This is awesome to watch as an art director. A lot of times we don’t articulate the reasons or frameworks behind our decisions. Helpful for me to think through all this.
It's amazing how you share your experience in a few minutes and widen our creative perspective in ways that will last us a lifetime. The way you are able to bring together the things we see on the internet and give context to them so that we know how to use our toolkit is absolutely amazing. Thank you again and again...
Hey, just wanted to say I really appreciated how you included your sponsor. I've felt that creators can be so lazy, with a bit of effort you can better weave sponsorship in the way you have. So I really appreciate seeing the effort into ensuring that it fits into the video. I also believe it's one of your first sponsors on YT right? Congrats! I liked you showing us how you actually utilise the sponsor's product to create content that you actually use. It feels more authentic like "Ok, I can actually believe that yes he does use Artlist."
This is such a great question: I think I’ve directed a lot of projects but I can’t seem to show or come up with a portfolio for as a Creative Director.
Dope video! Love the HW piece for us visionaries that can get lost in the Vison stage that need to pause plan, and execute. Thank you for the dope content
Hi how did you build up and come across these pictures on cosmos, what do you put into the search engine, what's your approach to finding and building such a good library of reference and inspo picture please. Also love and appreciate the content
This is advice for beginners (or lazy intermediate-level photographers). For smart, knowledgeable photographers with more than one of two years of experience, most of the advice in this video is extremely obvious. Most of the photo examples given can be classed as commercial-style photography, not the type of stuff a typical amateur or pro does during an afternoon urban photo stroll.
yeah I state at the beginning its advice for everyone - but why wouldn't you take inspiration from the composition and execution of commercial work? especially when everyone is armed with an iPhone and probably most of the people watching this like basically any entry level creative now has a g7x or a fuji (or the trend of these gen z kids thrifting canon 5ds) - the whole idea is you get inspired by better stuff to start and work up
First sponsored ad that I’ve seen that had value with examples 👏
Thanks - tryna make sure i do this all right

Great question! I’d love to see this as well

When he mentions the arm that can extend to create the very high angle shots, can anyone link me an item like that or tell me what it is?
Tripod with an “arrow arm”
Love this! Thanks for sharing.
