I have the same shuttle and it's awesome. I did changed the double USB plug to a USB and USB-C plug and lots of phone come with the USB-C these days. I crammed a 30ah wide Amped Outdoors lithium battery in it, which makes all the cables hard to hide. Great Canadian Company from a fellow Canadian.
Aren’t they awesome!? I’ve been loving mine! That’s a good idea to add the USB-C. I kicked around changing the 12v socket for another usb plug as well!
So informative once again, thanks. And way to cover topics quickly too. I'm so on the fence on getting a Livescope. They look so fun to fish with, and I did an ice crappie session with a buddy with one this yr, and it was really a next level experience. Thanks again.
I met up with Ian at his shop and picked up one of his shuttles. It's super nice. I put the new 32amh Amped battery in. It's tight with wiring but runs my helix 12 and mega live all day. Good video!!
Hi TJ, Hey, you just cost me money😄,after watching your video i ordered and just finished my build on this Shuttle.i like this Shuttle alot. i got the black powdered coated one. i bought and installed that two in one power cord ArcLab recommended for black box and head unit. sure saves space for not having to use those long seperate power cords that comes with LiveScope.i heard too that the black box drains power a little when not in use,on and off switch is so cool to have.Thank You so much for sharing all your Great videos.
Hey Rusty! I have a lot of friends who are in the same boat! Spend too much money after fishing with me 😂. Glad you have enjoyed the videos. That powder coated shuttle is awesome!! Enjoy!
I have the same shuttle and love it as well! I'm reluctant to use the shuttle without the Clam bag but it's sounds like Ian at Arclabs has run his shuttle without a bag for 3 years and hasn't had any issues. Great review!
Hey TJ. Thanks for all the videos. You’ve never had an issue with the black box being exposed? Getting wet, banged, frozen, etc.? It would scare me to leave mine so open.
What screen is everybody running here? I have a 95SV UHD1 that’s brand new. Should I switch to Ultra 2 106SV? I’m running it with LVS34 and arc shuttle
Thanks, Rob! Arclab is supposed to be coming out with a bag this is made specifically for this shuttle, but I haven’t heard anything yet! Otherwise there is a fixitok ski boot bag that fits well!
if you have the time would you be willing to show how the master on/off switch was installed and battery charging port?i just purchased one and having a hard time reading the diagram as ive never dealt with electrical diagrams.dont want to mess up thanks in advance
Boy I like the pole vs. my pvc one where can I get one? the shade also on the unit also? I’d like more info on the way u mounted a t on your boat also. Thank u very much
I will be making a video this spring showing how I mount everything and my boat set up, too! All of the products can be found here: arclab-motorsport-fabrication.myshopify.com
Mostly depends how much snow is on the ice. Still works quite well with 1-1.5 feet or so I’d have to go back and look how long that first section of the pole is. I believe the dimensions are on the website!
TJ I just bought the lvs34 plus. I want to use it for kayak fishing and ice fishing. Is there any concern using the lvs34 transducer for ice fishing? I didn’t buy the lvs34-IF version.
Are you talking that inside the pole? I haven’t noticed any inside yet. It gets cold to the touch at times. That’s why I have wrapped the handle in a grip on both and it helps a ton!
Dumb question here, but are the shuttles easy to swap out if I were to buy a pre-assembled livescope bundle that was made with like a summit or fingear shuttle? Thanks!
I have never had issues with it being wet or sitting in snow or rain. It does fit in a couple of the bags that are on the market as well that could help protect it too
Hi and thanks for the informative videos. I’m getting this set up and would like to know what are more affordable options as far as a battery that fits the 5200. I’m looking for something that will run it for 6-8 hrs before a recharge? Appreciate any suggestions

Just the video I needed is Amy 20 amp hour lithium ok for 8 hours for my LIVESCOPE 10 inch screen keep up great work

Thanks again for the comment, Aaron! I can’t speak for anyone else, but it is definitely one of the few things in fishing I consider a game changer!

I agree - these things are awesome! A helix 12 on there - that’s a beast!
@@tjsguideservice ya the 12 is to heavy and bulky. Nice to look at though, needs a 9 or 10.

Exactly! I haven’t had any issues either. I used to take my Garmin ice bundle out of the bag anyways when I would use it
do you have a product link to this Clam bag you are referring to?
Wow amazing shuttle and the optional accessories.
This thing has been awesome!! 🔥
You must move the pole from your console to up by the trolling motor and have two different mounts for that pole on the boat.
I do! I also took it off the pole and put it on my trolling motor most of the summer
@tjsguideservice TJ, do you prefer putting it on the trolling motor versus the pole??
Hey TJ. Thanks for all the videos. You’ve never had an issue with the black box being exposed? Getting wet, banged, frozen, etc.? It would scare me to leave mine so open.
I haven’t had any issues. I use it in the boat and the ice like this for the last 4 years and nothing!
it'd be easy to connect the traditonal sideVu clearVu transducer as well?
Great video dump question when charging master power should be on or off ??
I typically have it off, but I’m not 100% sure if it matters

Any chance that a wiring the shuttle from inside may be available please
Arclab is now selling wiring kits as well that are pre wired!
I have the sane setup. Do i need some kind of bag to keep it from slushi ice? Something like insulated bag
I have never had a bag and no issues! The black box is very durable. However arclab is coming out with a new bag that is going to be sweet!
I added some 1inch by 2 inch 80/20 to the bottom of mine.
Love the video! Any idea if the LVS32 mount has the snap in place rotation so you get the right angles on the transducer?
Appreciate that! You actually take the disk off your original mount so it will snap into place!
Thanks! Seriously appreciate all the responses and videos!

I got the amped charger that goes with it!
Hey man, just wondering how u got the linq fasteners on the side. If you pre still a hole for screws or what not. Thanks
They have holes started in the correct spots, just have to drill and connect with bolts. Super slick!

It depends on the unit you are running, but this link should help a bunch! ampedoutdoors.com/pages/how-to-calculate-total-amp-draw
Do you keep it in any sort of bag? Or do you just keep it as is?
I don’t yet, I’ve kicked around getting one, but I keep it in a tote on the back of my sled often so it’s usually protected.
I have used mine on ice a few times now. I would like to see why and how you rigged it on your boat.

Will my Garmin gps1222 fit on it ?
I believe it should! I have heard other guys mounting 12” screens on it. It’s big, but it works!
I would reach out to Ian and arclab to double check, but I’m fairly certain it does
What the price on that whole set up?$ thanks
It can vary a lot depending on what you choose to add with your package. All the prices for the products can be found on the website here: arclab-motorsport-fabrication.myshopify.com
What is the total weight of your shuttle as you fish with it?
Shuttle, battery, black box, sun shield etc.. is roughly 25lbs. That’s with an ultra 106sv.
@MRV those days are long behind me! 😂
I was told by the store that I buy mine LVS34. That can’t use bigger than 30 amp.
Really? I have never heard that before. What was the reasoning?
whats the set up weight? Standard says 28lbs.
The shuttle itself is 4.81 lbs. The 48ah battery is 7.1 lbs. Not sure on the whole package.
Having the power plug in on the side is a bad thing. Needs to be on front so you can charge while in the bag.
I don’t have mine in a bag, so I’ve never had an issue interesting note, though!
