Thank you Thank you Thank you! This was so extremely helpful. I am looking to get a machine, but had no knowledge of what I should look for. I know what I want it to do, just didn't know much about what direction to look in. I will be checking your other videos to get more insight into the ones that tickle my fancy. I had to keep stopping the video to take notes! I usually hate watching videos and reading articles that are titled " The Best of...." because they are typically just people trying to sell something. Yours gives true knowledge. I can't thank you enough!
Thank you! You can watch my other videos where I have reviewed all of these machines in more details or visit my website hobbylasercutters.com for written reviews
Thanks so much for the info! I need to rewatch this video several times and the other that you made before making a decision... I need to find the one that have huge working area (+800) with the precision of the acmer, in the league of big working areas, which is the most precise? Thanks!
Hi, Thanks for your comment! It would be near impossible to get the same precision with the large machines. Because the larger the machine is, the less precise it gets. You can't get around physics. Belts have a tiny bit of stretch, the frame has a tiny bit of flex etc.. and it adds up at these large dimensions. For achieving the same precision as Acmer at that size, you would need a very heavy and sturdy machine.
I'm thinking of getting the Acmer with the expansion kit, and see how it performs, linear rails should be better than the others I think... Very expensive machines to make a error, your videos help me a lot!
@@maxpouser I think this would be the best bet for sure. If you decide to purchase check out the video description of my review of the Acmer and you will find a discount code for 5% off. And if you purchase through that link you will also support my channel at no extra cost to you which I would be very grateful for :)
In July 2024, what would be the best laser cutter and engraver to start (engraving woods and cutting wood (mdf) and plexiglass for wood working gabarit with a budget less than 1500 usd? Kind regards Frederic
Do you recommend the XTool D? I am interested in the Sculpfun S9 since your video now. I am looking for a beginner machine to use for 3-6 inch name signs for newborns engraving. Upgrading later if all goes well. Thanks!
Both are great machines for their price. Xtool is more expensive and more premium, sculpfun s9 is the best budget laser I have tested. You can watch my full review videos. I have tested them both.
Thank you for the video. I am trying to understand everything, but if I want engraving + cutting I should go with P2? Or there is better combo with 2 different machines?
Depends on what materials you want to cut. If cutting primarily wood, the S1 could be OK too. Cuts slower and a bit thinner, but it does the job. If you plan to do acrylic then P2 is much better. Watch my other videos I have reviewed both in more detail.
What would you recommend for one that can also do color marking stainless and similar? I see the Xtool D1 a lot, but MOPA lasers seem better (but much more expensive, and much smaller areas).
@@JTMakesIt Yes, it's cheaper. It is confusing that the description of the S9 says that it has a strong laser, it is emphasized that it is like 90W with co2, and the S30 does not say anything so much about power. Thank you for your reply and lots of great ideas in other videos. I will definitely buy it.

xTool F1, ComMarker B4 or other diode lasers all work on glass, but you need to paint the surface black before engraving. After engraving you clean the paint off and they all engrave well.
@@justineolausen1115 haven't tried engraving dark glass yet, so I can't give you definitive answer. But I plan to make a video on this topic in the future.
Hi there, I am planning to start a new business for customised products specially made up of MDF.Can you please suggest me a machine under 1800$ that can easily cut 4mm MDF and engrave wood & Metal. I think about CO2 laser but they are out of my budget as I am just starting in this field. Thanks
After reviewing it, is it no longer in use? If you don't use it, it's better to send it to subscribers including me 😂 I would be very happy I hope the channel will progress amen 🤲
I continually use some of the machines, but I sell some of them occasionally, because I don't have enough room 😅 but from time to time I make giveaways on this channel so stay tuned 😉

I will release a new video this week. That machine is excellent for this stuff. I even engraved one notebook in the video. Stay tuned!

Probably a different AI voice over service

No, only the voiceover text to speech is done by software since hiring a narrator is too expensive for me. Everything else is done by me.
