I LOVE this movie! My mom and I actually watched this movie and it's sequel last week for Valentine's Day cause we love the romance between Enola and Tewkesbury, we ship them. The first time I watched this film, I came upstairs to watch it and came right at the part where Enola and Tewkesbury are in the dark house and the creepy guy is shooting at them. I had no idea what was happening. When I did get around to watch it from the beginning, Miss Harrison enraged me so much I wanted to slap her (needless to say, Fiona Shaw does a great job acting, who also plays Aunt Petunia in "Harry Potter"), and Mycroft too, because he's such a jerk. There are three "Harry Potter" stars in this film: Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix), Fiona Shaw (as I mentioned), and Frances de la Tour (Tewkesbury's Grandmother, who played the giant Madame Maxine in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"). But I love Tewkesbury. Fun fact: (I'm a plant person, so I noticed this) Towards the end of the movie, when Mycroft refers to Tewkesbury as "That toadstool:" Toadstool is a type of fungus/mushroom, and you know from the scene where Tewkesbury is identifying the edible plants that he's an expert on mushrooms, so it's really not that much of an insult to him because he LIKES mushrooms. It's funny when Enola receives the "package" from Sherlock and Tewkesbury emerges out of it because it's homage to how she first met him: he was hiding in a suitcase. He has a habit of doing that. My brother hates it that Enola constantly breaks the fourth wall, saying "It's too Dora (the Explorer)." Enola and Tewkesbury are such a cute couple!
Emma Thompson would NEVER be in this because while she was married to Kenneth Branagh(the man who played Professor Lockhart), he had an affair with Helena Bonham Carter. The 3 of them never were in any scenes together in Harry Potter.

Emma and Kenneth had been married, but he cheated on her with Helena. Filming Harry Potter got dicey, with however-many of them needing to be specifically scheduled on different days for filming/rehearsal/etc.
