After my mom passed, my dad extremely generously took care of my 2 sons and I. When he got sick, I took care of him with every ounce of strength I had. I lost him a few months ago. Our parents house now sits empty. My brother and I can’t bare to sell it. Yet, can’t afford the upkeep either. I would literally do anything to have my parents back. I’ll never understand people who put money before their loved ones.

We're facing the same thing. Was so glad I was able to keep dad in his own home until the end after mom died.

Money wasnt the issue the husband only wanted soemone to look after his wife and thought his son could. not realising the type of person he had become. honestly this doesnt just apply to eastern culture but even western culture aswell do this.

As a grandparent I would not move into a 2 bedroom house with 2 parents and 3 children.

For example: I'm from Greece it's a first world country and a house/apartment in an island with 5 bedrooms will cost 700€ in the mainland will cost 400€ and in the capital city will cost 1200€ ( no furniture + parking space) "incloud tax"
The same situation in New York will cost the least 10.000$ and in L.A 7.500$ + tax

New York and California are the most expensive places to live in the U.S. In Mississippi for example, you can rent a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house for 3.3k. 5 bedroom and 3.5 bathroom for 2.6k. I'm sure there are even cheaper places in Mississippi or Kansas too! There is an unhealthy mindset in the US that you NEED to be a millionaire to make it, when that is blatantly not true. It seems you need to travel a bit more in the US because having only references of Cali and NY is pretty laughable.

My FIL brought my MIL when I broke my arm and had 2 babies. She snuck out 6-10am for breakfast. She left for hours to go to laundromat while I hung up laundry 😢for 2 babies w/1 arm and baby on my back. My ex came home a.m. drunk and she went psychotic on Me and I snuck out w/babies and diaper bag and left in car to be homeless w/my babies🤬. I remembered to bring their costumes because it was Halloween and by God they were going trick-or-treating👰🧛

It depends on the garment for me. Pants I can wear a few times before washing, shirts I wash after each use, and undergarments are def a one time use then wash.

This story started to get confusing in understanding who was speaking or being addressed.
The provided caption started becoming a mess with several misspellings.
Where did grandma sleep in that two bedroom house? Grandma would have been better off staying in her condo.
Given Emma's attitude, it doesn't seem possible she owns a salon. The attitude she showed at home would have been the same one she'd have at work.
The son was even worse, not remembering things or knowing what's going on.
The prospect of cohabitating with five individuals in a two-bedroom residence appears daunting.

The problem with these stories is the plot twist at the end is always the stupidest shit.
She left a condo to move into a dirty, 2 bedroom house, so no room for the kids beds. Who'd want someone to move in with you like that. Though the kids deserved a better meals, a clean house. Those poor kids, became her carers and cleaners. Just so fake and so gross. Worst story ever.

Suspension of disbelief is required in most cases of fiction. It is a feel good story and very unlikely to be true given the events the characters and circumstances, any mother in law with any kind of financial power in such a situation would have handed that daughter in law and son their @sses long time ago.
I love my son and DIL. I’m doing fine with my husband right now so I have no reference to start from to give an opinion.

You're only 68 years old and healthy there's absolutely no reason at all for you to be living with your children and putting them through that just because your husband wanted it doesn't mean you had to do it now it's time for you to travel and go do everything you've always wanted to do. It sounds like living with them was the only way to connect with the Grands and get the down low on the son and daughter in law.
I've already got my daughter and SIL"s number by all the times I bought groceries, made their house payment and paid bills even though they made triple in salary to what I made. They always paid back SIL's parents. Never paid a dime back to me.
