Dale and Roy had beautiful voices. I watched them every time they were on tv. I got a Dale Evans cowgirl suit in 1955 guns and all. I'm 72 years old I still have the top. I wore those boots everywhere I went. Except church
I begged my father to get a Dale Evans cowgirl suit in1955 guns and all, too, TheSarahbeach, believe it or not, LOL! I'm 72 years old now, too, and I just loved both Roy and Dale so much! Dale could ride and shoot, even though she couldn't fight like Roy! She also wrote the song, "how do I know, the Bible tells me so", and Mother let me play that record until it wore out, and both Roy and Dale quoted scripture on the shows!!! 💞
Same! I’m ancient, I remember when Jean Harlow died! They always reminded me of my grandparents from my father’s side. They dressed like them and had a beautiful sprawling house in Arizona in the 40s. I don’t remember them taking about their movies but they certainly listen to Dale Evens and Roy Rodger albums when I was young. Grandfather died in 1964 (60 years already how time flys! Nana passed in 1978 and I miss them both so much!
Dale Evans and Roy Rogers will go down in history for being the best singers and performers of all time, taking trigger, their dog bullet and dale and her horse all the way to the Golden gates of Heaven! Thank you very much from the bottom of my soul. Wonderful angels of God, thank you so much for sharing souls. ( God bless you people forever and ever!!!!!
He was truly a WONDERFUL PERSON. I loved him. And Trigger. When I watched reruns of his TV show from the 50s, I laughed and cried. What a sweet representative of how to live a GOOD life!!
That is an Awesome Tribute,Thanks ! We just moved to Southern Ohio from Central Illinois in March . Our home here is 10 min. from Roy Rogers boyhood home. Been by it a couple times ! In Portsmouth, Ohio about 20 min. South of where we live is The Flood Wall Murals. 2000 ft. Long Flood wall with amazing murals painted about the History of Portsmouth. One section has a painting of Roy Rogers on Trigger !
Growing up, my mom played all the Roy Roy Rogers and Dale Evans records, it's so wholesome and beautiful. When she passed away, me and my sister did a video montage of her to Happy Trails.
Anazing how much talent Roy and Dale had. Man, with that voice, Dale could have done anything!!! And Roy's demeanor just brings a smile to one's face, and he might have been the best yodler who ever lived. What wonderful people!!!
❤OH, MY HEART! GREW UP WITH ROY, DALE, TRIGGER, BUTTERMILK, BULLET, NELLYBELLE (pat butram....forgot his stage name, oh no. I AM OLD). The 1950's was a magical time to grow up for kids .......tons of cowboy tv shows, superman, mickey mouse club.....oh sigh. ANYWAY, very greatful to have grown up then & it's still fresh (mostly) in my noggin'.....Lots of happy memories! HAPPY TRAILS TO ALL and GOD BLESS...😊❤😊❤😊
I love them ❤🤗 I feel like a kid again. Those were the days of separations and hate on blacks but a spot of love was there. Shows like these were medicines to my soul.. We didn't have all that chaos like today. Roy, Dale and others. I miss them all. We had more of these shows and less disturbing commercials and news. I miss them. 😢
Roy, and Dale gave me, as a lad, and millions of others, many happy saturdays's at the Bijou theatre, They represen, ted what wholesome people should be. as examples.
This is so awesome to see!!!!! Thank God for modern technology & for my very special life now. I feel right there with them now. GOD Bless You D. Always.

I love Glen too, They show many of his goodtime hours show, yet they took off the one with Jack Lord and I never knew why. There is only a short clip sining one sea shanty now.
Back in 1957 or 58 Roy Rogers brought Trigger to Georgetown hospital where my mom worked and I got to see them! They were there to entertain sick children.
Sounds like Glen was suffering from a bad cold in this clip. But it may just be the audio quality. Still, nice to hear Roy Rogers and Dale Evans singing. Pure entertainment!

Roy.
Played 19 instruments. Perfect pitch. Wished I were wealthy the day the museum pieces were auctioned.
He is a big reason why I'm who I became.

They are entertainers. We don’t know their life.
Saw many of their films back in the 60's at Saturday matinees. We'd clap, yell, laugh. It was wonderful.
Roy, and Dale gave me, as a lad, and millions of others, many happy saturdays's at the Bijou theatre, They represen, ted what wholesome people should be. as examples.

🌈🤍WHAT A WONDERFUL PROGRAM! I DIDN'T REALIZE, WHAT A BEAUTIFULLY, STRONG VOICE THAT ROY HAD.
AWESOME!!!
Started his career as a singer. One of the founders of the Sons of the Pioneers. btw, Ken Curtis also was part of that group.
"Song of The Bandit" was another great western song written by the great Bob Nolan of Sons of The Pioneers fame!!

I agree with everyone praising their beautiful voices. I could listen to their music for hours on end. Beautiful souls now singing with the angels.
Have you ever seen Glen Campbell play his 12-string? He was awesome!
What I would have given to have these two wonderful people as my Mom and Dad.

Somehow the HAPPY TRAILS SONG WAS NOT SUNG! 😢
In this video, Glen looks just like Ronny Robbins, Marty's son.
Her voice was still so even and sweet. Why didnt she quit when her vocal cords lost it. It was so painful to watch her then.

EEE Y YIPPIODA YIPPY YODA YAY ..... AND THE GUITAR LICK AT THE END
