Kev’s transfer policy: always sign a striker. Then sign another striker.
I played FM22 but I dived in and made my life to difficult as I was just doing everything and I didn't really understand most of it. I have preordered fm24 (with your code) and I love watching these videos and your Brighton save as it is making my second attempt a lot more enjoyable and I actually understand most of it now. Please keep these videos up!
I delegate most activities to my staff including media, training etc. and I was still the best English Manager ever in 23 (in my own game only of course). So don't worry about having to do everything. It takes too long. Enjoy 24.
I don’t know much about football/soccer here in America besides what I gathered from watching Welcome to Wrexham and Ted Lasso. I am a huge baseball simulation fan, but haven’t even watched a full football match on television in my life. I’m loving my save with Wrexham and these videos are the reason why. I think I might even watch a match on the Telly (did I say that right?). Thank you so much!
You did indeed say that right!
Telly! 📺
How's your football journey going?
I find training helps a lot, focusing on defending ahead of a game you expect to get smashed can tighten things up, for example. My best upsets have happened when I've done this.
I think it does make a difference. If I go through a bad spell, I do a lot of defensive training, and it seems to improve. My team Bohemians, we do well at set pieces so I always train that before a match too. Followed by match practice.
Really liked the series so far, I'm applying your tips in my first playthrough. Let's hope I don't get sacked. Eager to see those tutorials on tactics and set pieces, but also a couple of suggestions: "Your first half season" (or something around those lines, seeing the game cycle during competition) and "Transfers for beginners" (especially loans and contract clauses, those baffle me so much I delegated all...).
Loving the tutorial stuff kev, I would really like one on scouting
On the press conferences - the biggest benefit you can get is that you can get hints towards some of the hidden attribute of your players (which, in fairness, you can get from player reports - assuming your coaches aren't useless at judging ability).
I tried it for a few months in an FM23 Gladbach save and often got questions like "How important is it to have leaders like Nico Elvedi in your team?", "Surely you agree that Manu Kone has the qualities need for such an important match?" and "You must love having someone as consistent as Julian Weigl in your squad."
Thanks for making these videos. I’ve always wanted to play a game like this but it’s really hard knowing where to start. Cheers.
A demo on how you use the data-hub
Can't wait for non league to legend, getting prepped to start alongside your save kev ☺️
Great stuff. Even for a seasoned player like me to see how you do things. Like these videos a lot :)
One thing... I never EVER sell a player where i have to pay some of the wages. I just reject the offer, offer him back out excluding the salary clause and they will 98 % of the time come back with the same offer paying all the wages. Just my take on selling players :)
I would really enjoy a training deep dive video!
I can't remember which FM it was, but I rejected the "meet the press" and was sacked the day after for it.. So if not planning on doing that, may as well say no on the intro bit where you select the friendly with the reserves as a just in case.
Doing a Scarborough Athletic save and need info for starring with a team with no scouts, 16 players and no transfer budget. The Arsenal model doesn't work at this level.
I play on Game Pass rather than Steam. Can I download views from anywhere other than Steam Workshop?
First lets go W Lollujo content keep it up
Arsenal went from a squad you wanted to overhaul 1st season to a squad you hate to see anyone leave even cedric
Anyone offer any advice on how to win game, i pick my best starting 11, there match fitness and happiness levels are at the highest, ive changed the formations and tatics numerous times, yet i still atill to win, i tweak a few of the settings when its a live match, but i always concede loads or end up drawing, i dont mess with the training routine because it gets to complicated, can anyone offer any help, or is it just down to luck
I tried liking this game but it's just way waaaaay too much stuff for me. I tried just clicking continue a bunch of times to get to a game but there were a million "must respond" actions for me to do. I gave up and refunded the game. Thanks for the tutorial anyway!
Is there a point playing the game if you delegate everything? I'm asking because that's how I'm currently playing as I know nothing on how to improve the team.
The point of playing any game is to have fun. So if you’re enjoying yourself, yes. If you’re not, no.
The point of playing a rss management game is to have fun managing stuff. This game has plently enough to get you way busy to the point that it could be a new job for you as something close to a Project Manager, therefore Its up to you how far you want to go with it and thats the beauty of this game.
im gonna do an newcastle save
how quick do you get the game when you pre-order fm 24
Instantly
@@goldenflower5035 i mean i have to wait two days for some reason
Is there a way to disable the first transfer window?
Yes in advanced settings when choosing your team
@@cookiemonster2189 thx
@@evertonfankjb8132 no worries
You should just record yourself playing the game for next videos mate
