Toe-na-paw is how to pronounce Tonopah.
Sound like native American
Let me add to that correct pronunciation: the accent is on the 1st syllable. There is also a Tonopah in Nevada. TOE-na-pah.
@@Chinemeremdozie AZ, NM, most midwest states are Native American.
I stopped at that gas station in March 2023 to fuel up. I recognized the 🦕. Was going northbound from Las Vegas. We did go through the Colorado mountains.
Trucker Josh, you should take Route 66 instead of interstate 40 to support the local businesses and not the big bad highway that killed all their business. That used to be a very nice road and it still is and I think you should take it.
Thanks for all of the footage going thru the towns! Love eyeballing those places! And I have to appreciate and point out your professionalism, too... The way you present your best self and company to your customer is top of the line, Josh! 👍😊
Nice road trip Trucker Josh. Thanks for taking along. Take care and drive carefully.
Havent checked this channel in probably 8 years. Good to see Josh still at it. Is Diesel still around?
Been a while since I've watched your videos. Good to see you and glad you're still trucking 🚚
Never drove through that part of the country thanks for taking us along good stuff my friend!!
I always preferred hitting the road early. (3-5 am) and then being parked early, but I guess you are on the other end of the scale.... all good though. Parking for everyone. I would be vacating just as you pull in...lol. continued safe travels.
You are correct there is a longer growing season the more south you go warmth and sunlight let them grow bigger.
Yes Josh - Gambling is not for me either... not money wise - just don't enjoy it and don't have the urge for it..
Walk instead - burn excess energy and get rid of the frustrations of daily driving
Welcome to colorful Colorado (again!) so glad you got a chance to visit!
Yes, hello to our fellow Canadians eh! And hello to our American friends! Great trip! Thank you Josh, for letting us ride along:)
Well now, started off with rain, drizzle and fog just like in Newfoundland and now the sun came back the further south you went, the sunshine and blue sky will be back in St. John’s Newfoundland by tomorrow
Good day, eh?
I eat the same omelet at IHOP. Nice that you went through Colorado. I live in Colorado Springs. Been following you for 3 or 4 years before you met Brit. Not sure how many years that have been.
I remember 1 time when you guys got snow somehow in the middle of summer
@@Chinemeremdozie well we had snow in late June 2018 in central Newfoundland so idk if that’s what your talking about
Trinidad, CO is 6000 ft elevation, 45 degrees is beach weather for them.
morning from the UK 🇬🇧 public holiday here but I'm trucking delivering liquid fertiliser, plenty of overtime
I remember when your beard made you look like a wild bush man.
I hope ya got the address correct and it’s
Not
Supposed
To
Be Tonopah, Nevada 😂
Safe travels Josh , nice to see you somewhere different
🤣🤣 I realized there are two after I posted that lol I got the right place
I’m very impressed that you take an occasional walk!
This will help prevent any blood clots in your legs from forming!
Your videos are fun to watch
There was a crash in Norwalk, CT. A tanker carrying 8500 gallons of gasoline erupted into flames underneath an overpass. The fire caused severe structural damage to the overpass that the bridge had to be demolished. Interstate 95 had to be closed for three/four days and traffic had to be routed around. It was on the national news. You may have heard about it?
One thing I do know, is it in Arizona you will find a cactus
13:15 those are cherry blossom trees. Beautiful colours and smells of spring.
You ate correct, weeping cheery.
I always choose French toast but not anymore after seeing those hugh fluffy pancakes. WOW !!! That was a big omelet too. I wonder if those neighbor's wonder why is this guy walking alone (no dog) down our street. Hahaha don't see that now days in rural small towns. Great video entertaining change 😉 Safe travels Josh 🙏
This scenery is amazing. So sad you lost your home time videos. I enjoy home time. Love the pictures of Theo.
Your trip I enjoyed that I’ve been down through there a long time ago till next time
Trucker Josh. Cross continental W900 . Fantastic. Mick London
Josh, a fantastic trip, I did a few of those southwestern states I really enjoyed the scenery
Nice truck stop in Albuquerque enjoy the trip, I envy you
Great video Ron
I was just at that Route 66 casino / RV park for 3 nights in my RV on the way back to Ontario. You should have went in, there are 4 restaurants and one of them had an awesome $19.99 steak dinner with baked potato and all the fixin's
Next time!
Never thought I’d say this, living in Santa Fe, but I hope you enjoyed my home state. Glad you had the opportunity to pass through NM. stay safe, cheers!
In warmer weather I drive with my camper from TX, either up I-45 to Salida KS and west to Denver (visit my daughter & family) or up to D/FW, then west thru Lubbock/Amarillo to Raton and up I-25. Both are lovely drives with good highways. Then I head on up into the mountains for a week or two of camping and fishing. I always find the trip up relaxing, the trip home a chore. Mental difference, I suppose. Either way, I stop to visit my Mom, now 101 years old, in North TX.
I believe that companies head office is in around Quebec somewhere
oh you were wondering about U.S. Dams well the US Corp of Engineers builds and manages all the Dams that are funded by the US Government.
Good for you on that walk Plus you did it at a mile above sea level
I didn't realize that lol. That's way up there!
nice seeing different scenery. Looking forward to the next one when you drive through Phoenix... I lived there for 25 years.
Josh, To-No-Pah. Dale
Another enjoyable vlog. Keep up the good work.
Hey Josh, greatvideos keep up thr great work, after seeing the pancakes and the rest of your breakfast I think you should've probably done 4 miles 😅😅😅
I would drive around the lot a few times then park. Then move if I saw a better spot so the pooch didn't have to walk on asphalt to much. Drove my wife crazy. Lol Gotta take care of my pooch.
It is called Tone a paw
That casino has single deck blackjack. Best game out there. I used to run Chicago LA and back every week that was a good stop when I felt like gambling once in a while
listen to the song willin by little feet it is a 70s trucking song
I was a little disapointed you didnt take I25 down to New Mexico, that would have given you a view of the mountains on your right .but still enjoy your videos
Limon, like it has a y in it.
Don't remember any Palm trees in New Mexico, just plenty of Cactus.
Meanwhile in Arizona:
Road Runner: Accelleratii Incredibus
Wile E Coyote: Carnivorous Vulgaris
Trucker Josh: Toughest Truckiest!
Lol
Ahhhh hahahaha 😄
ALL of my favorites right there!
I can not believe what I was watching at that Georgia welcome centre truck crash . It’s unbelievable. If anyone hasn’t seen it look it up . Why the heck was he going so fast ? It’s so sad
You are doing ok 👍 my friend
I have been a owner operator for a while and I know you are doing okay 👍
Glad to see you spread your wings a little. Truck looking good
Keep up the walking, Josh. It definitely helps with weight control, and overall health.
Nice trip Trucker Josh. Sure hope the rate is good for you. I can't truck right now because of a cataract. You and Trucking with Schmidt keep me out there by default.
So cool seeing you go through Rocky Ford and Trinidad places I have been and worked at!
Hi Trucker Josh never been to Colorado my husband when he was Driving his semi truck years ago he has been to Colorado 3 times some more nice scenery on the way to Arizona Limen Colorado looked nice were you stopping at the truck stop nice day for a nice walk some nice scenery at the boarder to New Mexico it's at night but really cool this has been a really great video get some rest and stay safe and God bless 🙏😊
Boy, there are a lot of windmills in Colorado, both sides of the interstate 😮
Toe no pa is the pronunciation. My neighborhood!
LOL you wouldn't like to know it, but you drove exactly on this special, small stretch of highway (71) where every year, there's a big tarantula migration in the fall. I go whenever I can because I think it's fun, but I'm pretty sure I recall you're an arachnophobe.
😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😧😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨😨 💀 💀💀💀💀
O.M.G.
I just Googled it......😳😳😳😳 .... I should NOT have done that!!! I was walking around there, probably feet from a bunch of these things!! Stuff of nightmares! 😆.... I'm so glad I didn't see one.... they probably saw me though!
@@Trucker_Josh 🤣🤣🤣 Come on, they're friendly and slow! I bet Old Blue squished some.🥺And then you went to Arizona, which has something way worse, that a nice tarantula would kill and eat for you-- the "Arizona giant desert centipede" 🚫🚫🚫🤮
As a native of Colorado I'm not sure why you would want to take i-70 to get to Arizona I-25 down through Albuquerque is your best bet
Yea prince is from Montreal
Some very nice little towns there in CO. The weather looks perfect!
I’ve always heard it pronounced Tone A paw by the Area 51 rider!
You are not to far from Wolf Creek Pass. There is a song about the pass that’s pretty funny
I like watching your videos. I can't wait to see the day when you pull into a truck stop and actually stay in the same parking spot
😆
I just came down from the 40 from Winslow I visiting family on the Navajo Reservation. Back down to Buckeye Az. I believe you have to say the h in Tonapah.. Safe travels down the I 17 there is construction getting close to Camp Verde. and getting close to Phoenix.
Josh its pronounced tonopah like paw. .safe travels. driver
Nice sights, nice trip. I hope the rest of your trip goes well.❤
A casino!!!!!!!, remember all the times you gone to the casino in Moncton New Brunswick, now those casino days are over for you for now
Tonapah. Is pronounced Toe nuh paw. There is also a Tonapah in Nevada. One of my Alma maters rivals.
Lie - men (limon). So close to me!
That is a very nice sleeper on that Atlas truck, maybe has a bathroom?
Josh, driving through my home state of Colorado! (BTW, Limon is pronounced Lime on)
Well, the fact is you’ll make some of it back right so sounds better than nothing
One more day!........hope you get a $$$ reload.......Sleep well
🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴
Check out that wheelbase
Stay safe
Nice scenery trucker Josh. Thanks
Prince is based out of Montreal , I do believe .
Josh it is pronounced Tone-
o-paw Arizona. It's
not spelled like
that Tonopah,Ar.
Josh, I live in Tucson Arizona, unlike the way it is spelled Tonopah it is pronounced Ton-a-pa.
Hopefully I get to see you when you get here
according to the googles( like you used to say it ) it's pronounced toonou-pa 🤷♂. this trip reminds me of the good ole days pre Covid longer trips, missing the lord of all weasels though 🥺
Thanks for another great video !!
Tonopah is said like tone-a-paw.
Just like in Nevada
Living the good life Josh!
nice ride along thx
Awesome possum!
Life is good Trucker Josh.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, buttermilk pancakes, my favourite pancake to get at ihop whenever I’m in the states, there’s also a ihop in Halifax Nova Scotia, the closest ihop to Newfoundland, at least we have a Denny’s in Newfoundland tho
Thanks for ride trucker.
I believe so
Trucker question... I see they have very small electric (corded) Power Washers these days that give out enough power for power washing a truck or car. Wouldn't it be better to have something like that with you instead of waiting in lines and spending a bunch of $$ and still not being happy with the job that is done? Plus you can do it yourself during downtime and enjoy the clean truck more often. Just wondering what you think?
And let’s see what you get for a reload. I’ll be interesting.
No, that would be the last place you want to end up in the mountains specially, with no change that would be a bad idea without chains
the 4 years I've had this truck ive averaged 9.3mpg
Is that miles per US gallon?
that's uk imperial gallon I think
Stay safe.
I never heard crook colorado yet I'm 5th generation in pueblo colorado
I always hit the Lie & you also have a Fellow Canuck in Georgia Lol
tone-a-paw
Hey Josh! It's pronounced tone - a - paw
Or I’m guessing you could wash them when you get into Arizona
Tone-A-paw 😃
Tow - No - Pah
wish i liked pancakes but i don;t. but the omelet looked really good
