I officially became a mobile detailer yesterday thanks to the 2 of you. And yes you can absolutely apply ceramic coatings outside, I've done this with the diy 3 and 5 year, I've applied Cquartz, avalon king, adams, and other coatings outside. They've stay working over time. Not everyone has the luxury of a climate controlled environment. Keep up the good work Yvan and Nick
I applied the DIY DETAIL 3 yr Graphene coating to my sons car 6 months ago. It sits outside 24/7. I noticed a few weeks ago when it rained, the horitontal panels had big odd shaped water beads yet the rain drops on the vertical panels looked small and tight . I gave it 2 rounds of water spot remover and its beading perfectly again. So if you see a similar thing on your coated car, dont panic. Get the DIY DETAIL Water Spot Remover and give that a go. Its magic in a bottle.
Just applied the 5+3 stack a week ago! Going to wash the car on Sunday but we’ve had a bit of rain here and the hydrophobics are WILD! Thank you for the product.
I got a new black car last month and applied the Stack on Labor Day. It as my first ceramic coating application ever. I am in South Florida. Very hot and humid in my garage. I spent the Sunday prepping the car (decon) and Monday I did the 2 step polishing (the car had swirls from dealership) and did the app. The flashing time was quite scary. It was so humid that I was applying and leveling within 5 seconds. The 8y was fine. After 5 hours, the 3y. Now that was something. I felt the 3y was harder maybe because of the graphene. I felt that the leveling with the dark liquid was not that easy to equalize. Well, it all ended up GREAT!! Thank you so much!! I am prepping today my second car, and will polish and apply the stack tomorrow.
I have now coated 5 of my vehicles, the last 2 with hydro lite and so far if I get the long term performance I expect I am and will be very satisfied. My biggest struggle is the last stage of prep when I glove up, I always end up dripping sweat somewhere. BTY Yvan is true to what he say's, DIY is great for answering any and all questions asked. Big thanks to the whole team!
If it's sweat from hands out of gloves, roll up a paper towel tight like a cigar and wrap around your wrist on the inside of your gloves. This will catch the hand sweat from leaking out of gloved area. If it's your head, where a head rag and hat.
First timer here with ceramic applications, but followed your steps and the 3 year graphene coating and it feels amazing on back of hand and super easy to apply. Love the channel and content!
Great video, I started using your products 2 months ago & I gotta say you guys make AMAZING stuff! OMG I have every wax on the market & Gold Label is the BEST wax I have ever used in 25 years.
Just purchased hydro lite, app, iron remover and waterspot remover. Going to use chem guys C4/P4 to correct the paint just cause I already had it. Hoping that won’t cause a problem. Looking forward to the results!
Please, for the legacy sponge, would be possible to adjust the shipping charges. The other day I was trying to buy just the sponge and the shipping cost was prohibitive (Florida). I understand other heavy stuff have higher costs, but the sponge weighs nothing. That would be really helpful. Thank you! Keep it up!
I was excited to see your products on amazon recently but when I went to grab an extra jeweling pad I couldn’t find one. Are there plans to get those in there?
Brother Yvan- you saved my ass! Your water spot remover was top notch after a month & a half on my vinyl race sripes. Thank you so much big bro!! Solid product
Hi guys, great video as always 😊 In which order would you do a maintenance wash on a costed car? In regards to foam, wash, iron and mineral remover …. Thank you in advance😊

When you say not to use a topper over the ceramic coating are you meaning only for the first week or not at all? Is ceramic gloss recommended to use as a drying aid after a wash after the first week? Is C6 Ceramic Mist ok to use after the first week?
Will DIY rinseless unclog dirt from a coating (lower doors and rear - especially in winter) or do you need a more aggressive shampoo to revive it? Thx guys. Love the channel.

I'm going to the U.S. next month and will coat my friend's SUV with DIY 3-Year Ceramic Gloss. My female friend is 81, in bad health, lives on Social Security, and has no one to hand wash her car. In this case, should I recommend a touchless car wash or a car wash with brushes?
How about coating a vehicle for someone that lives down a dirt road? Would they be good to drive back down their road 1 hour after the coating has been applied? Also, for a 3/5 stack do you do the 3 year or the 5 year coating first?
With the temp restrictions how long does it need to be above 50 degrees for curing? As in coating is applied around 50 during the day and the temp drops overnight
One thing I’ve been wondering…do toppers or LSP trap minerals and contaminates underneath them? For example, when I’m decontaminating a vehicle that’s regularly used Ceramic Gloss, does iron remover and water spot removed just treat the top layer or am I missing something? Sincerely, a chronic over-thinker.
