I’m 75 years old, and I was a fan of Namor before Wakanda Forever. Before this show even in fact.
I was a fan of namor from the moment i knew about it him in neversoft's spider-man game from 2000!
Wakanda forever is a shit show, it's just woman Kong on steroids.

Invisible Woman was amazing in the 2000's cartoon: strong-willed, tactical, and the writers weren't afraid to make her to most powerful one on the team. The Invisible Woman in the 90's cartoon couldn't sneeze without having to be rescued.

This show was actually one of the marvel shows that was really good actually.... The fact that namor can stand toe to toe with Thor and hulk and it's only his first time being in a movie is crazy. Hell the fact he's the very first mutant in marvel should be a big deal

@@Axel146 Yeah he pretty much did. Thor one shotted him with a haymaker. Furthermore Marvel in their hierarchy classed Namor as level 6, Hulk and Beta Ray Bill as level 7 whom he has managed to beat, and Thor as level 8. Namor is not close in Thor's vicinity, just like others that made short work of him like Thanos, Black Bolt and The Sentry who are also classed level 8.
@@IStevenSeagal I know you just looking up scans. Namor was literally was up the next page. Like I said, it's a common mistake. Read the comic rather than googling their fight history. It literally says Namor is dehydrated and the rain restores him right after. Read the full book not just the scan

The most comic accurate thing in Wakanda Forever that something Namor would say was when he killed Queen Ramonda and was like

My only gripe with MCU Namor is how underwhelming his signature phrase was lol I wanted to hear him shout Imperious Rex when he first invaded Wakanda

This show introduced me to Namor
I really hope Namor gets his own movie with James Cameron's new underwater cameras.
I grew up with this version of the fantastic four. This was when cartoons had amazing and intriguing art styles. Now all cartoons are drawn boring with character design so simple and minimalistic, my little nephew would even make a better drawing. This was also the last time namor was on screen for more than 15 years. Took them long enough to bring him back in the scales

See, FF:WGH Namor is the one I grew up with and respect despite being more prickly than a sea urchin, so I was honestly turned off from Wakanda Forever just from seeing what they were doing with him in the trailers.

The way he was painted in the trailers made him look similar to a villain and invader, closer to Attuma than Namor.
