- Welcome to another video! In January, I had chance to take a ride aboard the latest jet in Delta Air Lines's fleet, the Airbus A321neo which officially entered revenue service for the airline in May 2022. This ultra-modern fuel-efficient aircraft is used primarily on certain cross-country routes and certain flights to Hawaii. These aircraft feature an all-new domestic first-class product, and later deliveries are expected to feature Delta One Lie-Flat seats for long-haul flights. Tonight, I'll be flying on N512DE which had just entered revenue service less than a month prior at the time of this flight. Come along with me as I fly aboard Delta's latest and greatest aircraft, The Airbus A321neo.
Enjoy!

I just flew on 2 of these new a321 NEOs in economy from Seattle to LAX and back. The new Airspace interior is super nice. Not just the large overhead bins either, it just has a more premium feel to anything else I’ve ever flown in. Boeings sky interior just feels minimalist and boring, maybe flimsy in comparison. Airspace just feels super robust and high-end. Maybe the first plane I’ve been in where the window shades didn’t feel like they were going to break!
Only complaint was the seat cushion on those Collins pinnacle seats in economy on all the A220/320&variants/330 series, most 757s, 737-900s, and the 767-400s. The 737-800/717/767-300 aircraft usually contain older Zodiac/Weber 5751 model seats which seem to have better padding on the bottom, though 737-800s lack the headrest.
I booked one of these for January 2025. happy to see it's a good product! I've long flown solely Air Canada, and i wanted to explore other options. Delta popped up, and was cheaper than a nearly full fare economy ticket on Air Canada. Delta can take my money, I've heard more good things about them than Air Canada
Do you know if normal economy had seat back entertainment?
NNNIIIIICCCEEEE!! I really LOVE those RED EYES TO ATL!! I remember the L 1011 on DL!!! Always flew first class! This is a nice plane!!!!
Unfortunately, you skipped a key part the separation between first class and comfort plus by the bathroom
New York to dtw
I hate those red eye flights, in in F.
I keep it
Avant delta possédait Tristar 500. 747
Maintenant cest A321 nouvel flottes?
Flight attendants arrival message is not spoken very lucidly.
What camera was used to record the takeoff and landing?
GoPro Hero 8
How’s the overhead compartment for comfort plus? I’ve been looking for the luggage size. Thanks for sharing this video with us! 👊🏽🫵🏽
The overhead bins are the same size throughout the aircraft regardless of the cabin.
They are large, much like many other single aisle aircraft. You put your carry on luggage on its side rather than its back, so more luggage can fit in the bins.
How do you get Medallion status?
Little bit bigger please
Aye!! Redeye!!
321 is pretty good not to small 321 pearty good not too small little bet bigger please
Are the comfort+ seats any wider than the economy seats?
No difference in width, just the pitch of 34” instead of Main Cabins 31”. You also do get a bit of extra recline. I believe these differences are also on Deltas website.
Comfort+ still doesn’t look like much legroom. I like Jetblue’s better.
3:48...that announcement was the most unintelligible English I've ever heard lol
Exactly....so lazy with the diction.
Wales has a spirth in the overhead bin is what I heard
These ULTRA Quiet AC are so boring. I miss the 727s, 737s, etc. That FA needs some training in enunciation. Nice vid.
Quiet engines are a way to reduce noise pollution while also reducing fuel consumption. Marginalized communities are heavily impacted by noise pollution and cause a plethora of physical and mental health problems. While I do like the older era of flying, this is technological progress in front of us. Things will continue to change for the better, we can’t live in the past and expect things to improve.
Thank you for that tutorial@@rylans.5365
