    It is sad to see people berating or belittling Team Japan for this match performance. As a fan of their team, I admire that their young and inexperienced players are in the process of learning and improving little by little. Absorbing the pressure and adjustment on the international level. Meanwhile, Poland is always a strong team and very experienced. It is expected that they'll win. Congratulations Poland.

      Still it shows that Japan doesn't have a very deep/great team. Poland played their worst players and still cruised to the win. Japan just isn't on Poland's level, just imagine if Leon played.

      It’s not about belittling, more to criticism i think. i admire how the coach is brave to put their young players to play against such a great team. the problem is, their performance was inconsistent and they lack of confidence on court without their main players. they could’ve play better and put up a better fight if only they play more consistently. i saw how good their pace and performance is when nishida was on court. it was just honestly disappointing as a fan to see them playing like that. i hope they can get better for Olympic though

      I must say since Iran started beating strong volleyball teams last few years, the volleyball is much more interesting to watch. I also love when teams like Japan can beat top teams in the world. Another interesting team is Slovenia with which everybody has to be careful. Too bad Germany plays a bit worse this year.

    This wasn't a terrible game in my opinion. Japan did make many mistakes, but they also had good rally's. I also don't know if I missed something but I haven't seen Nishida play in a while, so I think he did well. Poland is a hard team to beat, because their serves are so hard and hits are insane. Overall both teams played hard, but Poland played harder. Congrats to them on the win.

    i must say this poland team has a strong and deep reserved players, even if it is a mixed of team a, b or c it can play at the highest level and kudos to their coaching staff. The japan team on the other hand was intimidated and not on thier usual play. Even they are not the first six they should step up thier confidence and level and don't rely and complacent only to their star players on bringing up their game. there are rooms for improvement until olympics and they will build on that. Don't hate me guys. It is just my point of view and opinion.

  • @freddyhsu

    As a Japan fan, I must say this match is so disappointed and painful to watch. There’s no rallies only Poland score and finally Japan got a point then serve error! MB Takahashi played 2 sets and none of his serve has went to Poland side, literally none! If you can’t get jump serve successfully, should try out jump float serve! Fukuzawa, Takanashi, Otsuka all have the issues that they’re afraid of the blocking so barely hit with power and mostly tip, they have single tactics and not versatile spike. The only good thing is finally could see Nishida plays. I really don’t like Japan coaches that once facing strong teams like Poland, Brazil, France, Russia you only choose all 6 bench players. This is not the match you could have experiment that whom could qualify for Olympics, at least to put some key players mixing with bench players to gain the experience and learn from the strong teams especially these strong teams are also in Olympics!

    • @arthurlipinskii3813
      @arthurlipinskii3813 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      The coach can’t do anything about it especially stronger teams so why not play your reserves(for experience) . Plus avaoiding injuries too, Olympics is coming and they need full strength and healthy players. look what happen to Nishida. He’s just slowly recovering, he’s not 100% healthy (that’s bad news) what if something happens again(hope not) … give them rest and let reserves play. They are not even in final 4. In standings they’re in top7

    • @freddyhsu
      @freddyhsu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @@arthurlipinskii3813 You’re missing my point. We all know VNL is a long tournament and players should take turn to play the match, so yes need to let main players rest and avoid injuries. Japan could let bench players play yesterday against Germany, and use main players to play today because Germany won’t play in Olympics but Poland will. It’s not about winning or the final ranking of this tournament, it’s about learning and gaining experience from strong teams and also Olympics opponents.
