I just got mine this week - it came with a black 12/8 prop and only recommends 3S. My ESC is a 45 amp. I've put a 12/6 APC speed prop on it and plan on running 4S 60C 2200's. I have come across a few people confirming the ESC failing on 3 and 4S, but I've also come across a few running everything stock(prop, esc, and motor) on 4S with no issues at all. I'm surprised to see everybody getting the 13inch props from HK when mine came with the 12/8 stock - what's up with that?
the stuff u complained about seemed like that u are a newbie to this hobby. the stuff was easy fixable, just hold a hairdryer from the opposite on the tail until the foam gets warm, dont do too long otherwise it will melt. when its warm, u can move it around. hold the tail still until its hard again
Hey I had problems as well I smoked the stock esc on 4 s even though I dropped the prop to a 13x4 I replaced the esc with a 60 amp burst 70 esc and on the next flight the motor locked up and the esc smoked due to bearing failure over loading the motor and esc so that's two escs and a motor about 70 quid at a guess I have complained today and sent pics we shall see what they do about it

It's a foamy what do you expect for cheap money get over yourself
I run mine on a 13×6.5 prop, 60 amp etc and 2650 4s lipo, with no probs.

Very interested to see what they say, let me know, currently fighting a PayPal claim with them
I maidened mine a few days ago and the esc blew mid flight, they're sending me a replacement, but it was frustrating none the less
did it fly?
