Some small tips for optimizing the run: light level affects spawn rates from spawners, so you should put out the flames after doing blaze bed. Also, if you don't already know. middle clicking a block will bring it into your hand if you have it in your inventory.
I'm assuming that's only Java?
@@cgduude I'm not sure if it applies to bedrock or not. These tips definitely apply for Java though

How did you learn how to speedrun bastions? I've looked and looked but there dont seem to be any videos explaining the process and most speedrun videos that involve bastions just involve the runner digging in specific spots with no explanation
search for T_wagz 2-minute-bastion-guides series or K4yfour's bastion guides series (I've linked them below as well in case they're too hard to find)

and I'd also recommend using a bastion practice map, so you can get familiar with actually travelling through the bastion so you have visual and muscle memory for what blocks to dig, where to go etc. and also any decent bastion map should allow you to practice arriving in the bastion at different places (as you would in a real run) and allow you to practice having to get iron for a pickaxe, gold for gold armour so the piglins stop chasing you, and backup gold for when you don't get the required obsidian/pearls/string

and it was very helpful, but there's one or two bugs that mean resetting and trying a route again can be a hassle - in all likelihood these bugs have been ironed out now, so try & find a more up-to-date version if you can
Another map that I've downloaded but not used yet is Llama's Bastion practice map (v2.6.1) which seems much more polished in terms of how easily you can change which bastion setup you want to practice. I can't find a link right now, but in this video from K4yfour he links to the map in the description:

Is this filtered seed? If so, you should put the category in the description. I thought this was purely random seeds at first, not that learning that it was seeded upsets me, I just want to know which leaderboard to compare it to

As long as you aren’t in peaceful at any point, yes. He changes it to make the fire spread faster, and easy is the usual so you take less damage

he's said that he usually doesn't swear if he knows he's going to make something into a TH-cam video, but he usually swears on streams that aren't going on YT & are staying on twitch. he almost always curses when he's doing a stream like this where he tries to beat his Minecraft PB bc he does it twice a week and it takes forever to actually get a PB so the majority of it doesn't go on YT lol
so he doesn't mind doing it, I think he earned a swear after that run!!!!
