I have had my 2 door Bronco BD for just over 3 weeks and I agree with your noise complaint complaint. the wind noise is much louder than my jeep. I own a 4 door wrangler and it is much quieter than my Bronco. The ride quality of the Bronco id hands down much better than my jeep but I have an after market 3.5" lift kit on my wrangler and it rides like a tank. Both of these vehicles have their own strengths and weaknesses and I do enjoy them both. Enjoy your channel.
Ok so it seems that every early production Bronco suffers from excessive cabin noise. I was supposed to get a 2021 but due to top issues, supply chain issues, I wound up getting a 2022 built in august 2022. I took delivery in September of said year. It’s a 2 door WildTrak. And I currently have 11,000 miles on it. Ford must have fixed the issue with excessive interior noise, cause I don’t seem to notice it. I absolutely love it. I also own a 1993 Bronco and cabin noise is probably a bit louder in it vs. the 2022. So maybe I’m just used to the noise. LOL. Loved watching your videos on the bronco, it gave me insight to what I may expect with mine. However as stated earlier, I think ford fixed most of the issues by the time I got mine. Thank You again for sharing your experience.
Damned it man. If a little wind noise bothers you, buy a Lexus. I have a 23 Badlands 2 door. Red as as can be. Very little wind noise. Some window rattle over larger bumps with the windows half up. Couldn’t even hear the motor most of the time. I put a Flowmaster Outlaw high clearance muffler and a piggy back tune for 60+ hp. Different vehicle. Like driving a fast sports car that can go about anywhere.
I’d like to ride in an early production one just to see how the wind noise is compared to mine. Interstate speeds it’s pretty noisy but besides that I don’t mind it too much. Mine was built in Feb of 22
Yeah It seems to be very hit and miss. Likke I said the Braptor was great! but definitely not my 2 door when it comes to wind noise. Thanks for watching dude
Wow, my 2 door BL SAS measured 72dB@70 and I think it's louder than it 'should' be. Granted, the measurement was off my Apple watch so not sure how accurate it is. I'd guess that the tires make up 2/3 of the noise. Can't wait to change em out!
@@gregthesplintercell Sold but got Heritage with a mod top (gel coated outside) about 6 months later and it’s vastly quieter. That 2 door - I needed to raise my voice to have a conversation at highway speeds. I think the new black mod tops will be a big win for Ford.
I’d bet the reason the noise levels on these is hit or miss is the attachment points for the front panels aren’t being adjusted properly at the factory on some. My 2 door is pretty quiet but I had to adjust the driver side panel because it would get stuck and was really hard to remove. The loud ones may just need to be adjusted to fit tighter. Could also be misaligned doors causing wind noise at the window seals. I think the design is solid just poor QC on the assembly line.
I have a four door Bronco and a two door Wrangler. The Wrangler has enough space for my wife and I, while the Bronco has more than we need. Like you I need garage space for another car so I will be selling the Bronco when it comes in. Good info. Thanks.
Thanks for your owner input, but I am going to be slightly critical because of some of your own admissions… you said you kept the 2-Dr Bronco over the 3rd Gen F150 Raptor for TH-cam views??? I guess I can respect the hustle, but… I’m not sure what packages you optioned for your 2-Dr Badlands, but I can clearly see that your roof did not come with the headliner. Some vehicles with the higher packages also included extra sound deadening. Mentioning any 2-Dr to a mostly optioned-out Rubicon 392 doesn’t warrant a comparison.
Hey man, how are you going about selling it? I would assume you aren’t doing it through any type of dealer. With the price of used broncos you might even make money on it lol. I think this might be a good addition to the channel is the process you go to buying and selling your cars. People are always interested in saving/making money on cars.
I don't know where you live , but you can't give them away here in Va. They suck. Pick-up a Consumer reports magazine and then tell me about how high they sell for used. No comparison to Jeep. Not even in the same league. A used Wrangler of any kind re-sales for almost as much as a new one. Compare and then yuck-it-up.

if you want the best ride and most space, get the 4 door. if you want something that feels more like a big toy and you don't need the space, then get the 2 door. That's about as simple as I can put it without making this comment super long haha Hope that helps!
I just got my 2 door wrangler, the trunk doesn't have much space and as I know it's not as comfortable as the 4 door. I took the 2 door because I don't need much space in the trunk, I usually ride by myself, and wanted to save money (2 door is cheaper than 4 ). Hope that's helps you
I don't mind the noise. It's a rugged 4x4. It is supposed to be loud and handle like crap. I wouldn't trust a truck that didn't. If I want quiet and comfy, i'll hop in my car.

I think the frame less doors make the wind noise worse at higher speeds

Had a 23 Big Bend 2-door and it was LOUD. I think I measured 89 dB at 70mph. Your typical crossover SUV (i.e RAV4) is low 70s.

Took a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch for a test drive the wind noise was horrible and unacceptable.

I sold my 4 door bronco because of how obnoxiously loud it was!
I got mine August 2021, so yeah very early build.
Maybe it was just the early builds but either way, crazy how loud the hard top is.

For a first time buyer of a jeep, should I get a 2DR or 4DR?
if you want the best ride and most space, get the 4 door. if you want something that feels more like a big toy and you don't need the space, then get the 2 door.
