These slipper socks will fit an average female foot, but you can easily resize them to fit your needs. If you are making them for someone else you can find a link to measurements in the description box. These ones measure 8 in (20 cm) in circumference and 15 in (38 cm) long. Hope you enjoy the video! xx
I'm always excited when you release a new video, and this one was no exception! I've been busy making gifts for so many folks, it's time to make myself some of these slipper socks!
Good afternoon Roz and happy Sunday to you. Before I started to watch the video I thought it was a knitted sock in ribbing. This project is a slam dunk for last minute xmas gifts . I am sure going to whip up a few. ❤❤❤❤❤💯 thanks so much for sharing and have a great week ahead with the boys .
Thank you so much, Angela, I was really pleased with how they turned out and felt on the feet! 💕 Hope you have a great week yourself- the boys are full of beans as usual! 😹❤️
I was just thinking about crocheting a pair of 🧦 socks 🧦 today. Thank you so much Rose 🌹 for this simple and quick and beautiful tutorial 🙏❤️🥰 have a lovely Sunday ❤xxx
Need something quick and different after finishing a sweater today. I had this saved. What a fun project! Of course I’m 6’ tall size 10 shoe so, yeah 😂 For an average 10 regular shoe size, I used a 5mm hook-5 weight yarn-21 rows wide. I wanted a decent cuff so I started with a chain of 60 (59 chains long)
Hi Roz, Thank you so much for sharing…I’ll definitely be trying these. Your Kitty Cat 🐱 is too cute 🥰 God’s blessings to you and yours. Take care 🙏🏽💜😻🧶🎄🎅🏼🧑🏼🎄
Your instructions were so easy to follow, thank you. Could you recommend how to make a pair for someone with an average female foot but puffy ankles? I’ve only been crocheting for a short while and am not sure how to keep the general pattern but increase the ankle area a little bit. I could make it wider, but I’m concerned they will be floppy around the foot if I do that. Her regular socks are always tight around her ankles.
Gosh , that’s a toughie , I know . Increasing will be hard with this pattern since it’s worked as a square. The only thing I can think of is to make this more of a bootie instead of a full sock that goes up the ankle. Finish it to where it folds down below the ankle . The other thought, is to find a sock pattern that works from the toe up . You’d be working in rounds so when you come to the ankle , you can increase as much as you need . Sorry I can’t be more help. I don’t make a lot of socks so that’s the only thing that comes to mind ❤️🧶
If you’re using a different yarn weight , your initial chain count will be different. So ignore that. Just focus on the measurements from the beginning and make a rectangle that suits your foot and yarn type 💕

@@PlayHookywithMe Good idea, thank you
Will the rules of the stitches still apply if the yarn is not bulky yarn??

@PlayHookywithMe Thank you, i really appreciate how quickly you replied!!
How would these turn out if you use a medium weight size 4 yarn and possibly a 5 or 5.5 hook?
They would be great - it will just take more stitches and a little longer to whip up 👍🏻🧶💕
