    Thank you for the great video tutorial! I followed your steps on my Mastiff with terrific results. Only thing I changed -- I cut a piece of old garden hose and slid it over the drill extension bit to make it easier to handle and less likely to grab my glove.

    Cool new channel - i had a honda fury but sold it a while back. deffo get another similar in future. Like the look of yours. Hope we get to see it in full and hear you fire it up. Infact you could make an intro like the other channel with your bike.
    As per usual the protectant product you use seems to be usa only or pay a huge price so searching uk amazon for rim job pulled up some very interesting search results. Wait till i now start getting remarketing emails about rim jobs. The wife will no doubt see an email and start the interrogation lol take it easy man. 2 channels to keep me intrigued now. 😄👍 one of my fave channels is sweet project cars.

    AMAZING VIDEO THANK YOU! I’ve got a Big Dog K9. How do you clean your cylinder heads? And can you clean and reuse your drill polishers? Is so what do you use.

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We use the drill polisher bits until there's nothing left to them then we just replace them as they are fairly inexpensive. As far as cleaning cylinder heads and jugs, we use this amzn.to/3msFOs3 to get in between the fins and the outside edges of the fins. Of course you won't want to use these if you have chrome. Then we use this amzn.to/3uzQ2Ip to buff it to a shine. Thank you for watching and asking, have a great weekend. mad Mike the hammer Sweet Scoots

    • @SweetScoots
      @SweetScoots  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First, I would use this amzn.to/33tPuYw to remove the majority, then I would use this amzn.to/3uzQ2Ip to buff the remainder off, then apply this goo.gl/z9TrgR so you don't ever have that problem again Greg. Follow our instructions and products in our first comment "First, I would use this amzn.to/33tPuYw to remove the majority, then I would use this amzn.to/3uzQ2Ip to buff the remainder off, then apply this goo.gl/z9TrgR so you don't ever have that problem again Greg." ....... Then when it comes time to clean future bugs off your forks, I think that's what you are asking, they should come off much, much easier, just use this amzn.to/3uzQ2Ip It will not affect the coating. Hope this answers your questions. Have a great day. mad Mike

    I looked up a couple of videos on both sites for aluminum rims that are oxidized. I stored my bike out of the rain this winter (west coast means little snow) but foolishly left the bike cover on. When i peeled it off this spring, the rims had really oxidized. The bike has big wheel coverings and double oversize brake disks. Doesn't leave alot of room for elbow grease. Should i take the wheels of to refinish the rims or is there another way?

    I have a question about aerospace 303 and motorcycle tires, I know how well it works on car/truck tires but can it be used on street bike tires ? because street bike tire's don't last nearly as long as a car tire this would be a big plus if you could use 303. so long as your not going to slide all over the place. and feed back would be great. thanks.

    • @SweetScoots

      @@SweetScoots awesome it’s funny you made a comment this morning. I was just thinking about you guys. I have a question. I’m a bit nervous trying it. I ended up putting a Saddleman seat on my road king. So I have the notorious scratches on tank where old seat was and on the plastic side panels where old seat sat. My bike is a 2011. So has had a lot of time to create them. I bought the mothers and also the never dull wadding. You think I can use your process with this you showed around your gas cap to remove those? If so, also on the plastic panels? Sorry I’ve never done any sort of paint correction so am nervous about trying it.

      Old comment but, in some cases you can sand with 600-800 grit to remove deeper imperfections. Any finer grit is a waste of time. It will polish out beautifully though. Works especially well on aluminum. Don’t sand plated parts 👍

      @@michaeldixon3445 to remove the haze make sure you are using these amzn.to/3W9mqPi and i can guarantee if you polish with amzn.to/3GHkgRt long enough using those Microfibers the haze will go...you may need a 5gal bucket of elbow grease depending on how bad the aluminum is..thanks Mike

    4:23 ''these rims are in really bad shape''
    Your 'bad shape' rims look 10 times better
    than mine, even after several hours yesterday.
    My 'electra glide rims are tough to get at
    and the design makes them tedious to clean
    and polish, much more so than what I see here.
    and with sharp edges that catch the pads.

      well Sometimes it takes a 5 gallon bucket of elbow grease and just stay on point with the saying a journey of 1000 Miles has started by one step forward one after the other do a little bit at a time and you’ll get it bikes are very hard to get to in some areas that’s for sure it takes the patience of Job to polish most of them
