26:20 smokin’ 🤣 In the 80s (me in my 30s) a group of us engineers on a road project that crossed a tidal river near its estuary, we used to rent 5 or 6 stand-up jet skis from a local hotel and water sports owner, and take them out and have a ball. This was West Wales UK, where neither the weather or the water is ever warm - wetsuits we’re essential. From memory they were only 250cc but man, we had a blast with those things. Almost 3 years on that project, so imagine how many weekends and evenings we were on the water! We also had an old ski-boat, with a 60hp Suzuki twin outboard, we had loads of fun learning to ski and just enjoy the water and each other’s company. Great memories ❤️🇷🇴
also, this video tonight, after sending an email with 20 attachments, after sending a prior email with 15 attachments, absolutely made my night. thanks to all ya'll.
I know absolutely nothing about jet ski’s and will probly never ride one since I can’t swim at all, but I really enjoy watching someone who’s so enthusiastic and passionate as Jimmy is about jet ski’s. He’s usually so quiet on MOSG it was cool to see him talkin about something he obviously loves and is very passionate about.
Jimmy, I can not express enough... what a gift you have! Listening to you instruct and give advise with such patients, kindness and compassion. You have the gift of not making anyone feel as if they ever fail. Such a pleasure, listening to you talk to people. I hope you have not missed the opportunity to work with the Youth! Keep up the good work.
Jimmy and Merlin you guys are awesome. I'd really enjoy just hanging out with you guys. I've learned so much. Thank you for sharing. That's a blast Jimmy's got moves on the water 🙏🦾👍
That brought back some memories. I had a pair of 440's, one was modified for. me with a quick turn. I put double pads on the bottom of the tub. FUN FUN TIMES.
I was a four year three sport athlete in high school and all thru growing up and junior high and the standup skis we had would wear the ever loving crap outta me. Tons of fun though!!!! Good job Hunter!! (Jimmy…the Jet Ski operator whisperer.)
Jimmy is the Man! Unassuming, but has the experience and knowledge. Hunter is Sooooo fortunate to be able to hang with, learn from the OG Paul, Sean, Merlin and Jimmy. That years of experience and knowledge all at one place. GREAT VIDEO !🤙😎
Brings back a lot of memories every time you all make a Havasu/River video. Many years of my youth spent between Havasu and Headgate. Makes me want to move the family out of Cali to AZ.
Some 'Metal Flake Purple paint' and black pads on Hunter's ride and he'll be styling while having a blast. Thanks for sharing all this fun with us.Side hurt a bit from laughing along with you all./Couldn't decide whether "Purple Haze",or "Smoke On The Water" fit better.
You are a Legend JetSki Jimmy, no Doubt in My Mind. Living the Good Life Brother I am Envious of You Sir. When I Grow Up, I’m Gonna Be Just Like JetSki Jimmy & I Ain’t Kiddin’
Way to go Hunter I was a little disappointed that you went back up to Merlins and was messing with an old JetSki and there were no rats involved, but hey kudos to you Brother.
A friend of mine had an early '90s 440. He raced ski's around that time. It was a 440 mod or something like that. That ski would pull your arms out of socket when you pulled the trigger. He also had a 650 mod but, I never rode that one. You don't need the newest and best to have fun.
#Jim Hello I seen your channel from watching Merle channel. In 1993 I lost both my legs above the knees at my job. I was a tow truck driver got a pick-up out of the center of the hwy. There was like half inch ice 6in of snow semi top this hill an jack knife his trailer smashed me between the pick-up an wrecker drug me 213 ft down the hwy. Life lives on. I end up buying a boat an 2 jet skis . I had so many people look at me like I was crazy because I rode a jet ski with no Legs . I had a Kawasaki 3 seater. It would run close to 60 mph. I loved it. I love your channel it is awesome. I live in Central Missouri I am selling my house an looking for a place to move where there is no snow not much rain. In a wheelchair snow, An wheelchair don't mix. That looks like a nice town you an Merle live in. I was wondering how much house are down there. In 1996 my house cost me half million to have built. Anyway love all the info about jet ski.
I had a friend who owned that old ski, but built to the max! Clocked at an honest 65 MPH!!! He was insane! Had North of $12,000 in it, and traded it for a LS 454 Chevelle. Good times.
Yep The Old Man here, from the Land of windmill's, Tulips and...water ..oh... and flat as a panncacke. yep the Netherlands. Jimmy good teachting man and that black machine...what a beest. Yup new subscriber. Thanks.
39:34 ... is it just me, or does Hunters jetski look like Iron Mans mask as it pulls in to shore? Would make an awesome paint scheme!!! Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
