My gf making me make this for her Update since your all so curious I have finally finished terraforming to even allow the build to be in the correct formation along with dug down all 14 blocks needed Note part of the reason I've been taking so long is cause first of all I'm not a builder I make Redstone, farms ,and functional spaces but I am not used to big builds
@fibon5432 I can understand the confusion. My foundation was solid so I just dug in, but you would have to build the walls that are missing inside. The "hole" is three blocks deep.

For anyone wondering (Like I was) foundation is 14 blocks tall, so at 5:11, the floating deepslate slab had 13 blocks of nothing underneath it, the slab itself counting as 1 block making it 14 block from ground to floor of building. P.S. Amazing build and... good luck to anyone brave enough to build this, especially in survival~ (myself included)
@@TurtleShart that would depend on how hardcore you want to be. Up to you if you make it hollow, just make sure to place enough torches to avoid monsters spawning and making sounds
Thank you for making the tutorial as easy and as clear to follow as possible. I've done a few of your builds and always messed it up somehow because they were abit difficult to follow at times. Giving us the dimentions and explaining exactly how they're counted is a blessing!

Hi, I have finished The Sanctum and it's amazing! I did it brick for brick, but I did the floor differently. I am going to incorporate The Mausoleum into the build with The Sanctum! I have finished the foundation and am working on the walls now. Thanks so much for putting these out I have learned so much about architecture from them especially the Mausoleum. I am almost finished the Sanctum build and it's been so much fun and very rewarding! It's really the first time that a build kinda took my breath away and I knew that I had to have it in my world. I am not really a gamer I'm 53 and can't work as a stone mason anymore so my son showed me Minecraft and I've been building ever since. Ps4 with no shaders or texture packs or anything - or that thing where you can like copy and paste huge areas! My son has that on his PC. It takes me a while to build but not like the folks that build in survival!!! You all that do that are my heroes!! So I just have the floor pattern and stairs left to complete and then I'll be building the Mausoleum! Dude thank you so very much for doing these I have built literally dozens of other builds that I thought were big but none had the - " OH MY GOSH" reaction that yours do. My buddy is building this on our realm in survival. We are 2.5 hours in on the second tutorial working on the arches. But just came back to say that wow this is a big job, but it’s so cool. Can’t wait to finish it in survival!

I was trying to build the measurements but I always keep messing up every time I try and idk why but I would like a video of him building the measurements
took me 3 weeks to get all the needed materials. I had to build a stone generator, super smelter (to smelt cobblestone into stone 90k items per hour), wither skeleton farm (to get wither skulls and farm deep cobblestone by spawning it 20-30 times to get materials), shulker box farm, iron farm, wood farm. Now I can finally begin after making schematics and deciding what position rotation on my world.
Just recently found this build, and it's absolutely beautiful! I'm gonna be trying it with a slightly different block palette, so here's the beginning of my quest for a l o t of dark oak and blackstone! Thank you for the amazing tutorial!

I'm going to follow this tutorial but I will probably be making changes/adding my own design choices to certain areas in order to "personalise" it as much as possible. As someone who deeply loves architecture and is currently studying it and i saw this video in my recommendations one day and saw that you where doing tutorial too, i immediately subscribed and waited while enjoying your other builds, although after sometime i kinda got inpatient as for my previous comments and i know it was definitely a difficult build to showcase as a tutorial, but now thats it here it's like the perfect surprise/gift before Christmas, thank you and happy holidays. Down to the last 10 minutes of this video, its taken me about 2 weeks to collect all the materials and get this foundation part built in my survival server. Still need to mine more deepslate, but feels good to have part 1 done 😂

i successfully recreated the bath house and sanctum about a year ago and thought this would be the most natural next step until i heard you start talking and realized this tutorial was even longer than the other one and now im very nervous lmaoooo worried i might be biting off more than I can chew with this one

@@SixWings as a suggestion you could make a view of the total foundations with the amount of bloks. I think that would work very quick because i am using now paper and a pensel to fill in the foundation as a totally finished thingy. But then again this is the easy part because the next video i am going to watch is going up and that wil bring a total new experiences with drawing on a paper and fill in the squares 😂 Also great to think about Discord so people can work together ingame on making more great things like this as a start.
@@--RaGe-- You mean show the foundation as a checkerboard so people can count the blocks themselves? I did think about it, but since the foundation is so big I figured that it would be difficult to see it. But I could just fly over it so you could pause at each section. I will do it next time. 🙂

Started building in bedrock hard mode today. I had to remove a huge chunk of the mountain around my build area only to realize i need to remove more for the detail peices around the foundation. 😂 So much mining. The beacon i got last week helps

Haha, yeah. I don't envy the grinding for materials, but I hope that it'll go well. You could always consider one of the smaller builds I've made tutorials for, if this one is too extreme.

im set back doing alot of terraforming because i set my foundation with Bedrock numbers not realizing the JAVA numbers would be different. for something you know is gonna take a year plus to complete this i think it would be smart to watch the videos before you start building. :)

@@SixWings Cool, I'm already being asked from all corners if and when I'll add your mausoleum.😅 I mean, our tree map has well over 200 builds from Star Wars, about ships, about temples, ARK survival ascended builds and Jurassic World. Our sky is littered with star destroyers, airplanes and flying dinosaurs 🤣🤣 and then in the middle of it comes your stuff next to the TH-camr Jannis Gerzen. And you are the most celebrated. Depending on the interior design, the mausoleum should be a place where the best Minecraft builders of the last few years can come and after surveys on our maps, I can assure you that you have been in first place in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Rightly so. We hope there is more to come. They're really nice things!
This is my first time attempting to build something this massive, I think my biggest build is 100th of this size haha. Maybe not even. I'm trying this in creative, which I dont normally do & I'm glad I did because this is super challenging for a newer player. It's a fun build, I hope I can finish it!

I ended up joining a server full of impressive builders a month later & learning about litematica. I eventually decided to attempt this again, so I subbed to your patreon. About 2 weeks (after collecting materials) & a shulker of totems later, I'm done! I wish I added texture to it, but I'm gonna see what i can do & try to get people to help decorate it. Figured it could be a fun halloween project to fill it with spooky stuff. Everyone who stops by is awe-struck by this beautiful & massive build. We have a server tour this weekend & I cant wait to show it off. I'm sifting through your builds to find my next project. Thanks for putting in the work so the rest of us can cruise through these

I was trying to build the measurements but I always keep messing up every time I try and idk why but I would like a video of him building the measurements
in the video of part 1 he shows how he counted each line for the initial platform
took me 3 weeks to get all the needed materials. I had to build a stone generator, super smelter (to smelt cobblestone into stone 90k items per hour), wither skeleton farm (to get wither skulls and farm deep cobblestone by spawning it 20-30 times to get materials), shulker box farm, iron farm, wood farm. Now I can finally begin after making schematics and deciding what position rotation on my world.

As someone who deeply loves architecture and is currently studying it and i saw this video in my recommendations one day and saw that you where doing tutorial too, i immediately subscribed and waited while enjoying your other builds, although after sometime i kinda got inpatient as for my previous comments and i know it was definitely a difficult build to showcase as a tutorial, but now thats it here it's like the perfect surprise/gift before Christmas, thank you and happy holidays. Down to the last 10 minutes of this video, its taken me about 2 weeks to collect all the materials and get this foundation part built in my survival server. Still need to mine more deepslate, but feels good to have part 1 done 😂

i successfully recreated the bath house and sanctum about a year ago and thought this would be the most natural next step until i heard you start talking and realized this tutorial was even longer than the other one and now im very nervous lmaoooo worried i might be biting off more than I can chew with this one

I have been playing Minecraft since it came out. I have been gaming long time I think once a gamer always a gamer. At least for me. I just typed in castle and your channel pop up.I am old like granny old I only have you tube as my tv because I never paid for tv why now? I have watched a ton of videos on gaming this is the very best I have ever seen. I am completely mind blown on your builds. I only play in survival on sadly Xbox. Your channel will help me come a better builder. I build what comes to mind my builds are never perfect always one block off.I build randomly. My world right now is an old Xbox 360 world with amp everything so your builds will make my world insane beautiful. @@SixWings as a suggestion you could make a view of the total foundations with the amount of bloks. I think that would work very quick because i am using now paper and a pensel to fill in the foundation as a totally finished thingy. But then again this is the easy part because the next video i am going to watch is going up and that wil bring a total new experiences with drawing on a paper and fill in the squares 😂
Also great to think about Discord so people can work together ingame on making more great things like this as a start.
@@--RaGe-- You mean show the foundation as a checkerboard so people can count the blocks themselves? I did think about it, but since the foundation is so big I figured that it would be difficult to see it. But I could just fly over it so you could pause at each section. I will do it next time. 🙂
@@SixWings yes indeed. People who are building this can pauze the video and have a good look on where they are in the build. I know its a bit much to do but it also gives you a break time for coffee 😁

Started building in bedrock hard mode today. I had to remove a huge chunk of the mountain around my build area only to realize i need to remove more for the detail peices around the foundation. 😂

I first buit your sanctum over gaurdian farm in my server and every one says that it's a masterpiece now I am on part 3 of your autumn castle tutorial, I have changed all the blocks and recoloured it. I wish I could show you I am really proud of it.

Haha, yeah. I don't envy the grinding for materials, but I hope that it'll go well. You could always consider one of the smaller builds I've made tutorials for, if this one is too extreme.

im set back doing alot of terraforming because i set my foundation with Bedrock numbers not realizing the JAVA numbers would be different.

@@SixWings Cool, I'm already being asked from all corners if and when I'll add your mausoleum.😅 I mean, our tree map has well over 200 builds from Star Wars, about ships, about temples, ARK survival ascended builds and Jurassic World. Our sky is littered with star destroyers, airplanes and flying dinosaurs 🤣🤣 and then in the middle of it comes your stuff next to the TH-camr Jannis Gerzen. And you are the most celebrated. Depending on the interior design, the mausoleum should be a place where the best Minecraft builders of the last few years can come and after surveys on our maps, I can assure you that you have been in first place in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Rightly so. We hope there is more to come. They're really nice things!

This is my first time attempting to build something this massive, I think my biggest build is 100th of this size haha. Maybe not even. I'm trying this in creative, which I dont normally do & I'm glad I did because this is super challenging for a newer player. It's a fun build, I hope I can finish it!

@@SixWings SO! I spent 30 hours attempting to build this from the tutorials, I think I got an hour into video 2? And I just lost it when you said "repeat on other side" haha so I gave up. I ended up joining a server full of impressive builders a month later & learning about litematica. I eventually decided to attempt this again, so I subbed to your patreon. About 2 weeks (after collecting materials) & a shulker of totems later, I'm done! I wish I added texture to it, but I'm gonna see what i can do & try to get people to help decorate it. Figured it could be a fun halloween project to fill it with spooky stuff. Everyone who stops by is awe-struck by this beautiful & massive build. We have a server tour this weekend & I cant wait to show it off. I'm sifting through your builds to find my next project. Thanks for putting in the work so the rest of us can cruise through these
