That can't possibly meet WRCCA rules for the mini class (?) which makes the cost pretty hard to swallow. Great looking rig, mind you, and hell of a performer! 👍
that is a great looking build. but the parts are so very expensive; its one thing for individuals to actually fabricate the chassis, but the dlux parts are way too much. I think the utb18 platform is underrated, underused, and wish there were more parts for it from companies like hw, injora, etc
I always debate in my head The Ship of Theseus … at what point is this not the original vehicle? Changing the chassis? I feel CL should get the credit … it’s a CL Vehicle.
Looks bad ass! But I got a favor to ask Joe, I'm looking into a kinda off brand 6x6, it's the austar ax 6x6. Can get the chassis for 325 bucks, like over 500 with hard body, but I'm only interested in the meat and potatoes, any chance you can do a review before I pull the trigger on buying on? I can find them on eBay for most decent price. Almost looks like a Traxxas 6x6 clone. Be eternal greatfull if I could get your expert opinion on it. Thanks Joe.
Cool, niceky built, buts its upsized to basically a tenth scale small tire rig.

Absolutely love those wheels! Almost worth getting something to put em on!🤪😜🤷♂️
Epic!!!
You gotta do the Ramp climb thing you have before you send it back. And that Crack of doom climb. Oh Shewt.

The chassis kit is 100$...not so bad...well the Dlux parts are ridiculously priced, but that is not a surprise😁
You'll see dlux copies very soon for this. They're out there just not on Amazon yet
The one thing I would buy from DLUX is the knuckles and shafts. Everything else you can some good enough somewhere else.
That chassis looks like a shrunk brazin scale hilow.
They were the first, now everyone is catching on. They work so good
The utb18 stock front axle shafts are toothpick strong. I break one every run.
Proud to have CL DESIGNS as a BONE YARD sponsor.
Great products. Developed to conquer the hardest gate lines.

Let's try to put XMAXX tires on it and crawling like a real beast.
Whoa! Did I see that right on CL Design’s website? Just the chassis is $100? Ouch!
Dang the KILLR UTB18 gets no love 😢
Whats the wheelbase?

Save your money and buy the Traxxas the Austar was nothing but trouble
Bring back the scx 6x6! 1 could make anything outta the scx 1 & scx 2 classis
I messaged redcat and made a suggestion to maybe start developing a 6x6, even if it uses the ascents parts, still be a kick ass rig.
👍👍😁
