Yeah my aunties dog growing up was my favorite dog ever, he was calm but also aloof and would let you know if he didn't want you around lol. And she had this other little dog that would shake a toy in his face and he tore the toys head off lol.
Gentle and calm rings bells for me - my own akita was registered as a therapy dog. We visited a local hospice where staff, patients and visitors were just besotted with him. He had an uncanny ability to recognize people that didn't want to say hi and would just walk past. He was particularly good with children and, in turn, they seemed to instinctively realise that this 30 inch, 100 pound furball was no threat. He got me through some tough times and is still sorely missed.

@@sukhmand5327 In a word. No. Before I got my akita I had a few other dogs, a husky (another Northern Spitz breed) being the closest in the independent, willful category. I will tell you the akita is a unique breed in many ways. If you have never owned a dog, they are not a good choice. The akita is a naturally dominant breed, and if they don't think you are worthy of leading, they will rule your world. They are also easily bored and will do things just to entertain themselves - which may not fit into what you want from them. Finally, they are not a "try out" dog. By that I mean if they bond with you, they are with you for life. Or should be. They are not a breed that is easily re-homed if they don't work out for your situation. If the breed interests you, I would suggest one of the other breeds in the northern spitz branch - husky, alaskan eskimo dog, or so on. They will be challenging, and give you an intro to what an akita will bring to the table. They will also teach you how to handle an independent dog, and if you are diligent, teach you how to train. As one site on Akitas said, "Akitas are not for the faint of heart." They're right.
I've been watching this show for years already, so that's a favor to them right? So why can't they at least delete this episode and make a new one that mentions Japanese Akitas and American Akitas? AND HACHIKO!?
Own 2, I've had a lot of breeds, and they are excellent dogs. If you train them early on in puppyhood that you're the leader they will have undying loyalty, and be constant pleasers, plus they give their owners tons of love. They would be my number one if it weren't for the German Shepherd. :) Another plus, they are super big, and great to hug!
My brother has the japanese akita... They get aggressive once they get comfortable unless you train them really young also IT IS a big dog... Mines only 3 months and already as big as a normal sized labrador
Everytime I watch "Hachiko", my eyes gets full w/ tears. Damn, not just Akita I'm in deeply in love w/ each and every dog in the world till death. No matter cute or not cute, big or small, bring them on cause' I love them all. God bless them all w/ love, better life & longer life. :) :*
I grew up with an Akita, most beautiful, gentle little man you could find. He was protective, when we moved he'd sit out with my brother in the highchair outside and growl at that one shady mover man, he just knew. Beautiful dogs.
It's been 5 years on this day, since my Akita named Bear passed away. I loved him so much you couldn't understand it. When you have a pet of any kind, treat it with love and respect that it needs and deserves no matter what, because you will receive it back from them. I pray every year to God to let me play with my best friend one more time and have a spot in heaven for him. God.... I miss you Bear and I love you and I will see soon. It'll just be like old times, I promise.
I just got a Chow/Akita mix and he is EPIC! Sweet, smart, great with my cats, beautiful, and he loves to backcountry ski with me. He never barks, never begs... one in a million.
I've had 3 Akita's, and one of them birthed 7 others. These dogs are tough, so you need to show them dominance right off the bat. These are great dogs, especially for those looking to protect your family. They will put themselves in front of danger to protect you. To them, you are 'part of the herd', and they'll do anything to protect you.
ah lovely shit. akitas are amazing being american akita or the akita inu. they are not agressive they are great with children its actually one of the strong parts in their breeding and they are so loving and loyal
I have two. Extremely smart, affectionate, the best companions I could ask for. Funny too! They have a great sense of humor! We do everything together. I cannot imagine my life without them.
I had two Akita's that lived with a German Shepard/Great Dane mix and three Pugs. These are not aggressive/territorial dogs. The way they're raised and socialized is EVERYTHING.
So I've been thinking about adopting an Akita from my local humane society and there was a video about her and it showed that she was trained and very sweet, I'm hoping to make her my emotional support dog. Would she be good for that?
+Haley Pierce Only if it is well trained and was already very well socialized. These are huge, powerful dogs and they can be dangerous, especially to strangers. Some are sweethearts, some can be very aggressive. And even the sweethearts can be protective of you.
+Haley Pierce akitas are great at emotional support. but its usually to the owner and the ones closest to their owner. they will die to protect you or people that you show strong love for. others they willl not care for.
I regularly babysit for my aunt's American Akita and it's the best dog I've ever known. Super sweet, beautiful, and loyal. Chased a raccoon out of the yard but nuzzled a kitten. Nothing beats walking her either. Man, the looks people give you when they see that dog!
We just got our American Akita. Male, 16 weeks, and the MOST WELL BEHAVED dog I have ever met. He’s very sweet and very gentle, doesn’t bark, and thinks he is a lap dog. We have been around a lot of kids and other dogs and he thinks they are just the bees knees. Very sweet and very gentle.
Akita can be very shy around strangers. Most of their aggression tends to be aimed at other dogs. This is often a huge problem. Owners should make an effort to socialize them from a young age.
fuzzyzombielove ur rite i have an akita dey need a stong owner i seen first hand the damage an akita can do ant trust me when dey get into a fight they will kill the other dog an i mean realy like kill it mines ok with bitchs but hates males
Adopted an Akita 11 years ago. She was 1 1/2 years old and abandoned in the streets. This was the best thing I ever did, loyalty and companionship was what she brought to me. Were best friends and bonded so easily. My girl is unreplaceable.
My akita died just recently. She was only a puppy when I was born. We were basically the same age. Very strong animals and loving. As a puppy she would kill a lot of birds; since their breed is known for hunting skills. Love love love that dog and miss her so much.
My dad is from the akita prefecture and he really likes this breed. One time when he was just strolling around he saw an akita or akita inu he calls it with its owner. According to this vid, they're not very good with socializing....So what does my dad do? He just pets it and the dog doesn't do anything. Must have sensed that akita blood running in both of them ;)
I've met a few Japanese Akita dogs and they were pretty good with other animals - each dog is an individual and has it's own personality. Some are more tolerant than others.
We've had our Akita for nearly nine years. He is one of the finest dogs we've ever had in the family. I grew up with pure bred German Shepherds. I've also had a Chow Chow and a few other breeds. Each is great in their own way. None is like the Akita in my opinion. There is one main problem that one has to contend with and that is the shedding. I've come up with my own solution in dealing with our Akita's twice a year shedding. None the less, it is a mess. We've learned to over look that problem because our Akita is a part of the family. Just like each of us has physical flaws to contend with and yet accept one another it is so with the shedding of our Akita. We've really grown close to our Akita. He sort of talks when he's hungry or bored. He sounds like Scooby Doo.....He will bark from the living room when strangers walk by on the side walk. Other than that he seldom barks. A chow chow did attack our dog around six years ago on the street as he minded his own business. He unleashed his fury in a self defense mode, literally bulldozing right over the attacking dog. That dog immediately ran away in terror. Another time three loose dogs ran up to attack him. He stood there staring at them. Two backed off. The third a bull dog tried to attack our Akita. Our Akita simply brushed him off standing right over him. Our Akita didn't hurt him and has never hurt any other dog. I've taught him to be civil. He is weary of strangers that enter our home but is not aggressive toward them. He will simply go out thru his doggy door and wait till the stranger leaves........ Our Akita enjoys being with the family. He cannot stand being isolated. He is family oriented and is very protective.
MarioIsLife for the Japanese and original version : Akita Inu, they're known to love sleeping and doing nothing of their days, they can live in an apartment without any problems, but still are very energetic and crazy once outside. And even though they're lazy sometimes, they need a strict education, since they are extremely intelligent, it can be very easy, as well that it can be pretty hard to teach them basic things.(Obey and learn INCREDIBLY fast with treats, may not even give a shit if your hands are empty). Most of the time, they do not get along well with other dogs especially ones that are the same sex as yours so you have to pay attention when you go for a walk with your dog. Mine is very aggressive when she meets other dogs...but they are awesome dogs if you're an awesome owner, hope it helped you :)
I can tell you from experience that apartments are awful conditions to keep a dog like this. I had a beautiful Akita x Alaskan Malamute and it was very difficult because of their coat blowouts and constant energy (needing walks). Look into it more before you do. It's a huge responsibility.
Akitas are not aggressive I have oned two Akitas they are not at all the quit and lazy my first one died two years ago thow but I have another one that is sitting with me lol
+Johan Kjeldsen Myhre Maybe, but I try to take mine on runs with me and she just lays down and stares at me, also her favorite activity is not running around the huge garden or parking garage, but sleeping in my parent's room.
yeah, I only mean by money so i can pay for food, vet check ups, grooming, and everything a dog needs. space so the dog can have room to play and run. (not counting walks). Right now i wouldnt be able to take one due to college life and apartments are not enough room for an Akita. :) thanks for giving me tips i'll ask questions when it gets closer to the time of owning one. down the road when i have a steady job and a actual house with a nice fenced yard.
I have a full-blooded Akita, and she is just a big baby. She loves people, but people are scared of her. Now on the other hand my mom had an Akita-Chow mix, and she was very territorial. She was still a good dog though.
it's not actually true.. check akita history and origin, american akita and japanese akita. akita-dog.com is a great research website. you will find that japanese modified/improved in their opinion the breed in order to have a more slender body and certain coat patterns to the actual japanese akita. americans did not know about this plan and just crossed breed the existing akitas in america. therefore, it is thought that american akitas actually share more characteristics with the original akita than the modern japanese akita.
Good advice!!!! I adopted one 10+ years ago and it was just us. We bonded because of the time and attention she got. This is not a dog you put outside all day and walk once a week. My girl needed to be involved in almost everything I did and I loved it. Like piscespeter3 is saying, if you can't make alot of time for an Akita don't get one.
I HAVE AN AKITA, his name is Bear and i love him! He's so protective of me and he loves to go for walks. He's a giant teddy bear, and he likes to play a whole bunch. He growls loudly though lmao
there seems to be... two types of akitas in this video. there's a difference between American ones and Japanese ones, right? Are the seemingly more "lithe" ones American (like... 2:08. it seems different, reminds me of a German Shepherd in its coat length) and the fluffy, broad head ones(like 3:15 and 2:06. reminds me of Hachi) Japanese? Or is it the other way around?e
the american akita were mixed with other breed to increase their fighting abilities, or that's what I read somewhere. They are used a lot as police dogs because of their strengh, powerfull bite and sence of smell.
Akita are amazing dogs I have one since I was 3 her name was ciara she was with great with kids and loved everyone she was brought up with my staff nelly who I have since I'm 4, Ciara sadly passed but we now own Alfie who's a beautiful pit bull :)
ive got a akita Shes so Pretty and shes very old shes 77 in doggie years shes fine shes not making us pay extra and she dosnt shed alot =I so what are they talking about
Honestly, most people just don't train their dogs right if at all. Thats why certain breeds get a bad rep. I had 3 rottweilers when I was 5 years old, best dogs I ever had too. They were friendly and gentle because they were trained to be that way.
Shedding is all relative. Any double coated breed is going to shed their undercoat a few times a year, plus the usual shedding year round, and need regular brushing to prevent mats. But someone with a non-shedding breed such as a poodle, is going to think they shed a lot.
Carolyn Black exactly. i have a Border Collie, a Boxer and an Akita... the Boxer sheds the worse in my opinion. her fur sticks and weaves it's way into everything. my Akita's fur is much longer and finer so it sorta clumps together and cleans up way easier.
EXCELLENT intro/summary. Like wolves, they are family/pack oriented. Early training, intense love and interaction is critical. Socialization is god, but they need heavy love and family interaction. Treat them like children. gentle but firm discipline- they understand a "no" the first time. Do not grind it in. They wer bred to be independent thinkers. respect that, and you will speak Akita.
Many ppl think that they are the same even thought the japanese akita inu was first and it only comes im two colours white and, white and brown. But ultimatly they come from the same breed just two types of it and they are regarded as the same in many videos.
I have Akita Inu or (other name,Japanese akita)....American's think that Akita Inu and American akita are the same breed... it's very annoying..... and yes,I don't mean shiba inu.... shiba is a small japanese verison of akita inu...
I had 2 Akitas!Amazing breed! And they are pretty good with children.Amazing, large breed!Sadly my last one passed away about 2-3 years ago and was 11 years old.R.I.P
My Akita is great, got him from a breeder at around 6-7 weeks. He has a full golden brown coat with a black face. He's very loyal and one of the most relaxed dogs I've every had (mainly barks when he needs something). He can get excited when playing a lot but I taught him to not bite (when playing). He'll gently nibble on your hand at most. He grew into an amazing guard dog & does great with meeting new ppl. He plays with other dogs as well as expected, lol social when he wants to be
Oh yeah and idk what the guy in this video is talking about. My Akita barely sheds at all, even tho he's fluffy with his double coat. I recommend getting this dog as a puppy
AtomSoBomb That's so ignorant and foolish i got no words. I can only get physical. And that can't be done over the web. So, please, don't comment on my post.
I had one of these as a kid. His name was chaos and was the best dog I ever owned. I sneaked the dog in the house on mothers day and lied saying it was a gift when it really was for me :)
My dog is a husky Akita mix. He acts very much like an Akita. We used have just a full Akita but she got hit by a car :(. She was very much like this. She always protected our yard and us. Now we have Kilo (the husky Akita mix) and Toby (a chocolate lab)
oh my god! a little knowledge is a very dangerous thing...LIKE THIS 4 minute video!!!...ridiculous!! you can NOT sum up a breed in 4 minutes or 4 hours even...these dog 101s are DANGEROUS to any breed ESPECIALLY a unique, special breed like the Akita...i have 2 now and have had one before them...and before that i raised and showed champion rough & smooth Collies...what a difference!...but had i met Akitas before Collies i would have never had another breed!...if you REALLY want to know about Akitas do NOT go to dogs 101...go to shows, go to breeders, go to books and training classes!!! spend a year or MORE researching the breed THEN come back here and make comments!!!
My friend has a rescue Akita and it was tough at first since she wasn't well trained, but they put in the work and now she is the sweetest dog in the world. She has the tiger stripe patterning and looks half tiger, half wolf with a little bear thrown in 😂
I wish they hadn't stopped making these. This is a great series.
Me too

By that I mean if they bond with you, they are with you for life. Or should be. They are not a breed that is easily re-homed if they don't work out for your situation. If the breed interests you, I would suggest one of the other breeds in the northern spitz branch - husky, alaskan eskimo dog, or so on. They will be challenging, and give you an intro to what an akita will bring to the table. They will also teach you how to handle an independent dog, and if you are diligent, teach you how to train. As one site on Akitas said, "Akitas are not for the faint of heart." They're right.
Rescued my third Akita last year and never had problems. Very loyal and the bonds we had were unmatched !!! Best dog I ever had.
I've been watching this show for years already, so that's a favor to them right? So why can't they at least delete this episode and make a new one that mentions Japanese Akitas and American Akitas? AND HACHIKO!?
and jindo
This is a short version, in a longer version they show a short story of Hachiko
+Makka Na Makura where can I find the long version?
Lily Evans wait, you mean, can they delete this, and make one about Inu akitas, japanese akitas and american akitas?
Because they're the same dog? Lol
Own 2, I've had a lot of breeds, and they are excellent dogs. If you train them early on in puppyhood that you're the leader they will have undying loyalty, and be constant pleasers, plus they give their owners tons of love.
They would be my number one if it weren't for the German Shepherd. :)
Another plus, they are super big, and great to hug!
My brother has the japanese akita... They get aggressive once they get comfortable unless you train them really young also IT IS a big dog... Mines only 3 months and already as big as a normal sized labrador
Lol i basically repeated what the guy said but yea its true
Doge's big cousin.
I had the privilege of meeting one 2 days ago, the friendlist dog I've ever met!♡
Hachi.. TwT that movie still makes me cry
what about Mexican hairless
my 16 yr old girl dog, thanks you for your kind thoughts. as do I.
would never get any other breed or even think about it, these guys are the best dogs to own IMO
They call this show "Dogs 101", yet the people on it don't even seem to know the difference between the Akita Inu and the American Akita...
I have a Husky-Akita mix and she is an absolute joy! She is full of energy and loves to play.
I grew up with an Akita, most beautiful, gentle little man you could find. He was protective, when we moved he'd sit out with my brother in the highchair outside and growl at that one shady mover man, he just knew. Beautiful dogs.
I have one right now, he's amazing! wouldn't hurt a fly
+downshift 111 same mines afraid of my rabbit
It's been 5 years on this day, since my Akita named Bear passed away. I loved him so much you couldn't understand it. When you have a pet of any kind, treat it with love and respect that it needs and deserves no matter what, because you will receive it back from them. I pray every year to God to let me play with my best friend one more time and have a spot in heaven for him. God.... I miss you Bear and I love you and I will see soon. It'll just be like old times, I promise.
Fuck god isn’t real but lll treat every animal equal
I have an akita and a beagle and the beagle is the trouble maker in our family....
lol always will be. Damn diggers XD
The beagle is bi polar I believe.. one minute he is the sweetest dog and the next he is a raging lunatic... its crazy.. but I love him anyway...
I have an Akita and its one of the greatest dogs ive had
I just got a Chow/Akita mix and he is EPIC! Sweet, smart, great with my cats, beautiful, and he loves to backcountry ski with me. He never barks, never begs... one in a million.
Akitas are King of the Canine!
My boy is one of the most kind and loving dogs I have ever got the pleasure of meeting.
Wow
So massive
Giant shibe
Terrifying doge
Wow
Doge Is A Shiba Inu
The fuck?
gx ted i said the same thing
Slade Wilson I know but they're similar.
wronv dog
Its like... Doges brother...
yup, same family. Husky would be their cousin.
Doge is a Shiba Inu they are just a smaller form of the Akita :)
More like Doges son since the Akita originates from the Shiba
Hachiko!!!
that was a shiba inu
Allison Goodman akita**

I've had 3 Akita's, and one of them birthed 7 others. These dogs are tough, so you need to show them dominance right off the bat. These are great dogs, especially for those looking to protect your family. They will put themselves in front of danger to protect you. To them, you are 'part of the herd', and they'll do anything to protect you.
One of the best dog films I have watched, if not the best!!!!
Everytime i see this dog i only think of Hachiko. My chest... :,(
ah lovely shit. akitas are amazing being american akita or the akita inu. they are not agressive they are great with children its actually one of the strong parts in their breeding and they are so loving and loyal
My grandma has three akitas that only respond if you speak in Shawnee. Really interesting dogs
I have two. Extremely smart, affectionate, the best companions I could ask for. Funny too! They have a great sense of humor! We do everything together. I cannot imagine my life without them.
I'd love to have an Akita. It is all in how you raise and train the animal.
+Haley Pierce akitas are great at emotional support. but its usually to the owner and the ones closest to their owner. they will die to protect you or people that you show strong love for. others they willl not care for.
i was attacked by an akita when i was 2 years old, i got 400 stiches across my back and it almost killed me. but i fucken love this dog
Thumbs up if Hachiko brought you here.
Hachiko was an Akita . But I don't think he had any biting tendencies .
I think Akitas are cute just like the movie . What'ya Say ?
Akita can be very shy around strangers. Most of their aggression tends to be aimed at other dogs. This is often a huge problem. Owners should make an effort to socialize them from a young age.
fuzzyzombielove ur rite i have an akita dey need a stong owner i seen first hand the damage an akita can do ant trust me when dey get into a fight they will kill the other dog an i mean realy like kill it mines ok with bitchs but hates males
dhwanit005 Hachi was a JAPANESE AKITA. The ones with biting tendencies were AMERICAN AKITAS.
Wat about the blends alot of people say der the most aggressive
Akita's are knowen to be same sex aggressive so that is probably why your male dog does not like other male dogs
the dog in the beginning looks a lot like my neighbor's Akita, who I'm kinda scared of lol
My aunt had the GREATEST dog ever and he was an Akita. Tenshee was amazing
Adopted an Akita 11 years ago. She was 1 1/2 years old and abandoned in the streets. This was the best thing I ever did, loyalty and companionship was what she brought to me. Were best friends and bonded so easily. My girl is unreplaceable.
Hellen Keller was a big fan of Hachiko’s loyalty to his owner.
Hachi?
+Joseph Ivy no they said in the movie that he whas a akita
His a Akita
No, these are American Aiktas, not the original Akita inu from "Hachiko".
ok
Akita=Hachi
I love this dog breed so much!!!!!
My akita died just recently. She was only a puppy when I was born. We were basically the same age. Very strong animals and loving. As a puppy she would kill a lot of birds; since their breed is known for hunting skills. Love love love that dog and miss her so much.
This is my dream dog 😍💙
Britty 21213 I have one
My dad is from the akita prefecture and he really likes this breed. One time when he was just strolling around he saw an akita or akita inu he calls it with its owner. According to this vid, they're not very good with socializing....So what does my dad do? He just pets it and the dog doesn't do anything. Must have sensed that akita blood running in both of them ;)
wow imposter shibe? very stress
much anger such imposterous shibes!
Doge Wow such imposter (not you)
Doge hahahaha
Doge wow you imposter me!
He is family oriented and is very protective.
do akitas need a lot of exercise, I wanna get one soon but I live in an apartment and work kind of a lot
Mine is very aggressive when she meets other dogs...but they are awesome dogs if you're an awesome owner, hope it helped you :)
thanks both of you for your awesome insights!!!
I can tell you from experience that apartments are awful conditions to keep a dog like this. I had a beautiful Akita x Alaskan Malamute and it was very difficult because of their coat blowouts and constant energy (needing walks).
Look into it more before you do. It's a huge responsibility.
Ya walk them they need a lot of exercise and is a great guard dog
Dont get one you dont have time or space the dog will go crazy and you wont wanna see that !
Akitas are not aggressive I have oned two Akitas they are not at all the quit and lazy my first one died two years ago thow but I have another one that is sitting with me lol
They are made lazy by a owner who hasn't got the time for them :) much love XOXOXO
+Johan Kjeldsen Myhre Maybe, but I try to take mine on runs with me and she just lays down and stares at me, also her favorite activity is not running around the huge garden or parking garage, but sleeping in my parent's room.
They aren't made for running, but living with someone highly active. Walking over long distances. They are rough dogs, created to work. Not for beauty
The breed is known to be aggressive
@@melissadb1886 not true no more than any other protective dog ! With other dogs yes !
This is video about American Akitas not Japanese Akita.
HellFire well thats where they came from so
yeah, I only mean by money so i can pay for food, vet check ups, grooming, and everything a dog needs. space so the dog can have room to play and run.
Hachiko 🙁
Fun Fact: akitas are mostly known from the akita Hachiko
watch the movie u could cry
For me only Akita is the Japanese Akita those American Akitas have their blood too dilluted with other breeds of dogs.
Exactly
sometimes dangerously.
it's not actually true.. check akita history and origin, american akita and japanese akita. akita-dog.com is a great research website. you will find that japanese modified/improved in their opinion the breed in order to have a more slender body and certain coat patterns to the actual japanese akita. americans did not know about this plan and just crossed breed the existing akitas in america. therefore, it is thought that american akitas actually share more characteristics with the original akita than the modern japanese akita.
ahahhaah Japanese Akita are also mixed with GSD and Tosa
The Japanese are mixed more you dumbass. American Akitas better resemble the Akitas of old, modern day Japanese Akitas resemble Shibas far more.
What they said in that video is almost 100% opposite of what ive read about them...
Roku maybe because its American breed? and you here story from the japan?
+hidros16 not just Japan, in Germany it is also a bit different ^^ Dog training depends on the owner, I think.
Hachiko !!
Hachiko is Akita Inu. Most of these were American Akita.
pewpewpew because it's a show made in America for American tv.
tinkerbellp9003 What? That doesn't change a fact that these dogs aren't the same as that one in Hachiko.
They should have mentioned Hachikko
there seems to be... two types of akitas in this video. there's a difference between American ones and Japanese ones, right? Are the seemingly more "lithe" ones American (like... 2:08. it seems different, reminds me of a German Shepherd in its coat length) and the fluffy, broad head ones(like 3:15 and 2:06. reminds me of Hachi) Japanese? Or is it the other way around?e
the orange/white ones are Japanese, the brown/black/white are American
the american akita were mixed with other breed to increase their fighting abilities, or that's what I read somewhere.
HACHIKO!!!
yeahhhhh hachiko
Wow do massive giant shibe scary doge doges big cousin
EXCELLENT intro/summary. Like wolves, they are family/pack oriented. Early training, intense love and interaction is critical. Socialization is god, but they need heavy love and family interaction. Treat them like children. gentle but firm discipline- they understand a "no" the first time. Do not grind it in. They wer bred to be independent thinkers. respect that, and you will speak Akita.
I guess every dog capable of hunting a freaking bear is high risk for sure😂
hachico XO
Hatchi
R.I.P
Akita are stronger than rotweller
“Akitas shed heavily twice a year” lol. It’s like having a never ending snowstorm
I love my Akita so much 😍
Hachi :)
Where in this video is akita inu? wtf? American and japanese akita are not the same breed
Akita Inu? Do you mean the Shiba Inu?
Many ppl think that they are the same even thought the japanese akita inu was first and it only comes im two colours white and, white and brown.
But ultimatly they come from the same breed just two types of it and they are regarded as the same in many videos.
I have Akita Inu or (other name,Japanese akita)....American's think that Akita Inu and American akita are the same breed...
it's very annoying.....
and yes,I don't mean shiba inu....
shiba is a small japanese verison of akita inu...
#Hachiko#
I recommend getting this dog as a puppy
wow
such big shibe
vry identity crisis
That's not a pit bull 58 seconds in.
As always americans ruined everything they touched. I have hardly seen any Akita Inu-s in this video.
AtomSoBomb That's so ignorant and foolish i got no words. I can only get physical. And that can't be done over the web. So, please, don't comment on my post.
Rodjen Los What?... Ignorant and foolish...why don't you read your first comment...
Yeah, American Akita's :|
***** So countries are getting education these days? How did i miss that?
***** HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Well said ! Too many idiots get them for their looks but dont know the breed .
Japanese Akitas are better
Had an Akita, he was great. Miss him so much.
they are awesome, loyal and tough
WTF
My friend has a rescue Akita and it was tough at first since she wasn't well trained, but they put in the work and now she is the sweetest dog in the world. She has the tiger stripe patterning and looks half tiger, half wolf with a little bear thrown in 😂
