I had to start charging cause everyone was making me homeless. no one ever made me rich. my money i made doing the work myself. every step of it from designing and printing flyers, passing them out, office work, field work, shop work, all of it all by myself. employees only ever caused me losses and health problems.
100% had a few bosses try make workers pay for fuck ups, soon as u stand up and say no they soon stop telling u that you have to pay for honest mistakes
depends on how much they want paid. If they want $50 an hour they can pay their screw ups. If they want you to pay for it then say you charge a $30 an hour insurance premium so that leaves them $20 an hour
Federal law says you can deduct mistakes from an employees wages as long as it doesn't go under minimum wage. Although every state has it's own laws. I'm in NJ and you aren't allowed to deduct mistakes from wages. In Texas you can.
