Amazing tutorials man, this is some real gem and I love your style haha. Serious Man in a black suit wearing sunglasses with kawaii desktop noises and miku in background. What a guy
@@dressuprecords8356 Actually yes! Im not sure if its video material, but Im lost on making a standard cover using Vocaloid and I cant find any guides that make sense to me. I dont have the first clue as to how most people go about making a vocal track cover since Im trying in my v5 program and cant manage to get the first thing to sound remotely close to the original song.
@@dressuprecords8356 Ohhhh wow, thank you!!! Its a Japanese song; Garando actually. I wanted to make a full Len cover of that after Sekai released their version. Im brand new to Vocaloid software of course, if I can get a handle on it, theres a lot of covers Id like to make ^^
This is cool and all, but do you have any tips on how to make these effects manually? My PC can't run anything higher than V4 and that doesn't have the automatic attack/release
I've been trying to find a tutorial for tuning in Vocaloid 4 cause that big green box is just so weird and confusing to me. Are there any that you would recommend?
i don’t know if this account is active anymore; but could you make one for piapro studio? (specifically v4x?) i recently bought mikus v4x bundle and everything i do sounds terrible imo
question I know this video was from a year ago, im just curious cause I remember having that option with the lyric settings but now I can't seem to find it
I hate to break it to you, but the reason most people use vocal synths like Vocaloid and UTAU is because of the slightly inorganic sound. Oh sure, SynthV is a lot smoother and can generate your tuning for you, but it’s by default very flat and emotionless, and difficult to edit unless you forego the AI altogether and just use manual mode (at least, in my experience). There are many Vocaloid users who can convey emotion through the voicebank they use, such as Kyaami and Rev.
have you tried getting some 3rd party voicebanks? they usually sound way better than the ones that come with the program. also you can tune vocaloid to sound realistic, look up kyaami's close to you cover
You are looking at a tutorial If course the voices sound odd it's not Being tuned for hours Listen to incredible songs like Gomene gomene (kikuo) Bad end night (hito x Yama) And if you don't like Japanese songs then Monster (kira) Is in English Vocaloid takes effort
he is probably using one of the default voices that come with vocaloid5 and yeah everyone knows they suck. he was just using them as example of how to tune
This is the most criminally underrated tutorial I have ever watched thank you so much.

Haha, happy to read this comment. That's me!
Thank you for taking the time to make this!
It's my pleasure :). Any other requests for future videos?

Isnt synth V waay better? Solaria sounds really real: th-cam.com/video/pPSJAZvbhZ8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-Y01LekoBIqhN2wG
i also prefer synthv, but a lot of people still use vocaloid
I spent an year with this toy... it s horrible. use Synthesier V with Solaria. This thing never sounds better that a fake chipman
💀bro.. everyone has an engine that works for them, synth v isn’t always the best and elite choice for everyone

No matter how good your tuning is, this still sounds like a dying cat. Vocaloid needs better voices.
