Superb cinematography! What an awesome spot & stalk scenario that you played out so well. That is some of the most awesome terrain you have to hunt there. Miles and miles of open range holding some fantastic bow hunts behind every tree! As an old old bowhunter I can appreciate your desire and skills. There's nothing quite like a bow hunt where the blade is needed later. 👍🐗🐗🏹
Awesome video guys. I'm a Kiwi have lived in Auss for over 30yrs now and I could barely understand a word you said - a real thick Aussie accent. Pity help those from Europe or America - you should put subtitles in for those lads!! Philip
Don’t change anything with audio/cinematography. I have pleasure of hunting hogs in USA Mississippi delta and this video had me checking prices on flights. Just superb, honest story. Thank you Sir!
Hi guy enjoy watching your video just found you on here I'm a kiwi over on NZ and would love to come over and have a hunt You never seem to worry about crocodiles? Are there none in the area you hunt ? Do you hunt scrub bulls and Buffalo too?
Nah mate just Bowhunt Downunder for now, will be alot of IGTV films coming up from past hunts that I haven't filmed with Jerry similar to the couple that are on our IGTV now.
using the sun on the 2nd boar and waiting for right angle on the first and not moving when their heads up, basic hunting stuff plus camo breaks us up with back ground as well
There is crocs in that country, but where this shallow early season swamp is we are pretty safe, dries up quick and hasn't been a croc sighted there for the last 20 years.
Ive been stalking pigs in water recently but only about 1/3 of that depth. Not easy. I like when they put their head right under, gives you good time to get nice and close.
Great video and filming. Great scenery. One small thing though, ...the sound was not good and you talked in an Australian mumble. Try to speak slower and clear so the rest of the world can understand. I think some of this problem was the personal microphone attached to your collar.
went back checked vid on Phone and via computer and TV, apart from our accent which i know we talk a little quick all seemed fine, but will take on what you said and try and slow things down
Its an early season swamp mate that dries up quick, not saying they can't have crocs in them just haven't known of one to be in this one for the last 20 years.
I see you using 4 flexifletch vanes instead of 3 , any particular reason? I am currently using 3 flexi fletch at the moment ,but iam interested in the opinions about the 4 vanes vs the 3 . Great video footage ! I look forward to seeing a few more in the near future.
Gives me a little bit piece of mind knowing I've got the control with 4 over 3 specially when using 2 or 3 blade broad heads with a bit of surface area with the smaller vanes. Gives me a little extra if i need to nock tune and they still shoot fine out to 30 if I drop a vane.
Except people like me click on videos like this because we want to see and hear the hunt; that is, we want to experience it vicariously. We feel music ruins the experience. (That is why I'm not going to subscribe.) How do you know there is not a croc in there?!
Over here we generally only eat young fat pigs we shoot, and they are mainly off cropping or improved country. The Pigs in this part of the country are chopper shot or poisoned to control numbers as there is always talk of disease outbreak , We generally target the mature boars on this hunting concession while other hunters new to bowhunting we encourage to take out what ever they can up here on this concession to also help control numbers and gain more experience quickly as the numbers are so high, Remoteness, location and high daily temps and flies make things tuff to hang and keep meat in this part of the country, even most of the beef needs to be tenderised with a mallet to eat as good feed for them is only seasonal plus there is no hang time. Fuel for generators, and solar are the means for keeping fridges and freezers going out here, 7+ hour trip for fuel truck one way, solar will only run so much unless u have huge expensive system. So all in all pigs are an introduced invasive species over here, we take and eat what and we want and when we can plus keep our dogs fed well, Eagles, kites and hawks along with crows and dingoes benefit as well.
Adam Greentree... as always ive been leaving comments everywhere an i hope you see this but I've saved up a lil bit an well you know the deal only 10 grand so far but would love to give it to you for one hunt brother if its not enough lmk an ill reach it ill sell my fucken truck if i have too.
Wow this is like the best bow hunting cinematography I've seen! Top job!!

Ha! You should be a Texan AND have hearing loss. Crap I can barely comprehend the accent. Maybe if they were to try and speak MORE CLEARLY?
Brilliant Film as always.

Thanks Wayne, and Yes the property is producing more and more mature boars

Thanks for your feed back, good to hear you liked the film.
Hey boss, kudos for stellar stalks! Just curious round abouts how close did y’all get to ‘em? Looks like about 20-30m
That eyeball shot is a piece of genius filmography
@@jaybrendel486 yeah around the 20 mark i

Awesome mate, can’t wait👍 you still hunting down south?
Hey mate what kind of camera were you running ? Those close shot of those boar’s were amazing.
Sony a7 with Sony lens
Amazing - they were able to cover that open ground without being seen and kill those pigs!
pigs eyes arent the best, their nose however ... amazing
using the sun on the 2nd boar and waiting for right angle on the first and not moving when their heads up, basic hunting stuff plus camo breaks us up with back ground as well
@@bowhuntdownunder314 That's great advice! Now to find a wild pig foraging in a large pond so I can try it out... ;-)
@@bowhuntdownunder314 On that note do you guys do guided tours for bowhunting?
@@loyal2no146 sorry for late reply but Yeah I do Mate, Pigs and deer

It turns out that pigs are actually native to Australia.
