    I pay attention when watching your detailed videos. Ivan, you know what you are talking about when you get into it. I find it very refreshing when somebody knows what they're talking about. I can relate to your statement about automobile procedures because I've worked as a skilled tradesman at an assembly plant. But I need to become an expert in detailing and want to learn. Do appreciate Yvan's honesty about the products and their use and the realistic approach to detailing. Something I have been trying to tell people for years but people keep pushing for the perfect finish thinking the nano coating your putting on top will take the place of your OEM clear coat. Your OEM clear is your best defense folks. Preserve it. Once thing that really helps as well is Good Lighting. You really need good lighting when your working on a car and you also need a clean environment. Not ideal for mobile detailers, but for the DIY'ers out there you need a clean, lit environment. Take your time. Have realistic expectations. Your enhancing, not really correcting. Keep it simple. Use what works for you.

Lately I have been just using your rinseless wash to clean them, but what do you think about using all clean at a 30 to 1 dilution first to cut the heavier grease and grime and then follow it with crystal clear or rinseless wash? • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Apply it but wipe immediately. There’s nothing in DIY Detail Interior Ceramic Coating to create gloss. It may have lifted resins from a previous dressing to the surface.

    Or be like me and polish with your 3mm stroke random orbital sander for some gloss enhancement and verrry light correction heh (just remember to disassemble and deep clean if you've used for sanding wood before, and remove the brake so it can free spin).
    Side note, I recall it being mentioned in previous DIY videos but not explicitly stated here, IIRC if you are going to polish trim with the system, stick with the gold waffle pad. I believe it's still not advised to polish trim with the wool pad.
    Finally, an ode to the PSD Towel paired with DIY Iron Remover. I have done this process; it is lubricious, and time & product efficient. Did my daily driver before the winter hits here in Canada, and it was the most efficient and effective upgrades to chemically and mechanically decontaminating clear coat. All in one step and only using about 1/6th of the 16oz bottle of product. One of the best combos out there.

    Any tips on reducing water marks / I find even with EGO leaf blower or rinseless Wash (Spray Rinse Spray) methods I am taking ages to get rid of water, feels never ending from cracks and crevices, is it absolutely crucial to be totally dry with your ceramic coatings/steps. I am due to apply the 3 year graphene soon
    I also have a issue on windscreen with lint/etched in water marks and finding nothing working so far, is a polish with wool pad an option? (I’ve tried magic eraser, 0000 steel wool, glass spray, vinegar) is driving me mad!

      Adding that coating youre going to apply, will greatly reduce the drying time. You can flood the panels with water from the hose, get 95% of the water off, then a quick dry with your blower or towel with a drying aid

    I have a Q for you guys:
    How do I know when there's enough lubrication if the dilution-ratio from factory defaults/recommendations is inaccurate? F.ex. if you as me, live in an area with hard water (calcium levels are high). Should the wash mitt I'm using glide without friction on the car, I mean, is the idea of having a feeling there's enough lube accurate or how do I know there's enough lube onto the surface? I just don't want to necessarily over-spend product.
    Best thoughts from a detailing guy in Denmark 😁 (almost 1 year of subscription) 😎
