To people who think you need a CRT, let me help ya, you can buy a projector (720p) and it supports the ps1 resolution. Meaning you can play ps1 up to 200 or whatever inch and get maximum resolution quality You are welcome
Hey friend thanks for the message and info! Just a follow up to help people make an informed decision. Progressive: 256×224 to 640×240 pixels. Interlaced: 256×448 to 640×480 pixels. Those are the psone resolutions. So if you play on a 720p projector it will work! But it is not native. There are plenty of old projectors that will work. I have one in my room that I use and enjoy. Youare right you don't need a crt. There are plenty of options available today to get old systems to look great on modern hardware and I am happy to help anyone exploring this!
@@retrosarcade it’s a 720p projector yeah but like I said supports the original ps1 resolution 240p. Meaning it has a 240p output also. Which modern tvs do not.
Thanks for the clarification! Id also suggest people explore the Retrotink which allows you to connect any old console to a modern TV up to 4k without lag! They are flippen awesome.
@@retrosarcade I had one of them things and it made the colours and picture worse. No lag but yeah looked awful for me. At least I think we are talking about the same thing
Oh my god! I love this old style setup.
Thanks so much for saying that! It means a lot to me :) Hope to make a lot more videos for you to enjoy!
My favorite entry in the classic survival horror franchise was birthed by Capcom. Well, it's a tie between this and RE4.
You have excellent taste
spooky

@MMAproAtGOLF no issues with color on the tink! I've got one hooked up to my 4k OLED and it wiped the floor with my projector.
