What did Oldham do with all their winnings from their fa cups 1990 final 1994 semi final 1995 final my dad would be rotting in his grave seeing how far they have fell since those days he was an avid oldham supporter
I recorded this on VHS at the time as a 10 year old and I'm not a fan of either team. If I knew then that 30 years later it could be uploaded in full and watched on the internet I would have kept it lol
He was correct, they didn't with anything with kids, they won with kids contributing.Without Keane, Irwin, Bruce, Pallister, Cantona they would win nothing
If they looked after themselves and had the coaching and sports science of later teams these would be unbeatable! The character and determination was unreal
"It's hooked back in for Hughes"......flipping miss John Motson so much R.I.P you legend
What a fucking volley it was 🥲
Good old Sparky.. what a saviour ❤ One Love
I miss these pundits and the early premiership years
I’m totally with you
Yep totally agree 🥹
Football back then was great 😊
I think the foreigners were bigger names back then proper international star's. Or am I just day dreaming?
Football was more exciting and less tactical back then.

Yep I think that too, JW Lees family was it that run the club then?
They reached the League Cup final in 1990, and the semi-finals of 1990 and 94. Nothing in 95.
It's not like it would have been life changing money for the club.
Small fry compared to today's TV revenue etc.
Shame to see Oldham where they are now.
Oldham have never been to an FA Cup final mate
Loved the old Wembley stadium, the new one doesn't get the same atmosphere
Jimmy Hill really was soul of football. He did so much for the game.

Great goal by sparky saved United's double, Jesus where has 30 years gone !
I know scary mate
It's gone by very fast . I'm nearly 50 FFS 😭
@MrChrisBarker 51 in August lol .2nd knee replacement 2 weeks ago
Brooking and Motty....classic combo
Only went on and won the DOUBLE
1994 Oldham Athletic shirt was quality
I was thinking same thing, soooo good for its time and would be a good shirt today
One of the proudest days of my life and to this day I still can't stand Mark Hughes! Heartbroken lol
Hughes’ last minute volleyed equaliser was 🔥
From the days when the fans, pundits and commentators all contributed to the enjoyment. I even paid attention to what Jim The Chin was saying (RIP).
Jim fair play lol good man gone
Alan Hanson is the OG football analyst.
I wish we had pundits like these guys today 😊 now we have C Morrison and company 😢
I was there that day.
The premiership breakaway was the worst thing to happen to English football. Sucked the life out of small, local clubs which are the soul of the game
Listening to the fans how class back then before the game up the reds
the punditry was a lot better back then, even with Mr "you will never win anything with kids" Hansen there
He was correct, they didn't with anything with kids, they won with kids contributing.Without Keane, Irwin, Bruce, Pallister, Cantona they would win nothing
Horrendous challenge by Henry on Ince. Which makes it a fair tackle 😬😬😬😬
This 1994 Manchester United team better than 1999
not at all.
Hard to make that argument when the 1994 side was knocked out of Europe by Galatasaray.
