  • When I started the rebuild of my Rangie close to 4 years ago after my travels around Australia, I wanted to document the process so I had something to reflect back on and be able to see some of the weird and wild things I did in my youth. I think as time goes on , it’ll be a nice reflection on a time i tried a little harder, pushed myelf a littler further and ultimately go on to chase a passion in pursuit of mastering my craft.

    Love your build mate. Some people just can't understand why we love Range rovers and land rovers, it's just something that finds you i think. I have grown up with a father who absolutely loved British 4WD's and i think that just rubs off on you as you grow up. My 5 brothers and I have all had Land rovers and Range rovers over the years and have some great memories from our time exploring in them. My Dad passed a couple of years ago and left us a 1991 Range rover CSK, one of only two in Australia if i am correct. I wish I had the money to get it restored by someone like yourself but we have to let her go. Let us know if you know of anyone who would be interested. She is No.145 of 200 in the world. Get the videos coming. All the best, Mick

      My Dad worked at Lode Lane Solihull factory for many years;
      maybe that is why I now own a 1991 manual 300tdi (engine transplant)
      (and a L322 with the BMW M57 engine), I wonder?
      I dream of owning a CSK, but their rarity and therefore their cost here in Europe means that it will always be a dream, I think.

    Brilliant build . . . enjoyed watching it. Best RR Classic going for sure! Great you’ve been able to get 70K miles on it since completion.
    Did you share the BFG shoot on your channel? Might have missed it. Would be cool to see if not.
    Thought you’d mention the repaint . . . that even traumatized me! (And seem to remember you doing that with the one arm in a sling.)
    When you make it to the US you should have a meet-up. Would love to see your truck in real-life after watching the build virtually. My ‘72 S3 coiler with 300/380/230 and RR axles isn’t ideal for long journeys but I’ve a Series 80 and 7.3 Excursion that are always up for a road trip.
    Many thanks for taking the time to get your RR content out!

      ahh yess, the paint, something i certainly should have mentioned - it's traumatised me enough that my brains naturally shut it out of my thought.
      I certainly plan on getting over to the States so when i do i'll definitely make a point of reaching out! Be cool to do a meet and great!.
