Nice looking blanks. I would have only a few bends in your wire. I would also start with your wire in the tube before you pour your resin. Once poured slowly pull the wire out as you rotate. You should get a more even swirl that way. Great work though.
Hi Mike just subscribed to your channel, I have watched a couple of videos and like what I see, I enjoy turning pens myself but have not got into casting my own blanks yet. Can you tell me what make of pressure pot you use. Thank you.
Excellent video. Shared it with a couple friends. Thank you for the shout outs. You selling any of those blanks? I might even be interested in the rejects. I can always use practice blanks. Regards, Bob
Have you made any progress in the colour mixing/separation issue? I am relatively new to casting, I enjoy it but..... It can be frustrating hoping for a sense of achievement.
There seems to be a steep learning curve for getting 'just the right' pour. I'm still practicing, but getting better. I'll post again once I get it nailed down.
Like you said to many bend why don't take about three of them out and why not try making like a snake and add a half turn more or maybe a full tur more keep trying you'll get something you like
Welcome back, the first one looks the best
Glad to see you back!!
The first one, nice to see you back👍👍👍
Hi First one has more colour separation, Keep put the video's up really enjoy them
So happy to see you back I have missed you. How about you just push the bended wire in then pull it out without turning it and see how that works.

P.s. version 1 gets my vote😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

I'm in the planning stages now for a website to sell pens and pen blanks. I'll let everyone know when it goes live.
How about wire in tube then pull out once per blank, less mixing. Blanks all looked nice.
👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
what if instead of alternating the two colors, you got a funnel and poured the two somewhat simultaneously? would that over-mix them?
