!
That tractor needs a ton of work. So much deferred maintenance.
It probably has a ton of hours being 25yo at this point
Don’t let diddy see that cylinder liner soap
😂
Inspiring stuff…

Hi, those new seals will not last very long with amount of play in the idler roller mountings bushes.
He might be able to weld that crack a bit at a time, so as to not damage the rubber by overheating it. Maybe do 3/16 inch segments.
Nice Vid!
Love my Brunt boots 🙂
Buenas tardes, muy buen video como los demás videos!!
I’ve been waiting 2 months now for a pair of boots from Brunt that I ordered that they never told me they were on back order when i ordered them….
Great job as always. I have a question; how long have you been working on John Deere green?
15 years
"Why wouldn't the grease gun be full" Every. Time.
You just about blew out the entire Crotch of your Pants on that Move!🤣🤣
gonna need a little thicker grease for that bottom pin pal
hey there , could you tell me what brand those hydraulic jacks are please , wanting something for lifting self propelled harvesters
Emerson
john deere 8370r Received a message about a malfunction of the right brake pedal switch, tell me what the problem is?
Would it kill JD to tap the pins so you could attach a slide hammer and pull it out?
Should contact larson farns they need a warrenty combine engine stat lol
Kibble installed the new engine 2 days ago.
Wow!! We got it all in this video!! A repair, a macgyver butt shot and a scam call!! Better get that medical card looked at!!
Do you never use a head torch?

I may get some boots need something for walking on concrete
The red shirt is the most beautiful. Can I give it to my wife to commemorate the day we first met?
Notification gang here 😤
Zack how do you explain a Steering Wheel in a track tractor?
On a cat dozer, a proportion valve sets the brakes on one side and the side spins
You should get your self a yoga mat to lay on
There's an idea 💡
