Solid content as usual, Mr Dunigan. This video goes hand-in-hand with your Law of the Circle upload.
And congrats on your #1 in Pennsylvania Instructors rating per Golf Digest. Big fish is a pretty big pond. Well done!

John, what about on a par 3 with a slightly teed up golf ball. Do you still try hit down in front of ball?
Or am doing my best to catch it on the upswing?
Loving your videos started bombing all my clubs!!

Rudy, definitely hit down on your irons as normal and keep the tee height just above the ground. Thanks for watching!

Outstanding video Thank you. Do you also use external focuses (foci?) to fix this problem? If so, can you share which ones have worked best? Perhaps a suggestion for a separate video? Thanks!

Whenever possible I "keep it external." However, another super useful way to coach is using analogy, as in from another sport. The Lean, is an example. Throwing a ball as shown also. Standing on the target side of the student and having them lean into my hand is super helpful. I also use tape as in, "Move this piece of tape here." There are lots of ways.

Great video John, what’s your take on straighten your leg in the back swing?

    • @JohnDunigan

it's a great thing for most people to have the back leg straighten up somewhat, but not fully extend on the backswing to create more ability to turn on the backswing!

Do you hit hybrids like irons?

      Yes sir!
A hybrid is a weird looking iron!

All making sense now, Many of my good driving days I hit a lot of fat approach shots drives me insane. Wish I was in your area to have a lesson. 🏌️‍♂️Thx
