Finally a golf instruction video that discusses "weight transfer" properly. The direction of force applied by the feet is so crucial. I have this exact issue at 15 minutes. Ive always been right toe into left heel pressure because I thought that's how you turn. My big miss is a spinning slice! I have to go try this fix.
All of this makes sense! Really like the way you explained this. I've watched a lot of pressure trace teaching/analysis vids but can't recall anyone linking the CoP to swing path so clearly. This is very useful info. Like the way you seperated the drive off the R foot as distinct to keeping weight on the R foot. Bradley Hughes is a big proponent of this too. Thanks John - this ones a keeper👍
Hey John. You have to check out the Salted Insoles. Basically Swing Catalyst insoles for your golf shoes. Can put them in your square strike shoes. Lol!
@@JohnDunigan would love to see your take on it. Watched other videos. Seem accurate and people seem to like them. Way cheaper to buy on eBay. Almost half off, thinking about pulling the trigger. I like to hang back on that right foot.
So when it's the small screen of the pressures during your actual swing, the image is that your left foot is on the right, but when you review the swing left is left, etc?
This is what I believe is more important about weight shift that I discovered on my own, there’s time when my weight shift is 100% automatic and there’s times as hard as I try I can’t shift my weight doing all the drills step drill etc.. for almost 2 weeks now my contact has been awful hanging back fat thin…. So was on the range the other day trying to work it out with all my weight shift drills nothing working. For some reason I decided to lower my hands at setup and my whole swing felt different and getting to my finish was again automatic. So I believe it doesn’t matter how many weight shift drill you do if you don’t have a balance arm swing. Please tell me if I’m wrong. Thx
You certainly can do that, but driving off the back foot is far more dynamic. Keep in mind that the faster you turn, the less from the inside the club will move into the impact. So do you need to straighten a too far to the right path?

The footwork will definitely help, but make sure your grip is correct!

Thanks very much!
Great stuff John! Looking forward to the rotational and upward pressure sessions.
Coming soon, Jeff! Thanks for watching!
Excellent thanks for the video John, very helpful and informative 👍
Glad it was helpful!
It is so true that an Irishman can never tell a short story…no disrespect as I am a long winded Mick but have learned to get to the point

They send me a message about trying them. Certainly, if they are accurate and will work with video, they would help people.

Jeff, never forget Dunigan's Rule #1: What works IS RIGHT!
What is the footwork for hitting a fade?
Get to your left heel quickly in transition, even if you spin the foot out like you're seeing on tour with Reed and Dechambeau
😍
So you don't start your downswing by moving your left knee out and around. Interesting

none of this makes any sense. ...lol
Sorry about that!
