Parts of this reminded me of Alan Partridge when he’s trying to make small talk with his builders 😂
“See the match?”
“Which one?”
“Dunno”
😂
@@bender6942 ‘appen he thinks im a right indecisive tit
@@HighPeakAutos😂😂😂😂
@@HighPeakAutos I've got access to the kids but they don't wanna see meeee
"I've got a girlfriend, she's only 33... Cashback!"
Looking forward to seeing this driving again on the road! I'm very impressed with the dedication of the chaps at Transformotion, they are doing a fabulous job!
what a job so far well done the lads at Transformotion
You are saving lovely old Range Rover Matt well done 👏👏👏⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍
Hi Matt,I think it's coming together.when it's done it'll look fab.keep up the good work.
Needs a “yeah” counter for how many times Matt say it 😂😂
We need to find a new phrase for the intro to his video's
Hahaha I noticed it now😂
Yeah.
yeh@@LoveMusic-123
quality Matt keep the great content coming top lads with skills they are ! and love the down to earth documentary style filming adds so much realism to the videos superb
Unbelievable. I never thought this could be saved. But it’s looking a lot better already. Can we add subtitles for the next sequel, please? 😂
Please. I cannot understand these two at all.
These boys are doing a great job! Can’t wait to see you driving it👍🏻
I think it’s great you’re getting this back on the road. The lads are doing a great job.
This is amazing, those lads have worked wonders with this car❤.
A great video. Love the link between the two channels. Nothing wrong with a crossover. I do love this and the earlier Range Rovers. Glad to see this being lightly transformotioned into a working runabout
Excellent Matt. Enjoyed that.
You mentioned the narrowness of the Rangie....given that it is a 5 seater roomy car, it is far better suited to UK roads than the current models.
I seem to remember mine having the spare wheel mounted on the near side of the boot.
Love the work the lads are doing at Transformotion - all with good banter and no little creative skills when needed. Be a joy to see this one back on the road
Great content as usual Matt! I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing this Classic back on the road. Nothing like a MK1 Range Rover 👌
These lads are brilliant. Lookig forward to the end result.
let the massive overspending begin 😂😂
I had a green Vogue SE 92 K reg we had the green velour seats the leather wasn’t nice and soft to sit on so went with Velour instead
Good honest video. These two guys are great. Honest, down to earth and we all know scousers are likeable.
For a couple of DIYers the lads are on a good learning curve, slow and steady turning a sows ear into a silk purse.
I've come across a few rotted rear ends but good fronts from where people have reversed boat trailers into the sea from ramps which might be the case for your motors IOW first home.
This is amazing! It's like watching a car get reborn from the ashes (or in this case, a lot of rust). You guys are putting in some serious work, and it's gonna be incredible when it's finished! 👍
Looking great can't wait to see it fully finished
The fellas are doing a great job going through this motor.
You’re in safe hands with these lads they really know what there doing guess that’s why you picked them great work and properly ❤
The English language spoken without moving your jaw. Amazing.....😂😂😂😂
Hi Matt love watching your videos. I had my Defender done at Mahker Shropshire and they did an amazing job on mine. I don’t know if you watch their TH-cam channel but it’s worth a look.
Keep up the good work.
Niiiice! I have an '82 2-door, but it looks to me like you actually should have airconditioning.
Mine has it and the way you can tell is it has the extra ventilation openings in the dash.
Unless they all got those openings as standard later on. Good job so far!
Great to see it coming along so well 👍
Any doubters in these lads ability just need to checkout the rear axle area… it’s looking fantastic.
This is going to be fantastic and I really don’t think it’s going to be the old ‘I’ve massively overspent’ either!
When I was a boy, I got taken from Norfolk to Worcestershire in a three door Range Rover 1970’s how lucky was I !
Not been in a Range Rover since…
They've done a good job as always and you seem pleased with the results 😊
This is coming along lovely it looks really smart underneath. Well done to the lads
Aww Matt! Full Resto needed please!🙏
Think of the content & the views you’d get, not to mention a cracking Rangie! Pleeeeeeease!❤️👍
My parents had the older model in RED and loved it. Drove around Australia with them in 1985 and was flawless. My dad currently has a 2002 Discovery 2 red diesel with 87,000 km. :) bought from new.
Matt I’m looking forward to seeing her on the road. 👌 will be another one you’ve nicely saved
I have used Froggatt's 'Easy on Panels' on mine. I highly recommend them as they a good fit and reasonably priced.
Great job so far well done boys
Enjoy that channel, they do good work. Don't always understand, but still enjoy!
The range rover will be something pretty nice when it's done
I think we owe HPA a big thanks for putting us onto this cracking channel. I love a RR & this is like crack to me. Cannot wait for more ❤
I think this is therapy for you. Always good to see a project through Matt.🤫
...."although I have over -spent massively on this one"! 😉
Looks like a good job!
I remember from my K reg the spare is on the passenger tyre is on the passenger side and there was a sub woofer on the other side. with a small speaker coming out of it at the top along the shelf side of things.
Another great video really enjoy these videos and yourself great creator
DLS are a great company to get LR-RR parts from. Used them all the time when I had 2 RR-P38’s.
Looking good lads, can’t wait to see the end result 👌🏻
Keep the teddy bear fabric seats if you can! - waaay more comfortable than leather both in winter and summer.
Always my favourite but not available anymore. Sad.
That will be a nice car that when it's done Matt. I had a 89G 3.5 Manual Vogue cracking car and simple to work on I used to work at a Land Rover dealership in the late 80's as a technician. Also if you weren't silly with the throttle you could get the mid-20's mpg on a run. When the lads get it running ask them to pressure test the cooling system as the heater matrix are prone to leaking as most of the interior is out. It's a 6hour job so your half way there I know I've done loads of them🤨
YESSSS been waiting for this one!!
I used to use my discovery to launch our boat, off its trailer. Not surprisingly it helped the rust no end. I wonder if that RR was used in a similar way.
Amazing. So much work....
Absolutely fantastic. I love it
A little known fact but Holmes Chapel is also the home of my uncle George. Small world or what? Also, good to see Scousers putting wheels on cars for a change.
😂
Who else is thinking 'massively overspent' but... 😊
Couple of great lads, love the down to earth way they get on with it(could do with sub titles😜(joking) ), definitely gonna follow them.
What a great job!
We have the same Range Rovers. Not only will you find yourself grabbing the keys to the RRC, you will start finding excuses to go for a drive. The RRC is truly a special car.
Like a modern version of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", but with an old Range Rover. Looking forward to seeing how this ends up.
Great video Matt.....but I've got to say it really reminded me of the scene in I'm Alan Partridge when he's talking to the builders and wearing a hard hat with 'Boss' written on it!!!!!!
😂😂 I was just doing a cockney walk
@@HighPeakAutos I've got a hat hard on, I mean I've got a hat hard on....I've said it again! Shoot me in the head with a massive gun!
He’s so out of his depth, reading the age of tires and brake disc condition is his limit, I’ve just completed a restoration on a classic Range Rover 4 years work and 12k but better than the day it left the factory, this is defo not a restoration
@@Sirisa40he said a zillion times its not a restoration
Sure, it's not an as-new, concourse-level restoration, but given the state of it when they first got it, the lads are doing a restoration on it, but the best kind of restoration; one that means it'll get used and driven. The lads always blow my mind because they make these things look so easy and they're always so chilled out about things when I look at some of their projects and think it'll be a nightmare.
Great jobs lads but the most impressive thing on here was that Matt got a parking space on the sainsburys/costa car park 😂 normally queuing out on to road there.
My home town😂, you could have called in for a brew👍
Great dialogue here. Cracking video.
This is great. Just that I can already see the massive overspending for this restoration 😁
Great video again
Very cool!
Ask them how Man United did on Sunday. I had to put subtitles on to understand them.
My army Landy is 2 years older than yours, have a driven original Range Rover does make mine feel really agricultural lol look forward to you getting it back on the road 👍
I marvel at the skill and expertise of these guys, i wouldn't have a clue!
the boys are Great mechanical geniuses , when I first saw that range rover I thought it's too far gone , I can't wait to see it Finnish 👋🚙
So regards the trs outputs, can these be split into 2 mono outs to enable say snare and bass assigned to 3 but then split to 2 mono channels to go into mixer. This would in affect give you 8 channels.
I used to work for a Shower Screen business based in Macclesfield in 80's and both bosses had these style range rovers , both ended up with chevrolet V8 Blazer engines in and wolfrace turbo vane wheels ..... nice ps they started out as van type version imported from France, they were used to tow a shower screen display trailer to B&Q , WH Smith Do It All etc after I passed my test which the company arranged I was handed the keys and let loose in them 😀
That old range rover is taking shape those 2 guys are doing an amazing re build 😊
Yes they are!
Genuinely in better condition than my car already, can't wait to see how it turns out
Great Lads😊
You know that sketch Alan Partridge did, involving some builders?. This reminds me of that.
awesome video
When my mum drove the same model in RED 4 door she had "Mean Mother" spot lights on the front :)
Should come and see us we have bloody loads of parts for classic RangeRovers
You’re a good man Matt
I work at a Range Rover classic specialist so if there’s any parts you can’t get hold of or any advice give me a shout
Matt struggles with others on the video. It’s not just these two, it’s all colabs he’s done. His energy and confidence drops.
seems like a normal interaction to me, people trying to discuss the project but also doing for audience not just a private conversation
When I was a Traffic Police Officer I used to drive this model/ year of Range Rover. They were a great go anywhere vehicle.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Right.
Very nice !
👌👊 very nice ! ( doing similar project..)
Resurrection as opposed to Restoration?. Great viewing as always team. Thank you for sharing, always a pleasure 👍
Aw wow! Holmes chapel is only four miles away from me (Middlewich) - I'd have popped over to say hello if I'd known.
2:02 from here i only understood Matt 😂
Looking forward to you floating about in this.
Me too
My old 91 model 3.9 se had a rotten lower portion of the bulkhead, all my previous older models had good bulkheads, as they say ' go figure '
Mat. Take all the bits you have to the boys. They need to see what they're working with.
The look at the camera when you said “plain sailing” 😂😂😂
Feel sorry for the mickey mousers bet they’re thinking When is the nerd going back to Stockport. So we can carry on ripping him off Ha ha.
"I have over spent" alot is coming 😂 Matt seriously good stuff its important to keep history alive!
at least it has still got a National Trust sticker
Excellent, well done boys. Still not sure why Matt wants to get it back on the road 😅
Just down the road is Jodrell Bank Observatory..the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world. Another one of those same time tomorrow.
A target for putins missiles
Great to this Range Rover coming together. I would love a 3.9 in metallic green automatic before they all disappear
Hi Matt you will have to get your hands out of big pockets to pay for this one . Matt favourite phrase massive overspend on this one is coming
An ex colleague of mine Geoff Taylor has his own RR Classic shows it regularly around the Manchester area TJA972X
I enjoyed that I can't wait for the range rover to be modified to its original condition awesome work matt
