I hope to see points drops for non-missile infantry units across all armies. Fast heavy hitters are dominating right now. Would love to see slightly larger armies with more infantry focus. Also, non-wizard non-priest heroes need to drop in cost, or more of them must be able to be taken without adding a new regiment.
It would be nice if you would cover some polish events next year, we will have two major ones in first quater: DMP: Polish Team Chapionship in january and Wrocław GT #1 - Singles Tournament in march :).
for soulblight gravelord i am hoping that they move the hunger back to any combat phase. Zombies to go back to 5+ when they die. skeletons get D6 back not d3.
I am a Tzeentch guy. I hope they nerf Kairos so it stops being a must-have, and I hope they buff the bafflingly useless battle formation with the teleport that doesn't even work a third of the time.
That battle formation, among other stuff, is what really makes me think that they only look at 1/3 of each faction. Like, some stuff looks and sounds like a first-draft idea they just printed without developing more. And I'm talking about everything. Manifestations, battle formations, battle traits, battle tactics, warscrolls, lores of magic, regiments and heroes... I really hope they manage to tidy some things up sooner than later.
Gargant as a mercenary is no joke, I got my butt handed to me by a non-karios Tzeentch army with the Gargant, Kronspine last month, it went on to win the event in UAE 5-0. No fun to play against, they block the centre while 8-9 skimmers pour on the mortals; called Burning Ox list.
Manifestations need to cost something for balance. For a start make the worst lore (aetherwrought machineries?) worth 10 points and morbi-cunj and Krondspine 50pts. People will still take them but at least get us thinking of trade offs. Perhaps faction ones could stay zero to encourage some diversity on the table. Tweak points over time from there.
Nothing's guaranteed, but typically AoS balance updates come a week after 40k and they got theirs last week. And Wed is when they've typically released them, so this Wed is a good prediction.
Id like to see shooting dialled down. Not sure why 3 rend shooting is a thing in the game when so many hero monsters melee have 1 rend id cap all shooting at 1 rend. Foot heroes seem woefully under strength by comparison - need more ways to take them (inc wizards) without being a whole deployment and either make them punchier or make them cheap as chips... At the mo they seem like unit champions that cost 2/3 of a whole unit but have less health, less attacks, less control. The big named figurehead units are in a good spot but monsters feel under powered - again in a world where shooters can get 2/3 rend with 2 damage, why monsters aren't 2 rend 3 damage minimum is baffling to me.
'Stormcast still dominate the meta'. Three Stormcast lists in top positions vs four Slaves to D... Do Stormcast have anything that can compete with 40 wound knight units, Varenguard and Belakor? Stormcast get shooting, I suppose. Not sure if I'd describe them as dominant. Nice to see them competing after a long period of obscurity.

Hard agree
I had a great time at the PNW Masters. Went 0-5 and my worst blowout was against the ringer. But I won the raffle!
Hell yeah 🤙 that’s a tough meta!

Would like to see the Destruction Battle Tactics changed up
Love your content ❤

@40KWill thanks
In 2 days then!

So takeaway is SCE need a nerf and belakor can have his points doubled and still see play? 😅
Do we know when balance slate dropping? December or january?
It's this week! Sources say wednesday

As someone building a stormcast army these video titles arent gonna do me any favors come balance update 😂
I feel for you but I hope you’re also correct 🙃

More like, “Longstrikes hold up the Stormcast book again”.
Yep, that and teleport.. the problem is that if they nerf the longstrike the army is going to suffer..
I hope they annouce 5th edition, 4th has been straight unfiltered dogshit
