something i love so much about this channel aside from the photography, editing, information, interviews, and good descriptions of the dishes is the human element. it’s very fun to see how passionate you two are about food. there’s something so special about seeing someone go “holy shit” and lose composure after eating an amazing dish. i love the formal lack of formality when you guys eat good food. the excitement and passion really shines through
Something I love form the staff in this amazing restaurant is that they take there time to explain the dish without it getting boring. Sometimes they go so fast that you dont hear half of what they explain. Here you could understand everything and they are so relax and precise. I would love to go here one day!
My first comment on any of your videos though I must say you guys deliver great content. This particular one is top notch. The way you describe flavors and texture is always on point. This restaurant is on my list for sure. Best of luck with your channel and you two compliment each other very well.
another outstanding video..everything gets better and better.. the photography, editing, sound..etc..I appreciate all the long hours of work that must go into finishing them
@@S3Lifestyle by the way, next time in NYC, I highly recommend doing a video for HUSO by Buddha Lo..he's brilliant..also, so sad about James Kent, huh?
Exceptional content as per usual, you guys are crushing it! I LOVE your videos and one thing I appreciate is your down to earth personalities. Always seem so grateful for your experiences at these magical places. Respect 💗
Thanks so much!! We're truly always humbled to be able to experience these moments, and it makes it extra special to be able to share it with you guys and bring you along the meal with us :) Thanks for the love and continued support!!
Wow, this place looks amazing, loved all the staff explaining the dishes too and hearing the comments from the chefs. Loved every course and what a way to finish
Wow! some really different flavour profiles throughout the menu - kudos for taking the behind the scenes shots and interviewing the Chef! this makes the videos more interesting in my opinion, great job as always.
That looks like an amazing place, and I was super excited to see a new three star, especially Edip since he was already cooking super exciting food at Les Deux in Munich. This menu…surprised me. German three stars are usually quite traditional in what they serve or, if innovative, have clear Germanic roots, but in his cuisine and in his wine pairing, it seems as though Sigl and his sommelier really wanted to be firmly in both camps. It was an “international” menu, after all, so while some dishes (like the char and the sweetbread) were in tune with the region, we also see a lot of flavors and ingredients that can find a place somewhere else (saffron ice cream, tuna/ponzu). Same with the wine. But altogether, it looks really nice. Did you guys stay at the hotel and experience the spa at all? I’m curious how you guys liked that if you did!
You're good! What we didn't mention in the video is that they offer two menus, one more traditional from the region and the other influenced by Edip's world travels. They curated a mix of both for us to showcase a more broad range of their offerings! Yes, we did stay at the hotel, although most of our time was spent filming and we weren't able to try the spa! All in all, a beautiful and lovely experience and stay!
Looked spectacular. I've not been to any 3*s in Germany, but some excellent 2*s - bianc in Hamburg, Lafleur in Frankfurt, Tim Raue in Berlin and most recently, Atelier and Esszimmer in Munich. All well worth a visit if you decide to slum it with some 2*s ;) Wasn't as taken with etz in Nuremberg, which is quite experimental, and Süllberg outside the centre of Hamburg (which hasn't been in the guide for a while now).
Your reviews are good @S3Lifestyle It is like a Michelin guide. I appreciate the passion for high quality food and wines which is very rare nowadays. Thank You.
I won’t be paying for the lifestyle access, paywalled content isn’t for me. You guys make great content here on TH-cam and I look forward to your next reviews.
Although I’m sure your judgements are worthy. I’m just curious. I read a little of your bio’s on your website and couldn’t see anything that showed a background in food or drink and therefore wondered, other than eating at a significant number of restaurant what experience you have in the restaurant industry and therefore how you have an in depth knowledge of what you are eating?
I am curious about how you manage to have that luxury experiences… You look very young!!! If your husband pays all it is ok… But I am really curious about how you can afford this!😊
Fair but he’s definitely elevated and made the cuisine his own. Something can be inspired and original at the same time. These dishes are masterpieces.
Mustard+Butter is a very classic german "butterbrot". It's very much a prussian/eastern influence rather than french. The french part here is the brioche i guess. But as alway in europe: things aren't as clearcut.
Just looking inside the place will set you back a hundred dollars 🤣😂🤣😂 Talk about waste of resources?? Look at the star restaurants!!! Too much water, electricity wasted on one little item
Fantastic restaurant editing and content but most annoying food bloggers on youtube. Tone the reactions down guys...super sickly watching you both eating.

If ever a restaurant deserved an S3.
For the decor to the setting and from the staff to the food this place just oozes sensuality.
Definitely!!

I would say congratulations but that restaurant doesn't need it. Three stars is so well deserved.

Glad to see I'm not the only one wondering
Is the ranking of this restaurant S2 or S3?
why does it feel like you're going to get murdered here lol because everything is so perfect
HAHA 😂 Everything was perfect!!

The French combine mustard and butter all the times. The German got the inspiration from the French, there is not doubt.

Great content! You 2 have charisma and good energy but a bad hair dye on the dude!
Thanks! And it's the lighting... not a bad hair dye :)
