In this video clip, I am showing how I rig up for Luderick. Its a rig I've used for many years successfully and all you need is,
A luderick pencil float or equivalent.
10 pound main line go to your fishing reel.
10 pound fluorocarbon FC ROCK line for your trace.
    Split shot sinkers.
    Float stoppers.
    Swivel.
    Size #8 Luderick hooks.
I hope you enjoyed the video, please feel free to comment.
    Happy fishing and tight lines.

Keeping it simple is often the key to great bread and butter fishing in my opinion.

You're correct, as some say KISS, keep it simple stupid.

If I could give you 5 atars I would. Practicality is the answer. Ty

How big is the hook loop with respect to the lower split shot placement? How heavy will you go with the lower split shot that close to the hook? Do you ever find with fine line that the loop gets damaged in the hook eye gap, where it often doesn't meet cleanly? Ta. Keep up the good work.

They are commonly called black bream up in se qld , with the proper bream , silver or yellowfin. It's not very accurate , but that's fishing!

I have been fishing for luderick for over 40 years and have never heard anyone refer to luderick as black bream. Other names yes but black bream? Never. Black bream are bream. Different species.

I’ve heard it a few times fishing down the south coast. Each to their own I guess.
