A fork is a “crash in your waves”. The way in which I try to manage breaking the fork or 2 forks that I have right now, I vertical brush and do wash and styles 2x every week.

Shouldn't take too long. I brush about 2-4 hours a day. Just trying to master angle brushing in my mirror. Get a little disoriented sometimes lol

I did this without knowing and lots of wash n styles and consistant brushing since it was winter break i had a lot of freetime. My waves there got undifined and started shifting so when i started brushing in a diffrent direction the process did its thing. i went on a short wolf jounrey from late january to early febuary and thats when it finally fixed itself. it is a lot harder when you have a lot of crashes because you really have to study your pattern. all disclaminers still apply becasue most people with this problem are probably in ripple stage
I'm a waver I'm nowhere near the elite level as top tier wavers like 360jeezy in the intro when he said this is not for u...the somtimes durag wearer at night is me😅 but my waves is good enough for me and my lady and friends so I'm content but any waver that take that extra mile I give y'all my at most respect and I bow to you 😎👏
I saw a video of jeezys and get beamed that mentioned the price charged for the cut given 2 to $300. I wonder if either of them could explain the current rate scale for barbers.

What a lot of people don't know is that forks are the truth, the truth that you're fighting against your natural hair growth. If you simply brush and comb in the direction that your hair naturally grows, you won't have any forks. Doing this will also lead to you developing your waves faster because the curls will lay down naturally in place rather than being forced, or as people say, "trained" to lay down. To actually study which direction the different parts of your hair grows would mean you'd have to scalp yourself and study your head, however doing so, means your waves would come back twice and fast and without any forks. I hope this helps.

I use a lice comb to comb out my hair. Is that okay to use on waves ? I feel like it helps to really get deep and get all the loose dead hairs out
