Just a little extra theory, did you notice how Mel's back load, and she seem to notice the missile before it landed.
I reason to believe that Mel is actually from solari, a regional faction in League of legends that lives on Mount targon, basically they believe in celestial gods, anyway those golden markings make me believe that she cast the magical shield and that's the reason why her, viktor and Jayce lived and are champions in lol.
Since they are the closest persons near her, along with Caitlyn's mom.
Also don't become a League of Legends player, the community is awful the game is okay, and it's really fun if you know to play it.

You gotta understand League has 150+ champs and every character has lore behind it and this show so far has only had like 5+ of them. They could make so many different shows that would be equally interesting because when it comes to creating interesting characters and great stories Riot don't miss

The flaw that Vi had is she couldn't accept her sister as what she had become. She loves and couldn't let go of Powder she still has the delusion that Jinx is that scared little girl she always defended her whole life and didn't see she has grown to be something else. Silco accepted this as both Jinx's father figure and confidant as to him Jinx is who she is and he loves her for whatever she had become.
In a third party perspective. It's easy for both Caitlyn and Jinx to antagonize one another. As they see each other as people simply breaking down or pulling Vi to a path she shouldn't be in. To Caitlyn. Jinx is an unhinged murderer. And to Jinx Caitlyn is manipulating Vi in someway to push her away or capture her.
All in all the dinner scene was very great. Shows all perspectives and insights from both parties.
I agree with you, but keep in mind that Vi had this version of powder in her head for years since she was in prison and she obviously thought alot about her sister. And all of the last 6 episodes happen in about2-3 days? Its not easy to change your view on something you pictured your whole life in this short time
@@Sevbi Yeah, in a way Vi'smind is also tilted from the trauma they had endured when the factory imploded. Vi has the fucking guilt syndrome to deal with.
@@Sevbi I've been kinda confused about that actually. Vi told Caitlyn that she thought Powder was dead all this time but then she told Jinx that she'd been living exclusively to come back to her. Does that mean she lied to someone? o.o
@@ZombehPanda I dont think she lied. That´s probably the outcome of her uncertainty. She Hoped and wished that Powder was alive and fine (obviously) but also the last time she saw her was when Silco attempted her. The same guy who was responsible for the deaths of her friends, Vander and if not stopped herself. (because he brought by the situation, and would have done it, if he had the chance and nobody came before him)
Am I the only one who keeps thinking “I wanna get stoned with this guy” whenever I watch his reactions?
I felt EXACTLY like this last night, after that ending i mentally died for a few minutes, easy 10/10.
I loved every character, even the ones i hated, i think to me Vi was my most disliked character, and even then i liked her, but when it comes down to it, Jinx was right, Vi created this monster the day she decided to rob someone and every decision shes made after that has been mostly bad even if with good intentions.
I'm surprised they never brought up the fact that Vi and Jayce saw each other episode 1 when he got blown up(at the very least i didn't notice if they did)

I saw this one comment on another video, which I really liked, it said “I like how in the intro it shows Vi and Powder are a statue to show that the only way to separate them, is to literally break them.
These are the times I wish there was a manga to read so I could continue the series. Masterpiece completely, all through & through. Whoever wrote this, u should be proud. Whoever animated this, u should be proud and all who worked on it

tbf, jayce had assumed that silco was gonna give jinx in exchange for Zaun and he was never going to do that.
Piltover and Zaun would fight regardless, Jinx just started it off with a bang.

100% agree on that one. He's a perfect villain. One that you can sympathize with and even agree with on things. He isn't heartless and actually loves Jinx as his own. He just wants the best for the undercity, his home. From where he came from, stepping in his shoes, I could see myself going down his route too.

I cried at the end when he died by jinx's hand as he was trying to reach out to her. He added so much to the story, very well written character.

I love all the characters but jinx had me tear jerking man she been through so much it’s crazy I wanted vi to accept that she has change but know that she has alil bit of powder in her and then work together you can never know she could be good but man idk but Jesus all the characters was amazing I mess with ekko heavy though but the story the development in all the characters the past references the acting the visuals the voice actors all of it in my opinion for a seven year development it shows hard 10/10 in my opinion

Imo, the last piece of Powder died on the bridge after her fight with Ekko. Jinx/Powder is on a limbo/having an identity crisis after Singed operated her. The tea party was her way of finding who she truly is: Is she a Jinx or truly Powder?
In the end, her killing Silco sealed the deal, Powder is truly dead and Jinx is finally born. The last words of Silco to her is the same thing that he said to her in the end of episode 3: "Don't cry." and the very thing that engraved on Jinx's memory forever is "We'll show them. We'll show them all."
Jinx's only purpose is to show everyone that she will do everything in her power that she is more than just a jinx and simultaneously show that the worthless can be something greater or something that can break you.
Man I just started and finished it yesterday man just crazy they was making this since 2014 I was a freshman in high school 😭 but they said no worries about waiting that long I say middle 2023 or the end of 2023 prolly 2024

Silco understood Vander and his decission when he was at the sculpture :( And he got murdered just like that afterwards. Jinx omg. I feel so bad for her but on the other hand she's totally a monster. I feel like Vi messed up a bit in some scenes which pushed Jinx ever more. I don't know how would I react if I were her tho.
The amazing thing about the series is that You can easily like every character as they all had their reasons and were fu*ked up in soms was. They were written astonishingly good. Soo now we got Jinx with a big bazooka and enhanced fighting abilities. Gotta be interesting!

My favorite thing about silco was how he had a coffee mug that Jinx made him on his desk and an ashtray that she doodled on
how they made the show end where it began. Began with Powder/Jinx in the chaos of the blood red sky with her Vi but ended with Jinx being the start of the chaos and embracing the bloodbath soon to come in a way it's beautiful

Season 2 would be out betwern 2022 and 2023 because they are already making it rn, they announced on yt that its coming. Btw its also the same characters because we heard Jinx's voice in it.
Jinx is the perfect mix of Harley Quinn meets Joker and an easy fan favorite. The series Arcane is a masterpiece that needs to continue being told...I want more Arcane!!!
I also thought that but if you think about it more she's actually the perfect mix of Batman and Harley Quinn. Everything from the killed parents to the gadgets that she makes herself screams batman and the Harley part is pretty obvious.
It made me so upset to see the way Vi and Caitlyn handled Jinx. I understand where Vi was coming from but it was like she refused to see Jinx, she kept insisting that powder was going to come back not understanding that Jinx hadn't been powder for a very long time, thinking that bringing up her traumatic memories would bring powder back when really is was making her worse. Caitlyn on the other hand only saw Jinx and refused to recognize her as Vi's little sister which always lead to an escalation of every situation.
It’s kinda the point but yea I was disappointed too. If they did see jinx and accepted her, there wouldn’t be much of a plot anyhow.

if anyone noticed, Silco aimed the gun at Vi and shot at her but missed just to make her stop talking, the bullet just scratched her blazer. Because he knows what Vi says is not helping Jinx, he truly is a father trying to protect his daughter

Season 2 is gunna be 2022 or 2023. The majority of 6 years it took for season 1 was all spent on ACT ONE. Like 5 years for the first act. Mostly because they made the artstyle and animation type by scratch. So season 2 wont take nearly as long. Also, they confirmed the season 2 with a video yesterday, and it featured the hunting noises of Warwick, who i wont spoil, but you've already met them. It will be a continuation of Piltover and Zuan.
Also, riot is releasing a new champion ingame FROM arcane. We are 100% sure its Mel. Shes a support character, so the glowing gold bits under her clothes may save some people at that table.
Also, gotta say. Aside from commenting, im a lurker on youtube. But im liking this vid because your reaction was the exact copy of mine, and im a long time lore nerd for league. The fact 2 people on both sides of the pre existing knowledge of this world, having the same reaction is unique in its own.
And after season 2, they could go... ANYWHERE. 157 champions from 10+ regions or major zones. This'll be amazing as more is made.

I think so too. We saw how the hextech weapons have a sort of defensive barrier when Vi was fighting Silveka so I'm betting on that too.

Jinx probably caused a shitstorm of epic proportions with that rocket. If she ends up killing a member of a respected family of Noxus like Mel, her mother's going to rain fiery hell down on both cities. They're just going to come in swinging like they do everywhere else.

Jinx losing another family because of a mistake. Sevika was right with this ending. I didn't expect Silco's death to be that sad. I could also see it ending her explaining why all they do is fight in the game. Love that they are doing a season 2.
Silco died trying to protect her. He reached for the gun and tried to shoot Vi just to shut her up, bec he knows what she says is not helping her as a result Jinx made a mistake in the middle of her psychotic breakdown

I have found myself here again... Watching your reaction for like the 4th time ... waiting for season 2 ... because you have the most genuine reactions on TH-cam.
I don't really play LoL all that much. Played it here and there. After Arcane, I read a bit more lore and watch some characters' quotes. I'm really excited for two characters to show up in the future. Veigar and Swain. The first one probably won't, but GRAND GENERAL SWAIN BETTER SHOW UP!
I bet Mel is okay, did u see her back thing shine up? she is noxii they have some weird magic stuff around, her mother said she was her weakness, so i bet that is something protective that will block parts of the blast, she will manage to save Jayce but Caits mom and the others are toast and so is any chance for peace. Cait will want to hunt her down, Vi will try to take that responsibility herself. can't wait to see.
And you have all the alternate universe skins. They could easily make a Star Guardians anime (Sailor Moon-ish) or a Project anime. There is so much lore available.

I hope so. I really love Mel. She's a complex character and sooooo pretty. I'm worried the show will let her die as a way to push Jayce's issues with Zaun past the brink and also to upset Noxus. A warrior mother who lost both her children would be... freaking scary.
