Do not insult huskies. I was thinking vampires.
Lmao

@FinAl_houR I love Huskies but sometimes their eyes do look like they are actually the reincarneted soul of an 1800's cholera victim.
The hate for brown eyes and the thirst for icy blue has always been kinda weird to me. It look good on people who have them but the reason it looks good is because it’s NATURAL. I don’t think you can have your own eye color not suit you and the guy saying he saw a “better version of himself” feels really sad. Why did you hate having brown eyes so much? 😭
Crazy and sad. Self-hate.
Self hate, and internalized issues regarding race. The first few seconds of him and that other woman reminded me of the book “the Bluest Eye”
It goes deeper than him hating brown eyes. He hates being brown *period*. Blue eyes are associated with whiteness, and whiteness is associated with prestige and beauty. That's why he felt like a "better version" of himself. He felt like a whiter version of himself. Very sad
The fact that it stems from the German (specifically hitler era) that “blonde hair blue eyes and white skin” is the purest person & people still subscribe to hitlers standard of beauty is crazy
because the world is racist to dark features and we act like its only an "AMERICAN PROBLEM" nooo its a HUMAN problem and even amongst blk folks there is self hatred
The people who had their eye color changed look like they're being held hostage and forced to say good things 😬😬😬
Exactly!!!😭
Ironically some of the 'eye colour's' they choose actually makes them look like they have something wrong with their eyes and vision😶, it doesn't look natural at all... but i guess they don't care as long as it makes them stand out . The levels people will go to purely for vanity and cosmetic reasons is mindblowing. I would never risk my eye health or eye sight so easily like that.
OK I'm not the only one who noticed 😅
😂😂😂😂 Spot on!
everyones eyes are beautiful, no surgery needed
Agreed!!! It seems to be mostly those with brown eyes and that's crazy to me as someone that genuinely likes brown eyes 😕
@@sinbient wish i had blue eyes but i dont like the idea of having fake prosthetics
I disagree.
@JesusLightsYourPath Funny that everyone always wants what they don't have. I have blue eyes and always wanted brown and green contacts to see what I'd look like. Green are my favorite eyes but I agree. We are all beautiful with what God gave us!
@@follielafemme yes…people are so self conscious in this society… you can tell people they’re beautiful all you want, but it’ll never be enough to get rid of the insecurities that society just feeds back into us as people waste their breath on telling us that we’re “perfect the way we are…”
'I look at myself in the window...er the mirror' - yeah because your eyes are so ruined you can't tell which is which!
😂😂😂😂
Hilarious!!!
So it wasn't only me who had this thought 😂😂
I have very dark brown eyes and my earliest memory is when I was a little girl, my parents bought me a pair of beautiful black patent-leather shoes that had a perfect mirror shine. And I remember I looked at myself in the mirror for hours admiring not just my shoes but also how my dark brown (almost black) eyes were as shiny and perfect as my black patent-leather shoes.
And every time my mean, racist, blonde haired & blue eyed relatives tried to belittle me for being “too dark", I told them I like my black patent-leather eyes. That shut them up faster than a slap to the face.
I hope my kid self’s comparison helps someone else see their own natural beauty and perfection too.
Aw that’s a good one! Patent leather is beautiful and I bet they were jealous.
Thank u for sharing. I love how your younger self was so confident 😊
Perfect answer.
Cap; they ain’t worried about your brown eyes 😂! And you describing them as blue eyed blonde hair, makes it seem you envy their traits and are projecting 😂😂😂
@@Yolk421 Ngl this is a strange thing to say to someone…
I once came home drunk after a Halloween party, and I forgot to take my contact lenses out. I went straight to bed. When I woke up, I was like “why can I see?!” 😭😆
Oh boy
What happened after?
😂😂
Dude my black selcra contacts left me barely being able to see they’re so big they cover my pupil if I look a certain way, they’re uncomfortable too, I wore them like 2 or 3 times and I’m like damn buying them wasn’t worth it
Right I once fell asleep accidentally with my contacts in and it was just a nap but when I woke up my eyes were blurry as hell I immediately washed my hands and snatched those contacts out
And the worst part is it looks unnatural like 99 PERCENT OF THE TIME.
Unless they’re going slightly lighter which- it’s spooky
Too, the isis implants don't have the color variation or depth of real eyes 😢😮😅
It's for better to wear contacts and just accept your own eyes
As someone who’s eyesight has been getting worse ever since kindergarten and almost went blind I cannot imagine leaving my contacts in for too long. People don’t appreciate things they’ve always had until it’s taken away. Be safe yall.
If your eyes are blue, you are associated with the sky and heaven.
If your eyes are green, you are associated with plants and nature.
If your eyes are brown, you are associated with animals and gemstones.
This is something my dad always told me about eye colors. No matter which eye color you have, it is beautiful and magical, and you should love yourself the way that you are. No one color is better than another.
Did he have one for gray eyes?? I'm used to hearing my eyes look cold and it'd be an esteem boost to hear them associated with something nice!

I agree. I will continue to wear my glasses for life too. My doctor tried to get me to switch to the hard contacts.I have astigmatism in my right eye. I said no. I want to keep my glasses.
Here here!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Yes!! I will never wear contacts
Yes! Hello there fellow "4 eyes" 🤓
I have steely green eyes and when I was pregnant, we were hoping our daughter would get them. But she surprised us (my husband has hazel eyes) with these deep chocolate brown eyes, and they are so beautiful and look so unbelievably perfect on her. Brown eyes are so underrated.
P.S. the way the headrest is sitting behind you, I thought you had the Princess Leia buns and that would be super cute on you
Can’t unsee the buns now lol
Brown eyed people be look like:🦌🥺🥹❤🐶
I have extremely dark eyes. Like brown-black. My dad has light brown eyes, and my mom normal medium brown! And I'm like, that's ok. Haha
The eyes after the surgery look soooo creepy. Like please ... if you want to try a new color sooo badly you are better off getting the colored contacts (even though they aren't that safe either.. at least it isn't surgery!!)
Yup!
Colored contacts are pretty safe depending on the material and care. I’ve had some issues but only when I chose to buy random cheap contacts or chose not to clean them properly.
I wear prescription colored contacts on occasion when I cosplay. I would say that colored contacts are pretty safe as long as the instructions that come with them are followed. I also wouldn’t recommend buying contacts from places like a beauty supply store or anything like that.
@@kgty1295right as long as you get them through and optometrist and follow the care instructions you can safely wear contacts it’s the people who buy from random online vendors or beauty supply stores that end up being screwed over
Both look funky and fake.
I don’t understand a permanent change with eye color. It reminds me of nose jobs, where unless you’ve been in an accident or have another medical issue, it’s the nose that fits YOUR face shape. I see so many button noses now on big faces and they don’t look proportional. Same thing with permanent eye color change. If you’re a deep soft summer/autumn where low contrast looks beautiful you’ll look strange with bright cornflower blue eyeballs. All eye colors are beautiful! Get fun contacts for fun looks but day to day, embrace YOURSELF!
Especially with all the medical concerns that come with It yikes!
Hello! Disagree. My nose turns my otherwise dainty features into a mess. It’s giving me such self loathing and will be the first thing I hope to work on. Ow. 😭
I am not anti plastic surgery but putting a trendy nose in your face when it doesn’t work with your features is far too common.
My optometrist had my files checked by the world's most skilled and revered optometrists because my optic nerves are extremely deformed in a way that had every eye doctor who has seen them completely horrified. Normal optic nerves look like donuts. Mine look like spiders. I had some of the world's best optometrists and eye specialists stunned and moritified because they thought I had stage four glaucoma at 7 years old. I was told from the very beginning that there was a very strong chance that I was going to go completely blind before I turned 18. I lived my whole childhood with the fear of losing my vision before I even got the chance to really live. 3 months before my 18th birthday, my optometrist (with the advice of many other optometrists) told me that they were fairly sure I wasn't going to go blind. She also let me know that because my optic nerves didn't degrade anymore once I hit 13, it was very likely I don't have glaucoma of any kind. I was just born with weird optic nerves. I'd rather peel all of my skin off with woodcarving tools than do anything risky to my eyes.
RIGHT!? same. I have perfect vision and am an artist. insane to me how young healthy people would play in their eyes like this.
I'm sad. I have perfect vision zero until I'm 39 years old. But I played online games so much they became 0 25 and 0.75, sobs. I'm cutting down games now and rest my eyes longer.
Vision is my most valued 5 senses

@@semerahpadi4484Most people become farsighted as they age around 40 so definitely you don’t have to feel like a minority it’s a natural occurrence and probably not your fault
I can already see, “eye-colour changing techs” coming out with this one and all the drama and lawsuits dragging along with it 👏😭
Don’t give them ideas 😂😂😭
Do people not realise how important our eyes are? To risk losing your sight to change eye colour is absolutely crazy
0:01 im sorry but her surgeon or whatever did her dirty... If i saw her i would RUN.
😢
yeah she looks like a daywalker but worse she's risking her sight. People think their bodies are like a car they can just change the parts. its crazy
I thought she was AI😭😭
As someone with HORRIBLE vision, I will always stick with glasses because I know I would forget to remove contacts 😂
TRUST & BELIEVE, you do not want to mess with your eyes! About 15 years ago, my eye doc talked me into trying clear contact lenses. (I've always worn colored lenses, so I can see exactly where each contact is). I couldn't see it, so it got stuck on my cornea. I thought I had just scratched my eye. 2 days later, I'm in the emergency room getting it off my eye. It had become adhered to my eye & turned into an ulcerative corneal eye infection - that fast! I've never experienced such pain! I almost lost my vision in that eye, Expensive, painful, daily treatments (for months) barely saved that eye.
It has never been the same. Migraines have been almost a daily nightmare as a result, & I'm still very light sensitive. Please be Careful. Take your lenses out every night & disenfect them completely, & swap them out regularly for new ones. Eye Infections can destroy your life for just one mistake. Please take care of your eyes. 💜
The expectation to wear contacts is so weird. I’ve had to refuse them so many times. I understand some people don’t like wearing glasses, but sometimes it seems that people don’t accept them in formal wear. As if wearing glasses is only for times when you’re relaxing.
I hope your issues improve, migraines are a bitch.
@Docypher Thanks Honey 💜 I've been wearing contacts since I was 14, & I'm 62 now. I was forced to wear glasses for 4 plus years while my eye healed. I was so unused to them that I stumbled, tripped & had the deuce of a time driving in them. When worn properly, contacts can be extremely comfortable & safe. It's incredibly important to take care of them, & seek immediate medical care if ever there is a problem. Lesson learned (the hard way). 💜
@@baronessboomer3865similar story, I was so used to wearing my contacts one day I decided to wear my glasses since I realized I had an unhealthy problem sleeping in my contacts and I felt like I was going crazy my eyes were barely adjusting to the glasses and it felt like a trip going to the store with the glasses, I felt like “is this normal?” It is. People don’t realize that wearing glasses feels different than wearing contacts, ur eyes usually like contacts more than glasses, since you can’t see with ur peripheral vision with glasses but with contacts you can, I agree! I’ve started taking care of my eyes more now. I’ve decided to take a break from contacts since I’ve run out and don’t have insurance right now and try and wear my glasses even thought I hate them
Licensed massage therapist here - there was a gal getting massages once a week who started to get headaches after 4 months or so after.
Her headaches got so bad, we thought it was the massage. Her MRI showed 5 pairs of contacts that slid to the back of her eyes.
Now, we’re required to ask clients if they wear contacts. And if they do, we move the head pillow away closer to the ears FAR way from the eyes 🙏
Did they slide to the back because she was rolling her eyes from the massage?

My question is, how the hell did she afford 5 pairs of contacts? 🤔🤔
New fear unlocked 😱 and I don’t even wear contacts!

HAS ANYONE SAID IT YET? THE SURGICAL COLOR CHANGE EYES LOOK SCARY!!! It doesn’t look like normal blue/hazel/green eyes, it looks super flat and completely covers up all those lines in the iris that make colored eyes so pretty! It’s like a flat wash of color which only accentuates the dark black pupil in the middle, making it look scary af! I wouldn’t think so if it was actually dimensional, with nice lines and details. But in its’ current state, it looks frightening! I would literally flinch if i saw them irl. But let people get it, so that dark brown eyes become less common. DARK EYES ARE BEAUTIFUL, THEYRE JUST COMMON. Also this video has made me feel so grateful for my 20/20 vision babyyy. If my vision ever weakens, im going straight to lasik. Cuz glasses look terrible on me and considering im the type of person to accidentally fall asleep in my makeup and skip the last 2 days of antibiotics, i would NOT do well with the contact routine.
This is all so accurate! Be careful about lasik though, maybe watch a few videos because it is a lot more dangerous than they make you think.
I was trying to figure out why the color always seems off and you said it. It’s just one tone. Nothing to accent it or anything. Like a cartoon
Naww, i will forever just wear glasses, I heard people go blind from lasik 😭😭 not to mention you have to watch as they stick shit in your eye !!
It’s always been a jump scare! 😂

I blame Tiny for wanting to look like Smoky Robinson .. she started this mess😂😂😂
I remember i used to want to get the eye color change thing after my friends said my brown eyes were boring and dull. I realized how dumb the insecurity was on something i CANT control. I love my eyes now. :)
(Also reminder TAKE OUT YOUR CONTACTS. I fell asleep with mine in, dont give yourself an Infection!)
I was born legally blind and I can tell these people that damaging or losing your vision for eye color isn't worth it. I have light blue eyes and you know what? I can't see them! What's the point if you can't even see the outcome?! I can never drive and it effects EVERYTHING in your life. Don't give up 20/20 vision for something stupid like this...
I got a corneal ulcer once - not from keeping lenses in too long, but from it formed after getting a major scratch on my cornea from a piece of sand that got under the contact. It was literally one of the worst pains I’ve ever had. I also couldn’t keep my eye open outdoors for multiple weeks because they were so sensitive to light. I also couldn’t wear contacts for a few months.
Don’t mess with it. It’s awful. Take care of your eyes.
When I was 10, I got my cornea scratched.
My eye was watering like crazy.
The doctor saw the tiny piece of leaf in it, and had to wear a patch for a week
He put some red dye with something that looked like a match
It didn't even hurt, when he did it
I feel like this was my sign to slop sleeping in my contacts… I know what y’all are thinking “wtf” it happens more than you’d think. You get so used to wearing them you kind of forget their even on your eyes. I also didn’t take them off as much as I should because glasses are so uncomfortable for me but I need to take care of myself and my eyes and this sounds corny but seeing this made me realize the things I take for granted, although I am a little blind naturally it could be so much worse, even with me forgetting to take them out sometimes I can still see colors and see things, yes blurry, but it could be so much worse. ❤thanks for spreading this amazing information! You’re seriously helping people!
I take out my contacts every night & every so often I just go with my glasses instead for a few weeks so that my bare eyes can go back to normal for a while. I feel the subtle difference so it encourages me to take care of them. Even more when I do things that agitate airborne debris or germs (gardening, car rides, house cleaning chores, beach days, hair day/styling)
I try to do that but I hate wearing my glasses so much it’s so uncomfortable for me and I hate the sensation it’s like a sensory issue for me I’m trying to do this thought since I haven’t taken care of my eyes and my contacts like I should have been
I use my contacts if I'm going to be out for the day. If I'm not going anywhere or just making a quick run....glasses. I want to make sure I'm giving my eyes a rest.
I've been sleeping in my contacts for years, and after watching this video, I will never do it again. Thank you hun. ❤
GIRL ME TOO 😭I FEEL LIKE THIS HAPPENS MORE THAN PEOPLE LIKE TO ADMIT I say I forget sometimes but it’s almost all the time, 😔I just hate glasses so much and forget to take them off but literally same, I’ve been trying to take them off more
Brit here. I have had high myopia almost all my life (-12 and -15). I have also been a contact lens wearer all my adult life, from 17 to 70. I followed the instructions to the letter, took them out at bedtime, cleaned them with a solution, rinsed them with sterile water, and stored them in another cleansing solution. I saw my optican once a year for 30 years, he did a great job with my eyes and vision.
Recently i havehad cataract surgery, my cloudy lenses were replaced with prescription artificial lenses. Now I have 6/6 (20/20) vision on both eyes. I do have to wear reading glasses but that is no problem.
Take heart, if you follow the instructions, you could wear lenses for a long time. Look your eyes, whatever colour.
I have blue eyes and my kid is biracial with beautiful dark brown eyes. I make sure that she never hears from us (or anyone we have any say with) that her eyes are anything other than stunning. We knew that she would have no chance of blue eyes when I was pregnant and I set everyone in our lives straight not to contribute to society’s weird praise of light eyes. I don’t ever want my baby compromising her eye health because society told her she wasn’t beautiful enough.
So, you had an "eye colour" talk with people re: your unborn baby, because the praise for light eyes is that real out there😏 oh-kay!
My son is bi-racial. Iam white, blonde hair, blue eyes. His father is black, with brown eyes, kinda hazel looking. Our son is the spitting image of me. He’s 14 now, has blonde hair, blue eyes. Thankfully I never came across anyone saying light eye colors are the best.

When I was a teen I started wearing contacts all the time and never looked after them like I should. I would wear them way too long (even after they start hurting) and sometimes even fall asleep with them in. My contacts were thicker than the average persons because my prescription is so strong so I should have been doubly careful.
Well one day I could barely open my eyes they hurt so badly. They were completely red and they ached. Light sensitivity was set to 100. I went to the optometrist and after doing the exam he said I had 3 ulcers on one eye and 1 on the other from overusing my contacts. Im absolutely blessed that the ulcers never formed over my pupil area and were instead off to the side more. Had it been over my pupil It would have permanently messed up my vision and created a foggy area. That was when I was 17. I switched back to glasses and even now at 30 I can only wear contacts for short stints. Any longer than an hour and I start getting pain.

Wow, people are doing too much. I KEEP SAYING COMMON SENSE HAS GONE OUT THE WINDOW. Uhhhhh chilllle.
Fun fact: Those with brown eyes have better vision and can see more colors than people with colored eyes.
Brown eyes have more melanin which projects your eyes from sun damage just like melanin in your skin so your less likely to suffer from eye conditions
That's simply not true. Brown eyes are generally less sensitive than blue/green/grey though, making it easier to deal with bright lights.
@@MusicalK93 If you knew how the eye works and why light is correlated to seeing, then you would know it is true. The iris is like a sphincter, which helps with light entering the eye, which in turn affects vision.
@@sbielec30 Eye colour has nothing to do with how good your vision is, or how well you see colour.

Surgery or colored contacts= looks weird. I can always tell.
Years ago I told another brown eyes lady how I dont like blue eyes for a variety of reasons.
And she responded surprised, her mother used to say the exact same thing.
Apparently im not the only one being tired of the blatant favoritism of blue eyes.
Blue isn't prettier. Its just an eye colour. The reason why so many prefer blue is the problem. Because it has a lot to do with colorism.
Each time I have a slither of hope for us as a species, I witness or hear of a phenomenon that strikes me with a cold, throbbing despair.
Didn’t they once make contact lenses that you could sleep in? Or, was that a marketing lie? I think they’re called extended wear.
Eyes shouldn't be changed. Light color people are born with blue, green, grey, and hazel as dark color people are born with dark brown eyes. NO ONE SHOULD BE CHANGING EYES! Be yourself.Blue and green eyed people! DON'T CHANGE YOUR EYES.😊
Eye colour is not specific to dark or light color people

Well, in my family, we are light brown and dark brown and we have blue eyes gray eyes hazel eyes. It’s not about the skin tone. It’s the genetics.
Ummmm you realise that eye colour has no correlation to skin colour??…how can you explain heterochromia then?

I was born with heterochromia, one eye brown and one blue. I have ALWAYS loved my eyes and being different and would never consider changing either one. ❤
Well no shit that's exactly why people are doing it. They want to be different too
As long as you have good eyesight, that is good.
@@phantommah8042Sure, but mine are natural. I wouldn't risk blindness just to be different.
tbh that's actually pretty sick. i wouldn't want to change it either lol.
Hello Queen, all Praise to The Most High for ALL of your informative content. You are the Queen of FACTS. I simply binge watch your channel. May The Most High continue to Bless you Queen. ❤😊continues
I took a nap with my contacts in once, maaaan i thought somebody rubbed sandpaper on my eyeballs, after that, I started taking them out AS SOON as I got home
Same! I took a week off wearing them after that because my eyes hurt so bad I was walking around with eye drops. After that I now carry a case so I can take them out when they get uncomfortable
I have big doe dark brown eyes and I always thought they were pretty until I started dating my partner who has the brightest green eyes I’ve ever seen. His whole family has pretty blue eyes so he was already special among his literal sea of light eyes, so when his family met me you could see their… disappointment. Like all they cared about was pumping out more light eyed babies, rather than us being happy together. Oh well.
TAKE THEM OUT 🗣️
First year of having contacts I was in college pulling regular all-nighters, sleeping in my contacts and continuing to wear them to class. BOOM! ULCER. Pain, drainage, redness, swelling, itching. Switched to my glasses and went to my eye doctor who said he was so glad I came in to see him when I did so I could keep my vision 🥴
I used to wear gray contacts in high school. I stopped wearing them because I didn’t like the attention. Looking back at photos, I looked crazy! 😂 I love my brown eyes.❤
I agree with this topic. I dont seem to understand why people want to do anything with their eyes , or let anyone do procedures on them . Their are websites like solatica, ttdeye, etc who actually have realistic eye contacts
I have wearing glasses since I was 5 and so many people ask me why I don’t wear contacts and honestly they scare me and now I’m even more scared
Same. I'm also hearing bad stories about LASIK
I cannot tolerate my contacts being in after 4 hours idk how ppl are just leaving them in lol but on another note European beauty standards got the ppl in a chokehold 😭
As someone who went blind after a “emergency surgery, it’s going to make your life so much better” and to wake up two days later and can’t see myself in a mirror or even my phone. Since I was 17 I was told I will never go blind multiple times before. So to wake up at 21 and legit can’t see anymore not do to any fault of my own. I can’t emphasize enough how hard it was to come to terms with the fact that this is my life. I couldn’t imagine coming to terms with that it was something I was doing to myself. 11:13
P.s. these comments about looking like a scary husky dog 😭🤦♀️😭 my left eye is blue and my right is blue green 😭
Maybe in the year 2075, when ophthalmic and vision science is at its peak and error-free, I will change my eye color. Risking your sight for beauty isn't worth the pain! Just wear contacts safely! All my siblings have hazel and light eyes, and I have dark brown, makes me happy!
Why would you change it though? I’m just curious
I once took a nap with my contacts on, when I woke up I tried taking them off but because they were clear contacts, I couldn't see them and nearly scratched my cornea trying to remove them. I now use colored contacts in order remove them easier but would never sleep with them on.
Your cornea is like a camera lens once it's scratch it's permanent.
I just love this woman day by day 😭💕
Reading the comments how bad all the brown eyed ppl who got their eye color changed…man yall were not over exaggerating even a lil.
They really all went from looking good/normal to straight up horrifying. Ffs I can’t believe they think they look better like that.
I had a friend in college who often wore colored contacts and I always thought she looked so much better with her brown eyes.
I’m so glad I’m content with my brown eyes.
When wearing contact lenses, you MUST take them out every night, even if you have disposable contacts. Years ago, in my early 20's(over 30 years ago) I used to wear "extended" wear (clear) contacts. I was told I could wear them for 2 weeks and sleep in them. I got a cornea infection. I still wear contacts (disposable)but I still take them out every night.
Man I wouldn’t change my eye color for anything. I love my hazel eyes. They turn green when I cry, they have little spots of black/dark brown and look like gems. Natural irises have so much depth and so many colors, even if you think your eyes are only black or brown or green or blue.
The most beautiful soulful eyes I’ve ever looked into were my grandparents my sister’s and my man. They all have beautiful brown eyes 🤎 and my fav eye color brown is so pretty and underrated
Of course you wouldn't want to change your eye color because your eyes have colored to them lok
I feel that it's so sad that people feel they need to change the colour of their eyes to be regarded as beautiful. More representation and more diversity is needed so we don't pay these scammers anymore money.
You bring the best topics. Topics that I have researched already but getting your insight is amazing.
I am a very vain person. The “beauty is pain” type, but nothing not even my wedding will get me to stop wearing my glasses. I don’t trust myself to take proper care of contacts, and the downsides of lasik are too dangerous for me to ignore, even if they are rare occurrences
My friend's son had to get cornea transplant after someone kissed him on the face by his eye when he was a baby - and they had a cold sore. The virus went into his eyes and damaged his corneas so badly, he needed a transplant. So, those cornea transplants sound kinda creepy but without it, some people would really b in trouble. So, look after your eyes, and agree to be an organ donor when you pass! (Also, don't kiss babies if you suffer from cold sores!)
Someone kissed me while they were still healing from strep throat. I got severe pharyngitis, with a 41°C fever. I survived. Some kids would have convulsed at that temp! I was also kinda kidnapped by the neighbours who kissed me. At 1 yr old!
17:37 stop playinggg! 😂the insanity omg 😳 this definitely tops my week 😭WOW
I worked in a day care..I never slept in my contacts however one morning i woke up and had lost vision in one eye. I could only see colour. After freaking out i got ready to go to urgent care. Within a few hours the vision in my other eye started to blur..I couldnt see anything but blurry colour. I was terrified. I waited at urgent care and was very lucky that an eye doctor was visiting a patient in one of the wards. He came to see me and asked for a particular test to be done which came back positive.
It turned out I had a fungal infection in both eyes. It was an infection similar to ringworm. Working with kids ringworm is quite common however very rarely does it happen in the eyes. Id obviously caught it at work. Had the doctor not been there that day its possible that by the time it was realised that it was this particular infection i could have completely lost my vision. It took 2 weeks of blindness before i started to regain some vision and around 3 months when it returned fully.
Needless to say i no longer wear contacts.
I recently learned I have a genetic disorder that is causing me enormous pain and damage to my vision. Over time, it can lead to blindness. Health is a privilege. Don’t squander it.
Maan I stole my sisters contacts once. (Shut up, I was like 13 lmao), and went to a friend's house. Realized I didn't have saline, her mom gave me some. The next day, I went to put in the contacts and they burned so badly and I IMMEDIATELY went blind. I was blind for 3 days. Smh
Turns out the saline was like 6 years past expiration lmao
