I am a 70 yr old who hunted the Grand Slam of Australian deer... but didn't quite get there (Reds), NZ and North America along with far western NSW for two decades.. I am a stills & video photographer who worked professionally as a film & video editor, and was a senior contributor to Aust. Sporting Shooter for 15years. I am telling you all that so you know who is saying this: An absolutely fantastic job in capturing our country and the spirit of hunting on the red soil fellas. It took not only a lot of work on the ground, but in the air, & post production to produce this masterpiece. This is right up there with the best hunting videos I've seen... and I am very picky. Amazing stalk & patience. Subscribed with great pleasure & Ozzie pride. That was a monster Rusa; makes mine look like Roe deer! Onya!
Wow. I don't think I have ever been as impressed by a short hunting film as I was with this one. This is cinema quality. You guys would be hard pressed to find competition in a film festival because you would steal the show. Keep up the great work, you earned a sub!
What a post ! So fascinating. I’m a hunter myself , I don’t do blogs but watch a lots of hunting videos. Your post been the most gripping like watching your favourite movies you don’t like to miss a second of scene. It’s not just hunting, the photography, videography, the presentation and most of all the narration was outstanding . Such a work . Good on you and keep it on. Cheers
Absolutely beautifully presented Brad and Jerry, this has been the best Australian youtube hunting film I have ever seen. The cinematography, story telling and music was just superb and very inspirational. I really enjoyed watching the stalk and wait at the end I think i actually stopped breathing for a while!! Thanks for sharing and I look forward to whatever you Guys produce next! Cheers Jamie
Absolute bloody ripper of a video guys. Excellent stag also. Unfortunate not to get him 12 months earlier, he looked sensational with that drop tine. Hands down one of the best hunting videos on TH-cam fellas. Well done on putting together such a great story.
Thanks for the feed back finally got a chance to go back over some of the comments, and good to hear you enjoyed the film, 18 days and nearly 3 hours with in 25 yards of him on 3 occasions before I finally got the shot definitely made for a memorable critter. He was a couple of inches shorter and missing the drop tine but happy to accept that looks amazing on the wall but was tuff to eat .
We need more of this in the hunting community. This is the kind of film that will gain traction with the newer generation keeping them involved, unlike what we mostly find on t.v.
What a fantastic film about Bowhunting. Congratulations. It is hard to put on film how hard it really is .The ups and downs. But when it happens, after everything that goes in to it ,Wow!!
Thanks Erik We enjoy what we do and have always filmed hunts so we're progressively getting a little better or hope we are, good to hear you enjoy the films
